During a DBT session, both Tiffany & her colleague berated me for 15 minutes after I used the word “bullying”. According to them, a situation is not considered bullying unless the entire class agrees that it is bullying. I was a new attendee with several other members in our second day of class and this was extremely embarrassing and made me feel very uncomfortable. They both apologized, but only after I informed them that I would be leaving the group. The decision not to continue taking the class with them was an excellent decision and I have subsequently rejoined a new DBT class.
