Dr. Gangemi has helped me and my mother over the years. He has great service from the moment you walk in, he listens, gives his best, and will be honest with you 100%. He knows his stuff and can understand the body. From my experience, other doctors will spend 10 minutes or less with you and prescribe something that may or may not be beneficial for you. Most of the time its not 😬

Dr. Gangemi is a wonderful doctor. I was supposed to have gall bladder surgery about 10 years ago. I instead went to see him and Dr. Gangemi cured me naturally without surgery. He listens to his patients and is willing to go the extra mile and really get to the bottom of what is going on. Dr. Gangemi was the doctor in 2006 that showed me how to bring my good health back after a grueling regime of chemo for stage 3 (almost 4) non Hodgkins lymphoma. After treatment my adrenals were shot and he helped me get them back to doing their job...protecting me. There is no doctor like him and I am so thankful that Chapel Hill claims him! Do not hesitate for a second to seek his help.

When I found Dr. Gangemi I was dealing with two pretty rare and theoretically unrelated conditions of the eyes. I was told by the best doctors in the Triangle that I would likely be facing repetitive surgeries for one condition and increasing doses of NSAIDs graduating to steroids for the other. I was already experiencing elevated liver enzymes on the dosages I was then on. I said, Next science, please. It took a while for Dr. Gangemi to get to the root of the problems, and it has never been easy to keep things on track. But he does. He never gives up and he is unfailingly honest, thorough, creative, and determined. And I am not on any medications and have not had any further surgical interventions. Endlessly grateful to his amazing practice.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Gangemi. He has been an amazing doctor for our entire family. He is the only doctor that I know who can get to the source of the problem without wasting time on unnecessary drugs or interventions. I will forever be grateful to him for helping my daughter speak (she was nonverbal at 3 years old), as once we began seeing him, she starting speaking 1-2 new words a day. Writing a review for Dr. Gangemi is a little tough. His care has been so life-changing, it’s tough to put into a little box on the internet. He’s figured out root issues to hormonal issues and pain that I had for over a decade. He’s my go-to source for my family’s healthcare; the only person I saw during my pregnancy (besides my midwife). He’s now seen me, my husband, my brother, mother, father, and a few friends. Every one of them has gotten outstanding results.He does a really great job of peering through all the BS you’ve been told or believe and really going to the source. It’s wonderful to go somewhere for help and actually RECEIVE IT, along with a viewpoint that inspires hope through focused problem-solving. Super refreshing. Outrageously helpful. Don’t let cost deter you, seeing Dr. G is way cheaper than continuing to live with problems you don’t need or want, and continuing to seek outside help for years to come.

Dr. Gangemi has been my healthcare provider for the past six years. He is the best there is! I found Dr. Gangemi after numerous attempts to resolve a sports injury. Not only did he discover and treat the injury, but he discovered why I was injured. Under his care I have found my healthiest self and continue to exceed my athletic goals. Dr. Gangemi takes the time, effort and energy to get to root of your issue instead of just treating symptoms. In 2002, I was told by medical doctors that the only cure for my hiatal hernia was surgery. As a result of his wholistic approach, I did not have to have surgery and live free from the discomfort that once plagued me. I am so grateful someone suggested I take my daughter to Dr. Gangemi. I had tried all the conventional doctors and none could help her. They only wanted to prescribe meds to put band aids on the problems. No one looked at the root cause of her difficulties. She was developmentally delayed and non verbal at 2 1/2 and had been seeing a speech therapist for a year with no progress. Dr. Gangemi found gluten and dairy causing her gut problems. Once these were removed from her diet, she started talking within a week. Her therapist was amazed and admitted the progress wasn’t because of her. Once her gut began to heal he was able to find some yeast issues in her. He got those cleared up too. She has autism and with Dr. Gangemi’s help she is now high functioning. We have been going to Dr. Gangemi since 2010(I think) after I was sent to a rheumatoid md who told me to go home, do all I needed to do and expect to be in a wheelchair in 5 years. At the time, I was a first grade teacher, had a 7 year old and one month old and felt so hopeless, not to mention that I was in severe joint and muscle pain which made mobility almost unbearable. There just arent words to explain the amazing results I have witnessed over the past 12 yrs as a result of Dr. Gangemis expertise. I knew Dr. G professionally through my career when my son (college student) was experiencing extreme back pain in which he had endured since middle school. I worked with many Chiropractors in the state of NC on a business/professional level, but I had never consulted Dr. G medically. During a business meeting with Dr. G which preceded another traditional Dr. appt with a neuro surgeon with my son for his back pain, Dr. G offered his help.
