I have LOVED working with Home Instead and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality care for their loved ones.I first started working with Home Instead looking for consistent care for my mom who has advanced MS. The staff made me feel heard and cared every step of the way. The process was organized and straightforward.My mom has loved her caregiver, Yolanda, who has been a terrific match for her physical, emotional, and mental needs.Communication has been great and I’m so thankful for the peace I have knowing my mom is well cared for.Besides the people, the things I’m more grateful for is the binder kept in the home documenting all the details of each day and the consistency of having the same caregiver coming in. It has made things so easy!I honestly can’t recommend this enough!

Home Instead has warm, gracious, kind and very helpful people. My dad has needed a lot of TLC and Home Instead caregivers have gone the extra mile to help him. Home Instead has made excellent suggestions for extra things that I can do for my dad, and they have proactively offered services and ideas that I had not thought of that have improved my dads daily life. Home Instead caregivers are reliable and caring, and when you need a favor or extra support, they are there for you. I am very blessed to have their help for my dad and for me.

We have been working with Home Instead for just four months and our experience has far exceeded our expectations. As background, we have worked with another home caregiver placement agency, as well as three assisted living facilities nearby. None of those were bad experiences but we decided that after a year of COVID isolation that home care would be the best option. Every agency I spoke with told us that it would be difficult to find a caregiver who 1) was a man, and/or 2) would be ok with dogs. Home Instead made both happen for us seamlessly! After so much change in his care team we worried that my husband would have a tough time opening up to someone new but from the first day it was as if they had known each other for years! My husband looks forward to Jordan each day, has taken the iniative to get to know him, and will push himself in exercise or activies far more than he does with the family. After many years without personal interests Jordan has inpsired and motivated my husband to read for pleasure and play chess together for hours. The caregivers are thoughtful, caring, engaged, on time, reliable, and helpful. We have gone through a number of agencies trying to get basic reliable help and we will forever be grateful for the service and care they have shown not only to my father (who needs the care) but also to my mother who has been his primary caregiver for a while. They take care of them both, which is so important. thank you!!!

All of the things I could want in a home health care agency I found in Home Instead-Chapel Hill. First and foremost, I want compassionate, friendly, competent care for my husband when I need to be away. I want ease in scheduling the home health care workers and the confidence that they will arrive at the agreed upon time. I have been impressed with all of the staff of the agency and their willingness to help me filing insurance claims, setting up automatic pay for services rendered and their ever good humor in all of our dealings. This is one part of our health care journey that has given me peace of mind. I recommend them without reservation.

I started my search for home care for my 88 year old mother back in June. It was so overwhelming and very confusing. We contracted Home Instead to help in care of husband with dementia and me recovering from pneumonia.Care person not trained, she said she cleaned toilets but did not. Did not know how to make a bed. Worst of all on her first day( without asking) organized the pantry. This all was stressful to me. Not helping me recover. I will not recommend this company to any one.

The office staff is very friendly and they all seem to care deeply about caring for seniors.

Home Instead home care professionals are warm and caring, on time, responsible, well trained and management is easy and responsive to work with. We had 3 agencies before we found Home Instead and believe me, they are rare!

I think this is a terrible Senior Care Company! I found the caregivers lazy and inattentive. The office staff does not follow up on their employees and are unaware of the things they do to the elderly. We all have choices and I would never recommend them for my family members or anyone elses family members. They are expensive and do not provide adequate care.
