I was struggling to find motivation to continue working out, lifting weights, and working on my flexibility. However through andrews program and continued check ups and non stop attention allowed me to improve in my overall physical well being. His program helped me enjoy my workouts while being able to obtain my goals! Can’t thank him enough! 100% recommend

Andrew help me develop a good discipline and love for exercise and being healthy after the birth of my second child. I went from being completely sedentary to work out 5-6 times a week, and shift my focus to what really matters, overall health instead of just physical appearance. Andrew is very professional, flexible, encouraging and works based on your needs, ability and equipment. He is also works with my husband and is encouraging him to achieve his fitness goals even though he has a very busy schedule. I cannot thank him enough for helping me get to where I am today. I see huge changes in the past 2 years I have worked with him. Highly recommend him!

I’ve been a client for almost 4 years now. I love how coach Andrew keeps evolving by gaining knowledge to help me as a client. He has been creative in workouts this year at home to keep me going. He encourages me during tough workouts as well as fun workouts. I watch how he interacts with his other clients and can say he truly loves helping them reach their goals. He has been there to help me reach my goals. Even when I couldn’t workout because of recovering from shoulder surgery he kept checking in and encouraging me while I am in PT. When I finally got back to the gym he developed great lower body workouts that wouldn’t hinder my shoulder recovery in PT. Genuinely a fantastic coach and a champion to help me and other clients transform into our best selves.

My wife and I have had Andrew as our trainer I believe since April 2020 and it’s been a great experience. Both of us have seen great results and the workouts are always challenging but Andrew has tailored it to where it’s almost something new each phase which is exciting as well. I have also been able to manage the pain in my hip/back better and my clothes have fit better also. Highly recommended!

I’ve been very pleased with the instruction and programming that Andrew offers through The Gorilla Garage. I made an investment in a home gym and was looking for instruction on proper form and technique for a variety of lifts/exercises and workout programming that utilized what I had on hand at home. Andrew was very receptive to my needs and goals and put together a program that exceeded my expectations. Further, Andrew’s use of technology has allowed me to reap all the benefits of personal training without the need to jump in the car and drive 40 minutes to experience it. I highly recommend Andrew and the training provided through the Gorilla Garage.

Coach Andrew is by far one of the best trainers I have worked out with. I have shoulder and knee issues but he has been able to modify exercises so that I am able to get the full benefit of the movement. I have seen and felt great progress especially in my flexibility, which has helped tremendously with chronic joint pain.

Andrew has been extremely helpful with getting me in shape. I had never really worked out before in my life and had always been severely underweight. After a year with Andrew Ive gained around 17 pounds, learned a lot about exercising, and gained a lot of strength and endurance.Its always easy to reach out for questions and scheduling is very flexible. One-on-one in-person sessions are great and he always manages to get me to push harder than I thought I could. Online sessions during covid have been very helpful as well, and it was a smooth transition from working out in the gym with all of the equipment to at home doing mostly bodyweight exercises. Around the time covid hit, Andrew also took the time to build TRXs for his clients so they could do better workouts from home.

I started over a year ago my training with Andrew, and I had lots of problems with my knees, back, and movility. After a year of training, I have noticed better posture, strength and movility, has improved a lot, even during the time my knee got damaged, and could not continue doing the normal excercises, he continue to train me by zoom, until I underwent a total replacement knee surgery in May. I am extremely pleased with the training, Andrews professionality, care for his elderly student, and the program he has developed for me is outstandingmy. Could not ask for a better couch..

Ive been very pleased working with Coach Andrew! Whether you are trying to reach PRs, lose weight, improve your Brazilian Jiu Jitsu journey, or just be a better athlete Andrew will help you push past your goals. Ive been working out with Andrew a little over a year and my work out efficiency has significantly improved.Due to covid Id been doing body workouts and BJJ at home, but starting in July I have been lifting twice a week, one and a half hours a day. With Andrews workouts and great coaching I have reached 2 of my PRs for the heavy lifts and am able to roll with my BJJ training partner for an hour straight without feeling exhausted.This is closest Ive been to my goal of reaching the 1000 pound club, and it’s definitely the strongest and healthiest I ever been working with Andrew.

I’ve been working with Coach Andrew for about 2 months now. I’m no stranger to working out and would like to believe I know mostly what I’m doing. However, when it comes to special areas and knowing exactly what to do to accomplish a certain goal, I’m pretty mediocre. My goal with Andrew is to gain lean muscle mas, improve flexibility, and stamina to help me with my jiu jitsu. He is also a wonderful BJJ Professor. Very knowledgeable, patient, and the desire to teach you.Since I have began working with him, I have shaved off 6lbs of fat. We’re also in the middle of a pandemic so I get away with being a lazy bum and skip things. Either way, with that being said, Andrew constantly reaches out to me, mostly on a daily basis to see how I am doing, where I’m struggling and where I’m improving. He really does invest in all of his clients 110%. He’s extremely passionate and it truly shows in his work.Also, I can’t forget to mention how awesome he is to work with. Extremely personable. Especially when it comes to his fees, he is more than willing to work with you based off what you can afford. Obviously there is a minimum for overhead etc. but it just solidifies the reason why you should work with him. He doesn’t just care about the money.

Coach Andrew has an abundance of knowledge in the personal training realm, which is especially complimentary to those seeking primary or supplemental training for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Andrew is able to combine his knowledge as a black belt in Brazilian jiu jitsu, a competitor, and a full-time personal training coach for a unique program tailored specifically to the individual, with special attention to detail when creating the programs.I took the opportunity for virtual coaching and programming amidst this unprecedented quarantine, and was pleasantly surprised that my specific request for areas of improvement were included in the program, along with accompanying video for each exercise on each day. The accountability tools and communicative support was a welcome change to email-only virtual coaching programs I tried in the past.I was excited to combine BJJ drills with strength and conditioning customized to my specific equipment at home, to make sure I was able to get the work done.In addition to virtual training, I have had the distinct pleasure to take in-person strength and conditioning group classes and always learn from his gi and no-gi classes (some day we will be able to hopefully get this opportunity again).Andrew truly has a blazing passion and desire to succeed in his personal training and Brazilian jiu jitsu instruction. Ive been training with Andrew for a few months now.When I started, I was suffering from a pinched-nerve which was affecting mobility in my left arm. That wasnt why I started training though.I did it because of jiujitsu and I thought weight lifting with an advanced practitioner like Andrew Stewart as a personal trainer was the best complement for my BJJ journey.Not only did the regimen provided increase my strength and elevate my perfomance on the mats, it also focused on clearing up my pinched nerve, which turned out was happening in multiple places in my body.I am grateful for this training. Its helped in my jiujitsu in making my rolls easier as well as provide conditioning which has helped me avoid injury.Highly recommended!
