We have all 3 of our girls go to Monarch and the owners and teachers are absolutely amazing! My oldest is graduating this year and we are so proud of her growth this past year… she has grown leaps and bounds. She is now reading, writing, creating her own stories and art daily. She is super independent and absolutely engaging about every aspect of life and study. They were amazing and careful through the entire Pandemic and our kids were safe through the whole process. Trust and safety for your children is worth all the money in the world… and I feel absolutely certain about the flourishing and well being of my children.Thankful for the owners and teachers.

Our boys have been at Monarch for over five years now and I could not have asked for a better preschool/kindergarten experience for them. They’ve learned to be independent, become interested in learning about the environment around them, and most importantly, found a home with the teachers there. These teachers truly love and care for each student! This was so important to us as parents, as both our boys started at Monarch at such a young age. It was also important to us that the curriculum and foundation of the school was built on Christ-centered values and that it was a place for our children to know that church and home are not the only places to learn about faith.Since attending kindergarten at Monarch, my oldest has excelled in the transition to first grade. We truly felt he was more than prepared to confidently tackle public school curriculum, in terms of math, reading, writing. We have made numerous referrals to Monarch to friends in the area and will continue to do so!

It brings me tears to my eyes when I think about how Monarch, Ms. Grace, Mr. Phil and their staff have helped mold our children to who they are today. I cant believe its been 9 years already with our 3 kids. In 2012, when my daughters were 2 & 3 years old, we’ve interviewed several pre-schools in the area and this school is the best! Their Christian Montessori education is excellent and provided our kids a firm foundation of learning, growth and character. Even through the COVID-19 pandemic, Monarch maintained the highest level of precaution, safety measures, and made us feel safe during that time with our youngest. I will miss the songs, Christmas programs, Thanksgiving luncheons, the arts/crafts from my kids, parent-teacher conferences, and our kids stories of what they experienced during school. I was always surprised by what they were able to accomplish at such a young age. My fondest memories will be our kids birthday parties at the school with the puppet shows, oversized balloons, cupcakes, storytelling, and the walk around the globe song. Monarch is an extension of our family and we will miss them very much! My youngest kid just graduated from Kindergarten last June 5th at Monarch. My daughters who are now 11 & 12 years old are doing very well in school - thanks to the Monarchs education and influence.

Monarchs education gave our family the greatest joy and satisfaction. It is the best school that my child loves so much and remains a good memory.

Our familys experience with MCM has been so wonderful! We were recommended to this preschool by a friend, and now we, too, have recommended to many others. The directors and teachers are all so kind and attentive to the varying needs of each child. We appreciate the philosophy of the school, the curriculum and updated programs. The classrooms are well organized, clean, and well staffed. This was so important to us esp during this covid season. Communication is frequent with photos of our childrens daily school activities, and email updates of the schools ongoings. Anytime I have had questions/concerns, either the teacher or director can be easily reached, and they are prompt in responding. We have enjoyed watching our children grow in knowledge (varying school topics & bible related), in social development, and in maturity and independence. MCM has provided loving support and prayer for each of my children, which we are so thankful for! After each school day, my kids come home happily sharing what they learned and its precious to see them excited.Thank you, MCM, for providing a caring and safe environment for my childrens early years!

There are many educational institutions in the area, but it was a great luck for my child to be able to attend MCM for two years. I was worried that my child could adapt well because she was slower and more distracted than other children. But for two years, my child grew up to read and write as much as first grade level. Above all, I am most grateful for MCM helping my child find the joy of learning for herself. I will never forget that the children gathered together in a virtual meeting and prayed together during the time of quarantine. We thank all teachers and staff for their sincere love and teaching.

My family is so thankful to have found Monarch Christian Academy in the Summer of 2013. We have experience with home based preschools and corporate sponsored childcare in the area. My husband and I could immediately see the difference when we toured Monarch. The director and owner, Ms. Grace was very kind and thorough when touring the school. She was genuinely understanding of our family situation and the difficulty we experienced transitioning at his previous school. Ms. Grace was very accommodating and helped develop a plan to ensure a successful transition for our son. She also supported us when our family experienced recent adversity and ensured our son continued his stable growth at school. She and the teachers have a kind, gentle and caring nature and truly exemplify the schools mission. This was confirmed when my shy 3 year old came home and declared “Mommy, I think Ms. Jinny (his teacher) loves me.” He could even see the difference.I also appreciate that Monarch follows the Montessori philosophy which allows my son to learn at his individual pace. He happens to be strong verbally and is able to explore and learn reading and writing, not bound to a generic curriculum. They also have chapel time every day. My son happily shares the stories and songs he learns about Jesus and Genesis. This is not just a business with teachers constantly changing. This is a small, caring Christian based school led by attentive, understanding, accommodating, generous, and gentle teachers.

This is an excellent school. It has the most caring directors and teachers. The teachers are so patient and sincerely caring with the children (including our son who took some time to adjust after being home with grandma for so long). They combine the Montessori method with Christian-based teaching, which was a unique and winning combination for us. We live a little far away and the drive is over 30 minutes without traffic, but we dont regret sending our son here for even one second (the school is that great and worth it)! We can’t say enough good things! I recommend this school without hesitation!

This is a jewel of a place that has a perfect blend of religion and education. My daughter used to go during the Summer and Mrs. Cho, the owner used topersonally pay attention and monitor her work.Unlike most summer camps, Monarch incorporates education during the Summermonths which prevents the bran drain that children experience during Summer. We also liked incorporating Christian religion activities in the students daily task.Thank you Monarch. Thank you Mrs. Cho!

My children have been attending the Monarch Christian Academy (MCA) for 5 years, and the experience has been wonderful. When I was looking for a preschool for my oldest child, I visited over 15 schools in my area. From talking to the school directors, teachers and observing the classes, I came to the following deciding factors:- School must value the teaching of Biblical truths- The director should uphold a clear understanding of the teaching methods and principles, and be able to transfer that understanding to all of the school staff- All staffs demonstrate sincere interest and affection for the children- The school is kept clean and organized- The school follows proper procedures for safety- Children are not neglected, (as I have seen in some daycare,) but fully engaged in activities with educational purposes, whether it be during lesson or play time- Fair tuition rateWhen I was about to give up finding a school that meet my needs, I saw a sign to the newly opened Monarch Christian Academy, and it has been a sweet blessing since. All the teachers are patient and affectionate for my children, and our children love all of their teachers. The teachers truly are great testimonies of the truth! My kids also like the Montessori play works and take pride in their work. All the rooms are clean and neat at all time. The biggest reason for MCAs achievements is Ms. Grace, the school director. She knows each child and their progress. She has some sort of innate authority that kids just come to respect and love. My girls who are attending MCA now tell me that they love to be in school and they probably would love live in MCA if they can!If there is a another star for Over the Top, I would give it MCA :)

I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Monarch Christian Academy! Our daughter has been attending for the past 1.5 years and the growth we have seen in her---socially, academically, and spiritually---has been astounding. She is learning to be more independent (with self-care tasks, picking up her plate/cup after meals, etc.) and is also much more explorative in playing at home with a longer attention span. She enjoys the variety of individual work available to explore in the classrooms but also cherishes chapel time, morning circle time, snacks, play/recess, etc. In class, she learns Bible stories and scripture, and does crafts related to them as well. She learns songs that she comes home and teaches her younger brother! She loves to pray and even volunteers to do so when we are with family and friends. Her spiritual growth has been the most exciting. She is in the primary class and her teacher works with her a lot on writing and reading simple words to prepare her for kindergarten next year. The curriculum includes geography, science, math, practical life, language, and much more. MCA also offers extra programs including language classes, music, and movement.Parents are very involved in helping with classroom activities and special events. The facility is clean and welcoming; I always enjoy seeing the childrens artwork on the classroom walls and windows. The classrooms are open and full of wonderful materials that the children explore at their own pace with the teachers guidance and encouragement. The teachers are amazing and care about each child, ensuring they are reaching their full potential. They help each child learn at their own pace and are great at providing both regular verbal feedback and thorough biannual report cards. The directors, Phil and Grace Cho, are absolutely wonderful! They go above and beyond for MCA and love each of the kids there so much, dedicating so much time and effort into the students; their passion for the school is evident. We truly could not be happier to have our daughter there and would wholeheartedly recommend MCA to anyone seeking an outstanding school for your child. Our daughter has been impacted eternally and for that we are extremely grateful.

We cannot say enough good things about MCA. We have three children who have all attended MCA. Our youngest is still there. Our oldest joined MCA from its very first year of establishment. We found the school quite by accident in our desperation to find childcare as we were new to the neighborhood. Our son enjoyed 3 wonderful years where he was nurtured and loved nearly as much as he is at home. Director Cho has a dedication to the children, the quality of their education and building up of their character, that far exceeds any teacher or principal that I have ever met. We have full confidence that our children are in the best of hands. Director Cho has proved this again and again during childhood illnesses, new food allergy diagnoses, potty training and family emergencies. Monarch Christian Academy has felt like an extension of our family that we can always count on.Our oldest son is now thriving in the Advanced Academic Program at our local public school. We have no doubt that our second child will be headed in that direction as well when it is time for his testing. However, even more than their academic readiness, I cannot emphasize enough the value of the character building that Monarch Christian Academy has played in our children’s lives. Even though we are happy with the local public school, we are always saddened each time one of our children graduates from Monarch and must leave the culture of mutually encouraging kids and parents that is fostered by the school staff and Director Cho.If you have the opportunity to send your child to Monarch Christian Academy, you would be doing yourself a disservice by not sending your child there. I am family physician and my wife has training in primary education and clinical psychology. In our opinion there is no better option for the pre-K to Kindergarten child.

This is an absolute hiden gem. We moved from another state and we visited a huge list of daycares/academies before deciding on Monarch... This is an A+ Academy in all aspects. My daughter spent a year in the primary class. The Director, Ms Grace is awesome. i am not sure when she sleeps! she was always ready to accomodate us, ready to answer any question or concern we had. My daughter learned how to be polite, clean, organized... she learned phonics, alphabet, a lot of other things... this place is very creative, very clean, very attentive staff... its a great mix of montessori teaching and christian background too... We had to go out of the country and we miss them already... everybody there treats you like family... you and your kid will fit right in...
