For more than 10 years I been coming to this place. The staff and Dr. Mark are wonderful and they try hard to accommodate everyone, but he needs more help....one more vet to help Dr. Mark. I also had the heartbreaking decision in putting my fur baby down. Dr. Mark was kind and gentle as we played the song I Will Always Love You. We took our time to say goodbye. The staff never rushed us. The staff understands that what started out as a family pet became a fur baby we love and cherished.

We recently had to put our dog down here. We also got her cremated. They offered the best price, had I not found them I would not have been able to afford the cremation which was very important to me. They also did clay and ink pawprints and gave a vial of her hair. They were kind, gave us as much time as we wanted with her and were very very good to her and us. They got us in fast which was good as she was suffering and did not want her to continue to be in pain. I will always remember this good experience that helped me through one of the hardest things Ive ever had to do. We also used to get her groomed and vet care there which were good treatment and good prices. I cannot say enough good things about them and would recommend them for anything. Thank you truly to all the kind people here.

Had an emergency on the road with our senior dog. Called while in the road. They were waiting for us when we got there and took us immediately and took amazing care of my dog! Thanks everyone at Mallard Point Vet.

Over the years our pets have been patients of Mallard Point for over 15yrs. Over the past year or so it has been getting harder and harder to get our pets in for appointments. Today I call and I tried to get an appointment for one of our pets that could not walk. We were given an appointment for over a month away.. I tried to explain the dog is in extreme pain. And could barely walk. No compassion or consideration. This place has really went down hill over the last year or so. Looks like they are taking on more patients then they can handle at the expense of losing the past patients. Sad, this is the only vet we have used thus far. But today, we decided that the care and response we get on getting a pet in is just getting crazy. Time to move on..

I have used Mallard Vet for 2 years. They helped me when my dog was just a puppy and getting spayed and her first shots. They are always professional and knowledgeable. They keep me informed on not only how my baby is doing in their care but also on the costs for any care she receives. They treat my dog like my baby and she is a wonderful part of our family. I’m glad that I can not only see the vet here but also love the groomer, Laura. Laura is attentive and pays close attention. Star always comes out looking like a Rock Star.Also would like to add that the staff are very kind and professional on the phone and in the office. Never had anyone be rude or unkind. They are the nicest staff.

I travel an hour to go to this vet because Dr Mark and his staff truely care for the animals. I wouldnt take them anywhere else. I highly recommend them.

Took pup in for rash, got shots, prescriptions, etc. In and out in 30 minutes. Everything fine. Got a next day appt as well

Unfortunately I have never been into the facility with the COVID restrictions but have taken my angry kitten to them for grooming and also for nail trims and vaccinations. I am not sure how they treat them but there were willing to sedate her for her grooming and I usually had her other shots, etc at the same time so she’s not sedated too much. They groomer is wonderful on the phone and was so good my long haired kitty looked so adorable that I took my other long haired cat there for grooming.This last nail trim she went in for they told me they were able to do without sedation which was nice and surprising so it is great to know they would try to do this without the sedation.I would highly recommend them if you too have a mean cat who growls, bites and scratches if you attempt to pick her up or touch her. She likes men better than women so that may be the reason she’s more comfortable there since the veterinarian is a male.Thank you to all the wonderful people at Mallard Point Veterinary Clinic.

They are supposed to be the Will country subsidized spay/neuter clinic. They nickel and dime you for everything and in the end it ended up costing more than pretty much anywhere else. We also waited 45 minutes for our appointment on our follow up visit.For almost 3 years now, they have been continuously calling me about someone elses dog (5.3.18 was the first call). Ive called back a few times asking to be removed from their system and that Jack is not my dog. Got another call again today (3.20.19). 😠 I feel bad for this dogs owner as they arent getting the phone calls meant for them. Hopefully they see this review and finally stop bothering me!Got another call today. 😠 (7.29.19)And another call. 🤬 (1.11.21).My dog only visited the office twice almost 4 years ago. We will never return.

Not satisfied with this business at all. Set my two dogs up for rabies shots on 8-14-2020. The visit was fast which was the only plus. My problem lies when setting up appointment I was told 17 and some change for a 1 year vaccine. Not bad so I set up the appointment the failure lies in the lack of communication. I was told no more then 40 out the door. To my surprise they bring dog to car with 140 dollar bill🤬🤬🤬 whoever set appointment failed to tell me there was a 30 dollar charge for office visit for multiple pets (WHICH I WAS CHARGED TWICE for some reason) also failed to tell me there was a 15 dollar charge for the each tag itself. When brought to the attention of staff was told Manger will be calling you to discuss this five days later still no call no nothing. Oh not to mention they kept my pups records and didn’t return them to me. I will take the time and save the money and return my pups to New Lenox. Though something in town would work out but lack of communication and the lack of ability to fix any problem is a no go for me!!!!

My wifes beloved cat of 15 years had to be put to sleep a few weeks ago. Although Im not a big animal person, it was one [f the saddest moments in our 28 years of marriage. We were greeted by a wonderful girl who made this event much more bearable.She told us that we were doing the right thing and that they would send Zoeys ashes to us in about 2 weeks.The complete transaction (euthanasia, cremation, and sending her ashes to us) was$98. They could have charged us twice that and we wouldnt have known the difference. Thank you, Mallard Point.

They are amazing. They took care of my dogs spaying and my cats teeth cleaning. Both times they were so very nice. Always have smiles. Very pleasant and helpful when you call with questions. And they always follow up after a couple of days to see how fur baby is doing.

Didnt listen to our needs or our kitties.. just wanted us to buy into their unnecessary and expensive membership... All we needed was a distempet shot... Dont recommend at all. Lady at desk was so rude and inpatient when we asked questions and didnt want the membership.. and yanked my bfs phone our of his hand when he tried to pull up our rescue kitties shot reccord and medical history.. just rude. Go somewhere else 😂

During difficult times such as we are in now they have really worked hard to continue to care for my dogs. Girls are friendly and Dr. Mark is a gem.

UPDATE 11/2019:DR MARK IS THE ONLY VETERINARIAN TO SEE HERE. He gets 5 stars.-----------I am horrified by our last experience. We were seen by a new Veterinarian. We had an appointment. We waited over an hour after our appointment with absolutely NO COMMUNICATION at any point while we waited.We asked THREE separate times if we needed a physical Rx for our outside order of Revolution. Their prices are HALF what Mallard Point charges, and we were VERY CLEAR to the techs AND THE Veterinarian...all whom said no you do not need a Rx.Its been a week . We have run out of med. And they have been no help. Purposely delaying sending a copy .

The staff was extremely supportive, informative and throughly. I had never been there before, an animal that I adopted had his surgery done there.

They need more experienced people up at the front desk instead of rude young girls trying to be glamorous. Have a knowledgeable vet tech up front so they can answer questions instead of just collecting your money and being rude and unfriendly. I was charged for a pup I just adopted and he still has issues.

I love Mallard Point, I completely trust them and will stay with them for my pets health care and needs.

Vets here really care. My experience has always been that they offer the best for your pet, but are down to earth about what you can afford. Always suggest the least invasive as a starting point when it comes to health issues.Dr. Mark is the best. He has compassionately seen me through a few very hard decisions and situations with my little furry family members.

I have been taking our fur babies to Mallard for years. This clinic excells in every aspect in what they do. The staff is always extremely nice and just asking basic questions about our babies, I can tell they truly care about their our animals.We had to put down our old man last year due to old age and they level of sympathy they showed us still brings a tear to my eye as I write this. I hope you do not have to go through this but if you do, Mallard cares.Prices of their services are low for the level of quality they provide. We were paying almost double down the street and received far less.Dr. Mark is fantastic. He has always provided the answers to our babies aliments. He is patience and resourcful, answering all of our simple question when he was very busy.They send text messages to remind us when our babies need vaccinations which I love because I can barely remember my wedding anniversary.We drive 40 minutes to bring our babies to Mallard, passing countless other clinics because it is rare to find this level of service.

Love the vets here. This is where I board my dogs. They take wonderful care of my fur babies. Im able to enjoy my vacation knowing my dogs are well looked after

Dr. Mark has a genuinely caring manner and my dogs respond positively to him. When he pets and talks to them during the examination they immediately stop shaking and drooling. He always takes time to address our concerns and thoroughly explain our options.Sophie and the girls at the front desk are friendly and efficient. Made the difficult decision to put down my dog. A couple of people I work with recommended Mallard Point. They were very understanding and got me in pretty quickly. The doctor explained what he was going to do and was really very kind. Its never an easy situation but the staff made it a little easier.

Mallard Point has been very nice to deal with. They are very caring to my dogs which is very important to me. Two years ago our boxer was hit by a car and had to be put down. They were very compassionate and thoughtful to us. Even though it was a very emotional situation for us, they treated our Charlie and us with respect and caring. They are awesome!

I have been a happy client of Mallard Point for over 10 yrs. From bath and nail to regular checkups to major surgeries, they have handled them all. I have a pretty big pack and they have always worked with me to keep my cost manageable.I also recommended a friend whose dog had a torn ACL. Dr Mark was able to repair the leg at much lower cost then they had been quoted elsewhere. I highly recommend anyone to Mallard Point..

We have a 15 year old cat...he is in very good health, except for his hyperthyroid. His blood needs to be tested regularly, and he doesnt really enjoy leaving the house. The staff and vets at Mallard Point have made his blood draw visits much less stressful on him, and that makes me less stressed out. He is doing well on his new med regimen. Im extremely happy with Mallard Point, and will bring our little guy there as long as he is with us.

Been going to her for about seven years now call to make an appointment for my cat because she has an ear infection was told they wouldn’t be able to see her in town the middle of October I explain that I am an existing patient they basically said too bad not to mention I brought my dog in there three weeks later he died they told me he was perfectly healthy and all his conditions were normal they also Omie $40 for my cat I believe that’s why they don’t want to see me thank you Miller point now I have to try to find another vet you guys do suck you do not take care of your patience at all it will be Always remembered totally disgusting that you would make an animal suffer that long you should lose your license

The staff was kind, attentive, and seemingly genuine. The Vet was very knowledgeable and more than willing to explain all the issues with my dog. He had a great bedside manor with my dog and made both of us comfortable.

I am new to Mallard Point. I have been there 3 times and have been impressed every time. My daughters dog had 10 puppies and has had several bumps in the road. Dr. Kazmi and the staff have been very informative and patient with our questions. The mother of the puppies loves the Dr. Thank you for the great care you have given to us!!

Everytime i bring my dog or cat here they treat them as if it was their own. The Docs here are amazing!! i would recommend this place to anyone.

They are good vets, nice people to work with, but somehow always seem a bit overwhelmed, which leads to a bit of disorganization.

In response to the review below. It was my cat who I took to Mallard Point and got him vaccinated. A week later he was lethargic, wouldn’t eat, and was throwing up. I didn’t have enough money to keep him in the 24 hour emergency care. They said I needed the money up front they don’t do any bill you later or payment arrangements. I took my cat home and he died in my arms hours later. I contacted Mallard Point as soon as they opened asking to speak with the vet. They told me they will have the vet call me and I still have had no calls from them. I had no idea getting the cat vaccinated would of turned out for the worse. They are very friendly but when it comes to actually helping animals who are in need but the owner doesn’t have enough money you will be turnt away. My cat was barely 4 months old.

Weve been taking our babies to Mallard Point Veterinary Clinic since we moved to Minooka 8 years ago. They could not be any more caring and professional than they are. From annual check-ups to health issues, they have been totally awesome. They are now part of our extended kitty family. We love them.

I would never go back. The office staff is not reliable. And they have no idea who they are billing. And dont care as long as they get their money.Besides which. They lost my dogs pouch, and couldnt care lessWONT be going back. And reporting them to the better business bureau
