Made my first visit to Champlin Shores on 10/6/21. I was very impressed with what I experienced. Carrie was unbelievable with details of how their memory care unit works. This is a perfect community for my aunt. I look forward to moving her in soon.

Champlin Shores is a great place to call home. This place has friendly and knowledgeable staff, wonderful neighbors to enjoy games, walks, delicious meals, fitness, happy hours with music and entertainment. You can also find yourself relaxing on the back patio taking in the views and sounds of the water and the bird sanctuary from Mill Pond right out back.

I’m a worker at champlin shores and I absolutely love it. This place has such a great working environment and wonderful people.

I have worked for Champlin Shores for almost 10 years now. The Residents and staff are like family to me. We all work very hard to make the residents happy and comfortable. It’s Not always easy but worth it. We have many dedicated employees that Makes it all happen. Thank you for all your hard work!

I have been working with Champlin Shores Senior Living for, almost 3yrs now and the residents are so lovely, I mean the facility is a wonderful place to work! And I think the residents loved their homes so, five*****.

I want to thank the leadership team and staff at Champlin Shores, for the fabulous job they are doing keeping our loved ones safe & well during these difficult times. I’m sure it has been as hard on them as it has been on everyone, with that said I sincerely appreciate their professionalism.

Amazing staff, wonderful environment, beautiful facility.

We moved our Dad to memory care last Nov.We are so much more at ease with him being in a safe situation now. He is very content with his new environment. There have been some concerns, mainly with communications dealing with all the staff but, they have been very good about resolving these issues

Moved my Mom in memory care and my Dad in assisted living a few months ago. Their lives have improved greatly. They really like it and the employees are wonderful!

I currently work at Brookdale champlin & it is great!!! I LOVE my residents !!! & usually when Im not working , they usually cross my mind atleast once a day & I think to myself how they are doing!!! It is a great community!! Ive recommended friends & family to work here because I know they would be good for this place & the residents LOVE them !!! ☺️☺️☺️ Half the time my residents are so sweet , it makes me tear up!! 💕💕💕

Excellent senior living facility!

When we first brought our mom in Sept 2015 to Brookdale Champlin, the Memory Care Unit was a very nice place. We were very happy they were willing to work with us in regards to some issues and conditions my mom has. As of Christmas of 2015, a new head nurse Brad started in the Memory Care Unit. About a month later our mom was diagnosed with bone cancer. We decided to stay with Brookdale because they provide palliative/hospice care. Unfortunately we also had to work with Brad for the dispensing of medications. At every turn and progression of care that our mom required (i.e. more pain medication) he questioned whether she looked like she was in pain. Even when the as needed medication was decreased from every 2 hours to every 1 hour by the hospice group (who are in charge of the medication dosing) who informed Brad of this change at the same time they informed my brother (my brother was standing right next to Brad), he neglected to make the change in her chart so that when I asked for some medication for our mom, because she was in so much pain she was shaking like a leaf, I was told by the med tech that a called needed to be placed to Brad to see if it could be given. Brad told the med tech that if the family asked for it to give it, but that the as needed was actually within a 2 hour limit (what the hell does that even mean?). When confronted with this the next day by my brother, Brad had to admit that he forgot to change the time.Im not sure if the rest of this facility is run as badly as the Memory Care Unit is now, but if you have a loved one with dementia and is in need of memory care, DO NOT chose Brookdale Champin.
