I hadn’t had hot water for 4 days. Every place I called had a waiting list to be seen for at least two more days. I called Mattex and they told me they would send someone out within 3 hours. Ten minutes after that phone call, they called to tell me a repair man, Derek was on his way! He arrived promptly, came in with a smile, and was ready to work.He took the time to explain what and why he was doing it. Even though he couldn’t fix my water heater that day, he communicated all expectations of what fo expect when the part did come in for the unit to be fixed.Would definitely recommend Mattex.

We called Mattex for an electrical issue. They were able to come out same day and had the issue fixed in less than an hour. The technician that came was professionally attired, respectful and knowledgeable. I appreciated that they informed me up front if they couldnt make it same day they would for sure come the next because I called so late in the afternoon. Cecil came to our house to give us an estimate to install mew outlet and move 3 other outlets due to a home remodel. He was very friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. He was very thorough, checking my breaker box, looking in the attic, and checking all the outlets and switches in the kitchen. His estimate was $1,400 less expensive than a box store competitor for the same services.

Alex replaced an existing bathroom exhaust fan/light combo with a larger one, discovered and corrected a couple wiring mistakes/hazards from a previous home owner, resolved a smoke detector issue, and rewired a closet light and light switch in our home. He was knowledgeable, personable, and clearly explained his findings/repair plans-including an estimate before beginning work. He helped coordinate the digging and replacement of the damaged line. Previously Both Peyton and Clinton were techs that came to my house to help with a failed sump pump issue. I spent a considerable amount of money to have these folks replace my HVAC and my water heater last year. Since then the water heater has failed and required repair. I have a permanent banging noice every time one of my toilets is flushed. Last week I called for assistance with a faucet leak and was blown off for three days. I was told multiple times that they could come after hours for an addition 150 charge on top of the 90 the charge just to come out. I fixed the leak myself with assistance of YouTube video and my 30 y/o daughter. Today one of their reps quoted me 1300 for 2-3 hours of labor for light swap out. I work in healthcare. Our providers can cure cancer and don’t charge hourly rates like this. People are nice but price gouging is still price gouging. Calling yourself a high end service groups does not make you worthy of that title. Take your business elsewhere.

Rich came out to give an estimate on a furnace replacement for a manufactured home. He was superbly professional and pleasant. The manufactured home market is a specialized market that another company is able to supply furnaces at a special price but Rich did his best to best their price and came close. This was for my mother’s home. A few years ago we used Mattex for our own home (furnace, ac and water heater) and were very satisfied then as well!
