Olivia did a beautiful job with my hair and I love this salon! It was my first time there and I plan to keep going back. Everyone was very kind and personable. It was such an enjoyable experience from being greeted right when I walked in, being offered a beverage, chatting with Olivia about what I wanted for my hair, having her explain to me the products she was using, and the hand and arm massage and then of course the cut and style. The cost was also very reasonable and they were having a sale for certain products which was nice too! I can’t wait to go back for my next appointment!

Carmen has always been amazing with my hair at Something You. But today, my experience was absolutely perfect. I had had a really, really horrible day. Immediately when I walked in, Moriah was so incredibly kind. She really went above and beyond in being gracious and genuinely kind the whole time. Carmen, as always, was a hair master and so understanding. She is so talented and my hair looked 10 times better when she was done. She was so helpful in showing me what products would improve my hair. Once again though, what stood out was her incredible kindness. Carmen was so empathetic to me when she did not have to be. It meant so much to me to go into the salon and have such a total shift in how my day was going for an hour. I cannot recommend Something You enough.

Jayde is my Stylist, & I highly recommend her services for your hair. She encompasses all aspects of what I expect from my Stylist: Time management, skill level (colorist), and she provided some hair education. Jayde was easy to communicate with; and most of all, she is confident within her skills. She was not afraid of my curly hair, nor was she bothered by it. Lorna was amazing. She completely understood what I wanted for color and took the time to really figure out my hair and what I personally like. I am so happy. She also had the most awesome way of wrapping my hair in a towel - it was the perfect kind of snug - not too tight and so comforting! The rituals were amazing and it was exactly what I didn’t know I needed. So much more than just a great hair experience! I always leave feeling great inside and out.

Got a cut and foil by Kelsey a month ago! My hair was soft and minimally damaged after the treatment, even moreso than I have noticed with previous bleaching treatments at other salons. The cut is also very flattering and wears very well with my natural texture. Kelsey did a great job of figuring out what I wanted and if Im around town the next time I need a salon visit, Ill be requesting her.

Lorna is amazingly talented and takes her time to make sure her clients are absolutely happy with their styles. She is also very gentle and does not pull during brushing, while the shampooing process is incredibly comfortable and relaxing. Lorna has so much knowledge and creativity that she brings into styles and color that I marvel each time she transforms my hair.

I just needed a simple haircut and Olivia was very thorough and helpful with deciding how to cut it. But first, she made sure she understood my hair type and any concerns I had. I went to Something You Salon today, for the first time. I had a facial and consult with Michelle. Michelle was awesome, she talked with me at length about my skin and what would be best for me. I had a wonderful facial, gained so much knowledge and of course booked my next visit. Michelle is the most knowledgeable esthetician I have ever had. The staff at Something You are all professional, kind and helpful. So glad I found this place!

This is a beautiful salon; super clean and well set up. I got my hair cut by Carmen who was the sweetest and definitely knew what she was doing. This is one of the best hair cuts I’ve ever gotten and I look forward to my next appointment with her. You can’t beat the price either for a quality women’s hair cut and styling!

Olivia is a fantastic hairstylist. She listened to what I wanted and gave her input throughout the process. The results are above and beyond what I could have imagined! Highly recommend her for a bold hair cut.

This is a salon with 5 star ambiance and service and I keep struggling to like my hair cuts here because I feel like I “should” like it. But alas across multiple visits I keep feel unsatisfied. Just to share two examples, for my wedding I had my hair dyed and cut here. I asked for a 6-8 inch cut at the start. They dyed my Entire hair length first, which required multiple extra charges for hair dye, then cut 8 inches off. Most recently I expressed that I am trying to grow my hair out very long, hated that shorter strands tended to become wavy rather than straight, and asked for 1 inch off just to take the split ends off. At the end of a perfectly fine hair cut, they cut hair off the front to “frame” my face which I did not ask for, and now my front is wavy and 5 inches shorter while my back is super straight. I’m singing mantras telling myself that hair grows back and so what if a year worth of trying to grow my hair all straight and long got messed up but tbh I hate it.

Lorna always goes above and beyond with me! She listens to my wants and makes suggestions to make the cut even better! Today, I walked out of Something You feeling like a million bucks and confident that I’d be able to style it by myself! Thanks so much Lorna!

I usually book my sons cut with Kelsey, who is ALWAYS great, but she was booked, so we happened to get Olivia today and I am not disappointed. Olivia was Magnificent and I am very satisfied with her skills. She was very friendly and professional with my son and made him feel comfortable. Thank you Olivia!

Olivia has done my hair for the past two visits and I walk away loving it every time! She’s very nice and answered any questions that I had. I’m also not a super talkative person, but Olivia never pushed me into conversation and when we did talk it was easy going. If I were permanent resident here, I’d definitely keep coming back!

My whole experience with Lorna at Something You was exceptional. After years of coloring my own hair, I’d decided to start to go back to my natural blonde hair color and knew I wanted to go to someone with expertise and experience. I really appreciated that at the very beginning of the appointment, she was very clear about the estimated time and cost of the appoint. Its more than I typically spend on myself, but WELL WORTH IT. These ladies are artists and should be compensated for their craft. Lorna put in the WORK needed to make my hair beautiful. She was both meticulous and efficient. She listened to my ideas and developed them into something that looks and feels great for me. As an introverted individual, I also appreciated that she seemed to read into that and was fine just letting me bliss out as I was pampered and made pretty. My first visit to Something You Salon was excellent! They took immense care to be as safe, sanitary, and super with COVID-19 precautions. The space was beautiful and welcoming! Olivia took wonderful care of me and helped me decide what type of cut I want and what would look best on me. I greatly appreciated her expertise. Can’t wait to go back!

Lorna was friendly and knowledgeable. I had a photo of a cut I was interested in, however I had no idea how the cut would look on me or what was involved styling it everyday. I asked her to be totally honest! She told me that with the texture of my hair, that particular cut would require a lot of work to style (something I wasn’t interested in). I was SO happy I found someone who didn’t just say, “Oh that will look great on you!” Only to find out the next day I don’t have the tools, products, knowledge time or patience to deal with it. THANK YOU!! Lorna helped me pick a mid length style with long layers that I love! I’ve had so many compliments on it today and I’m really happy. I’ve already booked my second cut along with color this time and am really looking forward to it. The scalp massage and hot towel wrap were so relaxing and smelled so good. Lorna explained every product she used on my hair, what it was, what it did etc. I felt pretty when I left. Isn’t that what we all need! Thank you so much!

Paid just about $300 for something i hated and wasn’t accommodated.The hair stylist I was with was very nice except what I got from my hair appointment was not at all what I asked for. Asked for a trim, and she cut off more than we talked about and left me with choppy ends. Also asked for my highlights to be brightened and the bronze warm color to be taken. Didn’t get that, got the exact opposite of what I asked for.The system they have here BACKWARDS. They quote you before they touch your hair, doesn’t make any sense to me. Tried to ask for accommodations with the owner and was not willing to meet my needs because I “agreed to pay” before she touched my hair.

Carmen did magic with my hair and makeup for my wedding! I dont wear a lot of makeup, so I wanted it to be natural-looking, but still gorgeous and she did just that. Using the airbrush makeup it was light but flawless. They also did my bridesmaids with lashes and everyone looked beautiful. My hair was also perfect and didnt move all night, but was a very soft look. They incorporated a hairpiece my mom made which was extra special. I highly recommend them for a wedding or any event hair and makeup.

Amazing service! Janie was so kind and gentle, I almost fell asleep a few times. I got a cut with long layers and she did it in no time and the results were awesome. Plus, you could pick 2 different spa treatments out of an assortment of 5 choices as an added service, free of charge. I chose the hair facial which is a warm, wet towel wrapped around after your hair is washed and a hand and arm massage. Both treatments were so relaxing! For your first time, you receive a cute little gift bag with different coupons and hair products inside. I’ve had bad luck with past hair salons so I definitely recommend this refreshing experience to anyone looking for trustworthy, knowledgeable and flexible hairstylists!
