As a busy college student, I have had a great experience at Melby Chiropractic. I am in and out of the office within 10 minutes, and I always see improvement in my symptoms after an adjustment. My back and neck pain improves after treatment, as well as a reduction in headaches. All of the staff members are wonderful--- they are great with scheduling and billing. Also, they even have a number that you can text if you have any questions or concerns. I am happy I found this place.

I saw Dr.Melby for the first time today and I’m excited to go back. I injured my back late at night from simply bending over and was able to get in super last min the very next morning. I filled out an online questionnaire on my phone which was very professional yet user friendly before I went in for my apt. I was greeted by friendly receptionists and was very pleased with how clean and professional looking the waiting area was. Dr. Melby then greeted me and asked a few more questions and then we proceeded with xrays and an adjustment. Pain free for the first time in months!

Originally I took my 7 year old daughter to Dr. Melby hoping to alleviate or help with issues that are related to a genetic disorder she is diagnosed with.Dr. Melby and his staff were kind and incredibly patient with her, as she is typically very timid in a healthcare setting. We decided on a treatment plan after discussing options and my daughter has since completed her treatment plan and will go to appointments on a more “as needed” basis.Over the course of her treatment, my daughter became very comfortable in the office and we have noticed changes in her stability of movement among other things since being adjusted.While my daughter was starting her treatment plan, I decided that I wanted to get evaluated, as well, to see if Dr. Melby could help with chronic pain I suffered with in my neck and back.I am currently still working through the treatment plan Dr. Melby put together for me. However, I have felt like a completely different person since being adjusted. My pain is much more minimal, almost to the point of being completely absent at most times.All of that being said, Dr. Melby and his staff are absolutely amazing and very personable. The office is in a great location, very sanitary and appointments are easy to schedule. I would highly recommend Melby Chiropractic to anyone that may be on the fence about trying chiropractic care.

I hate the be the sore loser of the group, but I have to be honest in my experience here. The only reason, I am giving this place a 2 star is because the ladies at the front desk were super sweet and accommodating. Otherwise I would have been giving a 1 star review. I had been recommended this Chiropractor upon moving back up here for my junior semester. Seeing the good reviews and the location, I had high hopes for this place. I am going to keep it simple on why I am giving it 2 stars.1) I think I might be the only person that has had this issue, but upon first arriving, Dr. Melby told me that he recommends me to come to the clinic 3 times a week for 5 weeks. Which would have used all the coverage of my insurance. At first I thought it was slightly weird because my previous chiropractor only requested once a week appointments. I luckily did not have time to do 3 times a week anyways, so I said that and only went once a week. I will say this as clearly as possible. ANY CHIROPRACTOR THAT IS TRYING TO GET SOMEONE TO GO 3 TIMES A WEEK, IS EITHER TRYING TO GET ALL THE MONEY OUT OF THE INSURANCE OR DOES NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING.2) Minimal treatment on the neck, which was the location which I needed to be treated in. I have been to 2 other chiropractors and Dr. Melby unfortunately did not treat my injury with even remotely similar care. He might as well have massaged it and it would have been close to the amount of chiropractic care I received.Now I realize that my experience is probably a sore thumb, but it is very true and unfortunate. Im not even going to address other comments I have seen online of him cracking bones for babies or little children, because that doesnt pertain to me. My advice is to those who want some relieve from their pains and need chiropractic treatment, ask those you know, who actually went to a place and had good experiences. And look as far away as possible from this one.

I went in and wasnt too sure if chiropractic care was going to completely resolve my issues, but I needed some sort of relief. Dr. Melbys calm and gentle demeanor was very reassuring when I was pretty anxious about my current situation. He walked me through every step of my treatment plan and was very thorough. The girls in the office were fantastic as well. They really made you feel like you were more than a customer/ patient.

Dr. Melby and his team are absolutely wonderful! I started looking into chiropractic care after I started experiencing extreme lower back pain early in the second trimester of my first pregnancy. I can not say enough how much treatment with chiropractic has truly helped me. I keep a regular schedule with my adjustments twice a week (super quick in and out which is great for me) and they make it easy to maintain! When I couldnt come for a few weeks because I was gone on holiday I could really tell the difference that my adjustments were making! I am happy to say that I no longer experience the horrible immobilizing shooting pains that I was when I first started treatment. It is a process and it takes time to work, but it is oh so worth it!

I had some back pain I was experiencing, stopped into Mebly to just see if my insurance would cover anything. The staff was so helpful, they contacted insurance and got me in immediately. Dr. Melby is a GREAT chiropractor. I had really bad pain and stiffness in my neck and shoulder blade. I tried physical therapy first and it didnt help. Then, of course, my doctor just wanted to put me on pain meds which does not solve the issue. I thought I would have to deal with this for the rest of my life until I found him. Within a couple weeks I started feeling a lot better already! He has been doing a great job and I definitely recommend him. His staff is very friendly and welcoming as well. Very satisfied!

Ive been a patient of Dr. Melbys for about two years, and its been life changing. I turned to his practice when I had exhausted PT and exercise options for limited mobility in my neck. After focused treatment, my mobility was restored and pain eliminated. I see Dr. Melby now for maintenance adjustments, especially after extended work travel. And in addition to restoration, Ive gained a half inch in height; thats significant at an age when I would expect to start losing some longitude!

Dr Melby is concise, compassionate and is VERY good at what he does. I dont remember a time when I went to him for an adjustment due to tight muscles and he wasnt able to fix the problem. I love that I can call in and get an appointment the very moment I feel a muscle spasming - they are very accommodating. I have been a patient of Dr. Melby for about 2 months. I went to Dr. Melby because of lower back pain, stiffness and limited range of motion. Dr. Melby quickly diagnosed the problem with my back and also identified another problem with my neck which had significantly limited range of motion. After only a few treatments, I experienced much improvement in my back and neck. The range of motion in my lower back and neck are back to normal and the pain and stiffness in those areas is nearly gone. Dr. Melby and his staff are very professional and easy to work with. So heres my story: I had pulled or popped something in my back. It was so bad that I began to walk with an extreme lean to the left and I had a limp!! It was painful to walk, drive and even to sit. I went to the hospital and they put me in a cold and sterile room. Left me there for 30 minutes. Came in, poked my back and asked if it hurts, then gave me an inflammatory pill, a low dose pain pill and a pill for my brain... BECAUSE THEY LITERALLY SAID IT WAS ALL IN MY HEAD. No X-ray whatsoever. And I felt worse.So, I went online and began looking for chiropractors and immediately found Dr. Melby. I had a good feeling about him so I called. From the moment that I went in, I was treated with kindness and respect and they were genuinely concerned for my well-being. Dr. Melby TOOK AN X-RAY and found that my spine had curved to the left and I believe a disc was misaligned, too. That same afternoon, he adjusted my back and I stood straight up!! STRAIGHT UP. I felt so good that I almost cried. I went home and threw away my pills and Ive been going to the good doctor ever since.Its been over 5 years. I highly recommend him.

After ignoring my back pain for the past 5 years, it got so severe that I decided to give Dr. Melby a shot. I felt immediate relief after the first appointment! I should have gone a long time ago. I suffered hip pain for two years that was so severe I would almost fall while walking. My doctor thought it was bursitis and prescribed a useless anti-inflammatory. My son Jack has Down Syndrome and Autism. He is 8 years old and has struggled with constipation and cronic upper respitory and ear infections. He would be on harsh antiobotics which would provide a short term cure until the infections returned a few weeks later. For Jacks anxiety issues, the only thing we could do is put him on more perscription medications with difficult and dangerous side effects. My husband and I wanted to get to the underlying reason for all of these issues and finally realized we needed to try a different approach that was more holistic. Jack has been seeing Dr. Melby for about 6 months now. We also changed Jacks diet to Gluten Free and Dairy Free. This combination has truly changed his life. By getting Jack regular adjustments his body is healing naturally and we have finally found something that is providing long lasting results. Jack has not been on one perscription medicaiton since we started this holistic approach. He has not even been sick other then a tiny sniffle. Jack has had other amazing benefits as well. Jack sleeps wonderfully almost every night. His anxiety has decressed, he is calmer and I have never seen him as happy as he is now. My family has received so many compliments about Jack from other family members as well as his therapists. Jack has never been able to focus while learning and now the focus is there. He is much more cooperative with his therapist and he is understanding and responding to comands quickly. Jack has picked up more sign language and is practically potty trained. In the last month Jacks stimming has finally decreased. This took a little longer to go away but I think that his body just continues to heal. It is a process but one that is well worth it. This is a truly safe and healthy approach and has changed Jacks life!
