If your coming across this review and considering whether or not to go for acupuncture treatment with Dr Nina Wang, rest assured you can take this as a sign, and go. Just want to enlighten those that are wondering, speaking from personal experience, acupuncture works and has been around for thousands of years for a reason-though I was open minded enough to give it a try, I was admittedly skeptical at first- but in retrospect- tremendously grateful that my mother came across Dr. Nina Wang and convinced me to go. Simply put, Dr Nina Wang is extremely professional in all regards. After many treatments (positive effects are cumulative) my headaches, anxiety and back pain among other issues, drastically improved and continue to improve after each session. Typically I use superlatives sparingly, but in my case, I have seen a continuous improvement in my day to day life more than I have with other medications, so much so, that I wonder how acupuncture isn’t more well known (she also prescribed some Chinese herbs which have helped). I highly recommend Dr. Nina Wang at Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (right next to Champaign Public Library).

I had all kinds of problems from a history of poor eating habits. Dr Wangs treatment proved tremendously effective. She is so friendly,a professional and gentle. Her practice is a very peaceful place. I highly recommend her to anyone who needs acupuncture therapy.

I was starting had issues with my stomach, such as vomiting and nausea especially after a meal. The vomiting stopped immediately with the first treatment. Dr. Wang also recommended traditional Chinese herbs to me. The herbs looked disgusting but they made me feel so much better that I came to like them. And they did not cause have the side effects of some over the counter medication I tried! I also have found acupuncture to have a calming effect. The local community is lucky to have Nina Wang. She is kind and gentle.
