Wonderful experience here today with a young family member who was ill. Clinic was spotless, check in from Tony was seamless, no insurance issues whatsoever. Wait is listed on the board in the lobby and we were actually seen more quickly than what the wait time listed. Nursing triage was very thorough, and we received excellent care from Dr. Ifeoma Eke (excellent with children!). Parking is available next to the door for all patients, the overall staff is kind and good with kids. I highly recommend! You can also download the app and check in online.

The check in and the entire process was seamless, however there were two staff in particular who were extraordinary! Mary, the Nurse was super charged with energy and captivated us immediately from the start. Dr. Nailor entered the room and immediately brought a calming peace. She was nurturing, kind hearted, energized, and knowledgeable . She immediately connected to my daughter. She shed light on our situation and just made me feel at peace as a parent. I was so grateful for the professionalism and respect shown. A sincere “Thank You” to the staff for your service!

We had a great experience at this location. We are new to Atlanta and our son got sick. We went when the location opened up on a Sunday at 9:00. They were pretty busy but they were trying there best to get with everyone. And they did apologize for the wait.We waited maybe 30. The nurses and doctors were super nice and explained everything and didn’t rush us off.Thank you

One of the worst location. SLOW service and BAD attitude from the people in the front desk. Today’s bad experience (it is not the first one; however, I’ll make sure it will be the last one since I’m not planning to comeback to this location ever again). I went with my wife and my twins to get check on a throat infection that they have. I was told that only one parent can be in the facility per child. I explained to them that the two children are sick and that make them two patients that how is that different from two children coming with one parent each? The explanation that informed to me was that since we are one family then only one parent can be in the facility. So I had to wait outside for almost 2 hours (Looooong wait time always In this location) if we wanted to get admitted. I understand that COVID protocols are in place but this one did not make sense at all. Just to add more context on how bad the services in this location. A couple of month ago I went with one my daughter to this location and after waiting more than 1 hour just to be seen by the nurse I wait 2 more hours for a doctor that never came to room. The only explanation that was given to me (after I complained for the long wait)is that there were only one doctor and that she was taken care of an emergency. After 3 hours I left the facility without seeing the doctor. JUSt BE AWARE

My daughter was a patient at this location and they did a wonderful job. Normally my daughter doesn’t like doctors visits and cries everytime. The staff were very friendly and nice she felt super special after her visit she received stickers and a special toy from nurse Mary which she carries around all the time now since our visit. Thank you again for your care and making sure my daughters experience was awesome 💕💕💕

The worsttt urgent care ever. Plz do not waste ur time going to this urgent care. Super slow service. I was there almost 3 hours in the clinic for the doctor to come. First the doctor came saw my son. It took her 2 mints to see him and she did a x ray on his foot. And i was waiting 2 hours in the room for her to come back with x ray result. I wish I could give them 0 star if i could.

Best experience today at CHOA! Best experience from check in to check out with minimal wait time and an extremely competent and helpful staff. Everyone from reception to the nurses to the radiologist to the doctor were top notch and could not have asked for a better experience. They were able to relocate my daughters dislocated elbow in minutes. Exceptional treatment!

Amazing experience! The staff, doctors, and nurses room great care of our little one. It’s not easy to see your child in pain but they helped the best they could to soothe her and ease our minds. It felt safe and clean during COVID. I appreciated the way all the doctors went over symptoms, treatment, and results with us. They did not rush us in and out. We had to visit three days in a row for antibiotic shots, so we saw several doctors and nurses. We barely waited at all. I’m not sure what all these other reviews are talking about. We saved our spot online and walked right in. I would definitely recommend this place to others!

I have so many issues with this place.1) It will take them three hours to see you, and will then charge you the same as an emergency room visit. I have no problem paying for medical necessities, especially when it comes to my child, but it’s false advertising.2) They will take other patients before your child, even though you were in line first. In certain situations I understand that there is a medical hierarchy, but a 10-year old with a sprained ankle has more patience than a 7 month old and can wait their turn. Age should be taken into consideration when seeing a patient.3) When I asked how much longer it would take to be seen (I promise it had been longer than the wait time we were originally told), the front staff told me that they were busy trying to revive a child!!! I felt like the worst human being in the world, and was in tears for how they made me feel.On top of all of this, we had to go back within 24 hours (and waited another 2 hours) because our son had a reaction to the medicine they prescribed, and they neglected to inform us that it was a normal side effect. This side effect was not listed on any of the documents (trust me, I checked). They charged us for the follow up, even though one of their staff members said if it was related to the first visit there would be no additional fees. Funny enough, this was the same woman who told me about the staff trying to resuscitate the child. I’m very grateful my child is fine and didn’t need any special care at this second visit. Apparently it’s $180 just to check his vitals. Hard to understand how they qualify as a non-profit...Or maybe I need better insurance 😂. Even though I disagree with how much I was billed, I probably wouldn’t feel as strongly if the staff, wait time, and customer service had been more pleasant. This location doesn’t deserve your business. On that note, I highly recommend Piedmont Urgent Care.

This urgent care is a little backwards. I checked my daughter in at 2:30. I had 3 people Check in after me and because they signed in online my daughter had to wait longer. I don’t think choa should allow so many patients before a walk in patient. Especially when urgent care is not about routine visits. There shouldn’t be an option for appointments and walk ins. This is ridiculous. My daughter and I sat in the waiting room while the online appointments kept coming in before us.I also think there should be someone to update patients when things like this happen. It’s better to just go to another urgent care

I loved this place when they first opened. Patient care seemed to be a top priority. Now, it seems like a mad house and they don’t seem to care about the patients anymore. You are just a number as they give you when you walk in the door.I took my daughter there Saturday night with a 103.5 fever. Her heart rate was 156. They would not run any tests. I asked for her to be tested for the flu. Dr. Nadlor (I think that’s the spelling) refused to test her and said she wouldn’t treat her for the flu or anything. I understand some doctors don’t want to prescribe Tamiflu due to the side effects, but with a fever this high any parent should know what their child has and what to signs watch out for.I had to take her to her pediatrician Monday and she tested positive for the flu. I guess it would have taken 15 more minutes for them to run a test and report it to the CDC.It was a wasted trip and a waste of money. I used to recommend this facility, but would discourage anyone from going unless it’s a life threatening emergency and in that case you should go on to the ER where you are expected to be a number.

The long wait they tell you up front isn’t even close to how long you actually have to wait. They ask if you checked in online but the website always says all slots have been filled. For as new and as much money as it cost you’d expect something better. Go to a piedmont urgent care

We have no insurance. If you are in the same situation, choose a different urgent care in the metropolitan area. Childrens is THE most expensive urgent care that I have encountered . I have been to several different ones in the area. I went to this new one because it was new and thought we would check it out. The base price for the visit alone was $356 for the doctor visit. My daughter only had a cold and a strep test. The strep test was an additional $140. Even with the 50% off for those with no insurance. The is still way over what Piedmont Urgent care and Dunwoody urgent care are who are closer to me.The visit itself , facility and staff, were good, but not worth the price compared to other urgent cares.

Your better off going to the emergency room, the wait time here is ridiculous! It took a hour and half just to do registration, the ER would have called our name in about 10 mins and had us in a room within 30 minutes. The staff are pleasant but this urgent care is definitely a no go !

Staff is very friendly and helpful, but...... both of my kids were either misdiagnosed and they missed an ailment. One had a sinus infection that lead to other infections while taking the medicine, but missed the ear infection she had. I took her to her pediatrician and we found out about the ear infection which could have been found in the beginning had the doctors paid attention. I went back but Id rather go to urgent care than the ER, next time I will go to the ER. Anyway, I was told my son just had a bad cough, give him cough drops, cold water humidifier and plenty of liquids. What good that did, now my son has severe bronchitis and is on even more medicines. I am very, very disappointed and I refuse to go back. A hospital designed for children and totally screwed my kids. Thanks a lot. You other people can keep on loving them, always get a second opinion or go to your regular pediatrician after a visit. I would really hate for kids to end up like mine.

Crazy how one person can mess it up for a whole group of individuals and that is what seems to have happen in my review of this location. I have been a customEr of this location since they came to tHe area and this is the first time I think I have ever encountered such a worse experience than tonight . So my teen came in for a sore throat the doctor who saw her was Ifeoma eke and felt it was her duty to talk down on me. Was crazy because at first I wasn’t sure if she was intentionally doing it or she might of just came off the wrong way but she continued to do it the whole time I was there I was giving details into the situation and she continued to bE confrontational. For this Practice i was surprised I’ve literally seen about 7 different doctors here they all were nice very informative but this lady really took this place to an all time low...

This was the absolute BEST experience I have had at ANY urgent care ever. I would say even more so than my pediatricians office. Every single person interacted with my 5 year old like he was a 5 year old. Even the man taking my insurance and credit card info engaged him, laughed with him and waved at him multiple times as we sat in the waiting room. Our nurse was incredibly kind, helpful and attentive to my son. She addressed worries and questions without blinking an eye and with such kindness. She referred to other patients as “our other friends” (I.e. “I wear gloves so I don’t share germs with our other friends who I’ll see next”, etc.) I loved that she explained it that way to a child - what a blessing if we ALL interacted that way!! The doctor who came to see him was just the same. Went above and beyond to answer questions from my son (which there are A LOT. He’s 5 🤪). She was quick yet attentive. And so personable. She gave my son a popsicle before he left! Even the lady who came in to give us discharge papers was so kind and patient. As we were leaving the facility, the lady at the front desk even gave my son a goodie bag with little toys and trinkets... I mean TREASURES! Just wow!!! My experience was exceptional and I will make sure that everyone I know, knows it. THANK YOU for creating a safe, friendly and efficient environment for our children!!!!! 10/10. Five stars. 2 thumbs way up!!! 🎉👏🏼

The basic care is fine but the charges are egregious. $356 for the base visit and $2,455 in total to diagnose a small fracture. But this didn’t include a cast. Rather a referral to another doctor - of course in the Childrens network - for another $900+ to put on a cast. So we are at approx $3,400 before our final visit to remove the cast. It appears we are double billed for services but Children’s refuses to budge.Very disappointed and saddened how Children’s takes advantage of self pay patients (even with the offered 50% fast pay discount that’s far higher than what it appears insurance companies pay). These charges are in line with ER charges we have seen in the past for our kids. This isn’t the point of urgent care, at least in my understanding. This feels a bit of a bait and switch. As a note we had a 5 day stay at Children’s and the bill was 13k - for a serious issue - but we are going to get charged almost 4K for a simple break. This is all that is wrong with healthcare today. I trusted Children’s until this experience. No more.Take your kid somewhere else and get prices up front.

*AVOID*I visited this urgent care for my newborn(15days old). When I reached there, the waiting time was 45 minutes. However, they kept me waiting for 2 hours to see doctor. As my baby was crying I requested them to see doctor but staff didnt care. Kids who came after us were allowed to see doctor before us. Those kids were playing and doing better than my baby. Later doctor asked us to go to Emergency Room without wasting a minute. When I was requesting again and again to see doctor that time nobody cared.Terrible service!
