Very difficult to deal with. Attempted to donate 3 separate times. Today when I pulled into the handicap parking spot a female ran out to the door and informed me they were closing in a few minutes. What is an extra few minutes to allow an older crippled man time to unload a car full of linens and dishes, bags of men’s shoes and clothes? They boast of their outstanding achievements yet I find them difficult to deal with. Car load of stuff went into the dumpster today. Job well done assistance league!

I went to Assistance League with my two children, and they turned me away. They told me that children aren’t allowed during COVID. But there’s no sign. So why are children not allowed? I don’t understand. There are other stores allow children. This is the second time I have been turned away. I don’t want an “I’m sorry you got all the way to the door”. This is the second time I’ve tried to come to the store and I’ve been turned away. Shameful.

My mother and I have been shopping here for years. Every time I visit my mom I can’t wait to check out this thrift store. Recently they told me I couldn’t use my stroller and I had to carry my 3 mo. old infant around the store. How practical is shopping with one arm free holding a baby? If it really was for “space concerns” then you wouldn’t want a bunch of strollers parked up by the front of the store, clogging up the entrance. They probably assume all new mothers are going to steal using their stroller. Well who is going to make sure someone doesn’t steal my $300 stroller? I wonder how they accommodate disabled people in wheel chairs? Oh hi can you please leave your wheel chair at the front please? I used to love this place. It’s too bad they discriminate against moms with babies. So if you have little ones make sure to get a baby sitter or be prepared to hold your baby while you shop.

I just went to donate and shop for my kid. When I opened the door I was told no strollers allowed. Im sorry, but how is a mother supposed to juggle shopping with her baby without a stroller. Have another option please. And work on the attitude. A little compassion would be nice (to the lady that spoke to me).
