Horrible. Erik Smith lacks concern when there is a medical issue...which later causes issues. I will never go there again!!!

The ultrasound tech could have cared less that I got to take home one decent picture of my baby. She did the anatomy scan and looked at all the organs but i waited all this time to finally see my baby again and come out with terrible pictures. Baby was in perfect position to get some good shots. (I left with 3 foot pictures and 2 blurry side pictures of the face) Also told me she didnt have the technology to do 4d picture. Yeah, okay... she was a little rough poking around with the probe too which is completely unnecessary. My blood pressure at the end was slightly elevated and the doctor asked me If I was smoking or drinking, almost like he was accusing me. I recommend going somewhere else. No thank you I wont be back.

If you can, avoid this specialist to save a boat load of time and money. After a lengthy wait to see her, the doctor was extremely rude and unprofessional. She acted annoyed that I even asked to see her after my ultrasound despite being scheduled for an appointment with her and being charged a massive bill for a very brief consultation of less than 2 minutes, during which she never even closed the door or sat down. She acted as if I had no business asking questions about or discussing possible pregnancy complications with her, even though that was the whole reason I even got the referral. She offered very terse responses that were either painfully cursory or that I should talk with another doctor about my concerns. To top it off, the ultrasound technician was very rough and I left in a lot of pain. Overall, a wasteful experience. I do NOT recommend WellSpan Maternal-Fetal Medicine!

I wrote a review a while back and gave a 5 star review based on my experience with Dr. Smith and Allison (ultrasound tech) during my last pregnancy...Unfortunately that isnt so much the case with this pregnancy...I still see Allison (ultrasound tech) and she is AMAZING...HOWEVER, today I met with a new doctor...Dr. Cynthia Anderson and Ive honestly got to say, she is the RUDEST, MOST UNCOMPASSIONATE doctor that Ive ever met in my life! I will NOT be returning here and will be transferring my care elsewhere!! 😡

Dr. Anderson was amazing. Kind and compassionate, yet upfront and honest. I was so lucky to have her for a week with my severe preeclampsia. She answered every question I could have had and did an amazing job with my csection. Couldn’t have asked for a better doctor under such a bad circumstance. Dr. Meta, who I didn’t have for long was also great and would even round on me in the NICU so I didn’t miss time with my baby. Great team over there.

If not for Dr. Smith and Dr. Anderson, my baby might have died due to undiagnosed preeclampsia by Women’s summit health across the street from them.

I went here every week with my last pregnancy just 6 months ago as I was considered high risk and I absolutely LOVE this office...I have never had to wait and was always treated with kindness and respect from everyone that works there...I am pregnant again and refuse to go anywhere else. Was referred by my obgyn to get genetic testing. Got to the office, was told its too soon to find out if Im having a boy or a girl. I told the office I was referred so we could get the genetic test done and we can find out if were having a boy or a girl. Lady at the office said Okay. And sent me to get my finger pricked so we could get 5 drops of blood. The woman that pricked my finger was rushing through the test. She didnt even let the blood pressure machine read before she started trying to take my blood. She told me The results will be back in 5 days at your obgyns office. Then took me to reception to schedule my next appointment. Reception tells me that they want to schedule me one month before my baby is due to find out the gender with an ultrasound. Im upset by this. So they schedule me 3 months out. 3 days later, I follow up with my obgyn. She tells me We should find out by Thursday and based on the notes I see, well be able to tell you if youre having a boy or a girl. So I call my obgyn today. No results. They suggest I call fetal medicine. So I call them. The nurse on the line is super rushed and sounds like she doesnt want to talk with me. She puts me on a brief hold and says The test takes 7 to 10 days and it wont tell you the gender of the baby. We only do that test if we draw your blood. Not the fingerstick. I tell her I was told by my obgyn that you did do that test. And that was the test I told the nurse I wanted done. The lady says Theres nothing I can do about it. And we cant give results. So dont call us again. Call your obgyn if you want results. In the meantime, Im in tears. Because Im now having to wait another week because they gave me the wrong test. I waited a month for my appointment the first time and was treated horribly and the staff doesnt care about what the patients wants or needs are. They are scheduling people based on dates they have available, not even paying attention to the due dates. They also gave the wrong information to my obgyn. I ended up calling her in tears to see if she could get me in and do the correct testing since they messed up so badly and Ive had such a horrible experience. Im so disappointed that theyre the only Fetal Medicine office in Chambersburg.

The photo and the address Google provides is wrong it takes you to a different building,it made me almost miss my appointment...this office is in Summit Health Building 1 in Chambersburg PA ,the address and picture provided takes you to some other Keystone health offices.
