Im not happy at all! In the past 2 months my kids appointments have been rescheduled 3 times. My oldest 2 had their appointments rescheduled in August because they said their doctor called off. My youngest 2 were supposed to have their 4 month check up last month in September. We got a call and said it needed to be rescheduled and the earliest they could do is a month later. Now my twins are 5 months old and just got another call saying their appointments are being rescheduled again for the second time!! They wont have their 4 month check up until they are 6 months old and thats IF they dont reschedule again. My husband works and I have a toddler plus 2 older kids. We rearrange our whole day around these appointments just to get an appointment that needs to be rescheduled for a different day that doesnt really work for us. Also some of the people that work there should choose a different job because they arent friendly at all. Im going to start looking for a different place to take my kids to.

Absolutely horrible beside manner at the Chambersburg pediatrics location. I’ve not only encountered this incredibly rude and vile receptionist once but now twice. Her attitude is atrocious and her tone isn’t friendly nor welcoming. I had to banter with this “staff” memeber for well over 10 minutes and she didn’t check my daughter in and proceeded to tell me she wasn’t dealing with me and called her supervisor whom I already had spoken to about ANOTHER incident that happened under their nurses care and my daughter had a gash on her head. Ninoshka proceeded to then tell me I would have to wait for her supervisor despite me telling her she cannot refuse my daughter service and her fever was 103.8 in which she told me “yes ma’am you’ll have to wait”. Your staff speaks a lot about you as a practice and your sick visit clinic is absolutely horrible. Your nurses besides the ones who go in with certain doctors are also rude and not caring. The nurse before seeing the doctor didn’t even bother to ask what my daughters symptoms were. Note to add about this receptionist she processed to talk Ill of my daughter and I in Spanish being completely ignorant to the fact that I AM SPANISH. Staff like this shouldn’t be representing your company. Also in the incident report the nurse who was responsible for this gash made it seem like it was my daughters fault. Absolutely horrendous. I’m glad to be switching over to another location where we’ll be treated with humility and respect.

My experiences at Keystone Ped has been somewhat satisfactory . The doctors are just ok. I’ve seen a couple of them and my faves would be Dr Colli and Dr Galicia . They have always been patient, thoughtful , caring, knowledgeable and kind. Others just rush through appointments & care less for children. SOME nurses in this facility, however , leave a lot to be desired ! Watch out for them . One particular one “ Brenna” is not kind, compassionate and thoughtful and should consider another profession honestly. I brought my 2 month old In for her first shot. She first administered the oral one, baby was crying through it. She didn’t stop but proceeded to administer the medicine amidst the baby coughing and crying .She also put up attitude when I expressed concern and told her I wanted to soothe my baby for sometime before she proceeds to administer the shots. Baby was crying before and through the shots and this nurse did not say a word. Nursing is not only a profession. It is a CALLING for kind and compassionate people . If you don’t like children , find something else to do!

Absolutely loved Dr. Hannigan and her staff! My daughter has extreme social anxiety and usually gets extremely upset during visits and doesn’t want to be talked to or touched. It was the first time she’s been cooperative and had a positive experience. I couldn’t be happier with our choice to come to Keystone Pediatrics!

Love the doctors but the front desk staff need some work. I have stood waiting for someone to acknowledge that I would like to check in but they were too busy with a gab session to open a window and say may I help you. I felt like I was interrupting and I shouldnt have.Today, I called to make an appointment and they told me I would need to speak to a nurse. I left a msg for a nurse and the front desk said I should get a call back probably by 5. Closer to 5 I didnt get a call yet so I called back and asked if I could just make an appointment to get one on the books so it is scheduled for the following week. My daughter is no longer sick and needs a doctor s excuse to return to school sports. I could not believe my ears when I heard the next sentence. The person in scheduling said they dont make appointments for sick kids. I really dont know what their job is if that is not the case...

The Doctor that my oldest daughter sees is wonderful, but the process behind the scenes here is primitive. I cant even book an appointment for my newborn because she wasnt born in a hospital. I have called 5 times in the last week because its really important that I get help with my babys latch. No one can do anything for me because apparently the medical records team is away so we dont have access to the records. Im sorry but usually if someone is on vacation its a good idea to have coverage for that job. No one in the office can work a fax machine or a scanner? Im so terribly disappointed. I wouldnt even go here if it werent for Dr. Curtis and her expertise with breastfeeding. Not to mention every wellness visit, the nurses bombard you with questions that youve answered a dozen times and rush you through the process of weighing your baby at the same time - it is very stressful.

Ive had good experiences in person at the office with the Dr. and nurses, but calling the triage nurse is terrible. Someone in that position should understand they are talking to a parent worried about their child. They have always been very short with me and make me feel like my concern and questions are an annoyance. The goal seems to be to just get me off the phone with as few words as possible. I call because Im worried that somethings wrong with my child and I dont know exactly what to do, thats a terrible feeling, but I feel even worse after speaking with the triage nurse. I understand liability and protocol may be to always advise an ER trip for certain conditions, but have a little compassion. It wasnt necessarily the message, but the delivery, almost passive aggressive. If they find talking with concerned parents so irritating, then these nurses are probably in the wrong line of work. You can pay me $20+ dollars an hour to just relay a message you dont need a nursing degree to do that. I do expect a nurse to be able to answer basic, general anatomy questions.

I love the doctors here but the nurses and some of the receptionists are really nasty. Specially if you want to do 1 vaccine at a time. They also are terrible keeping track of which shots they already did. So they have sdouble stuck my kids with the same shot even though last time I saw the shots in the room and the nurse wrote them down before she gave them. Also another time I got 2 vaccines done and the nurse gave me a hard time about only doing two and she poked him 3 times and when I tried to find out why he had 3 pokes for 2 shots they wouldnt tell me why. So you have to keep track of the shots yourself and watch everything the nurses do.

Overall experience as far as appointments hasnt been bad. Nothing special but nothing negative either. However getting paperwork to transfer to an office closer to home has taken over 3 weeks and I cant ever get an answer on when its being processed and am being told I cant physically walk in to pick it up because they are understaffed. Not thrilled with the customer service weve received. Hopefully we get the documents before we reach 30 days of the request, otherwise we will be taking further action. Hire more help Keystone!

I used to be really happy with this place, but then I got worried when they started allowing walk ins. Now you cant get appointments earlier than a month in advance. They sit on paperwork. And dont follow up anything timely. The doctors are nice when you finally get in, but it really feels like appointments got pushed aside to make room for the walk ins.We might be changing providers soon.

I havent even brought my kiddos in for appointments yet and they are already being hard to deal with. I switched their doctor just now. The new Dr office had no problem doing a special request for my daughters medication record. Im so glad I never dealt with the frustration others have gone through dealing with this place. I have 4 kiddos at home, 2 with special needs. I definitely dont have time for incompetent office staff at the Drs.

My son sees Dr. Hall and we absolutely love her. She is so compassionate, knowledgeable, friendly, and caring. Our son loves her! We had experiences with other physicians in the practice and have never had a problem with any of them. The only thing though that was quite frustrating was one of the nursing staff was asking me how to spell medical terms and diseases and what they were. That doesnt give me great confidence in the nurses ability. All other nurses we have dealt with have been very professional and knowledgeable. Our experience has been great beside the one nurse.

Worst doctors office around! I do not recommend taking your child here. My daughter will never go back. The office staff are rude, and so is the office manager! They do not care about the well being of your child. They are too big of a pediatrician, and only concerned about the money aspect of it and not the patient. My child was sick and they refused to see her. Due to there scheduling mistake of having two children with the same name. Absolutely ridiculous!! Definitely not the first incident I’ve had there, but was the last straw! This practice needs be shut down!

He is fantastic and I try to schedule with him for all her follow ups. He is kind, answers all questions, is direct and honest. I saw all the doctors there through her hospitalization and they were all fantastic, really a good group! The walk in is a fabulous addition to the practice and is always very fast. Very unprofessional. Dont even care about the well being of your child. The one doctor named Jessica, prescribed my 5 year old son such a high dosage, it was for a 12 year old. And completely ingored the information I was telling her about what was wrong with my son. She completely ignored the swollen lymph note on the side of his neck and said he was completely fine when hes not.

I absolutely love the doctors/providers at Keystone. Yesterday I needed my 2YO to be seen ASAP and they got him in right away. He has had many issues with his ears and hates having them looked at. Yesterday Ali was so patient and gentle with him. She has always been one of my favorites! I have been taking my children there for 7 years and Ive never had a single issue with any of the doctors or scheduling. I always recommend them to anyone looking for a good pediatrician.

I was a few minutes late at the chambersburg location because my daughter had just woken up from a nap. (She just turned a year). I was in the middle of the self check-in process when a nurse called for us for the ten minute warning. I waived to her and started to walk toward her. She looked at me, closed the door in my face, and marked me for a no-show. Im aware of the no-show policy after 10 minutes but if Im in the room before those ten minutes and present when my daughters name is called how is that a no-show? Sure the kiosk time showed 12 minutes after my appointment because I was confused about what just happened. I decided after a few moments that I should probably just finish checking in anyway. Myself and another older lady tried to explain this to the check-in lady but she only tried to lecture me about being on time which I am ALWAYS 15 minutes early but sometimes life happens. After this experience I will be taking myself and my daughter to another facility where hopefully I wont get the door slammed in my face!

About a month ago, I made an appointment for my sons check-up. Today when we went to the office, they said the appointment is canceled. The registration lady said somebody called my phone two days ago. Yes, I had a missed call, but there was no message left, so I thought it was a reminder for the appointment. We wasted our time and gas/mileage (40 miles). To make another 8 am appointment, I have to wait until December ( 1.5 month), even though this is not my fault. Very interesting system. We have been going to this office for 7 years, and In general, I would say the service was okay. Most times when we were there, the providers(!) are not doctors, but it was fine with me, because it was just a check-up and my son is healthy. However, scheduling was always difficult, and it is getting harder every year. I am guessing they have too many patients and too few provides. Also, they only open at 8-4. They suggest to miss schools for check-up. I do not like this idea. If you are not sick, you are not missing school.

We LOVE the walk-in side of the practice. It is wonderful to have a pediatrician or close associate available to see your child on an urgent care basis. My only wish is that you had Saturday hours. If there is no appt available in the 3 hr window (which usually there isnt) you have to go to a regular urgent care. Please consider at least a few Saturday hrs for the walk-in!!?? We LOVE Kyle. He has been treating my son for asthma for 2yrs and is so helpful with tips and tricks that he personally uses with his own son. I have always felt that the drs there have our best interests at heart. Big thank you to Dr Hannigan and Dr Colli too for caring for my other children so regularly and carefully. We love these 3 drs especially, they are doing a great job! They dont look strictly at numbers and immediately mark your child as obese when they clearly are not and their growth curve has just always been off the charts. I appreciate them considering each child individually and not lumping them into a number category. Keep up the good work!

The absolute worst and most unprofessional doctors office I have every visited. Most of the nurses and staff already have a complex about themselves and assume the families they are seeing are trash and are treated as such as soon as they walk in the door. Leaving the examination room feels like a walk of shame as you walk by the entire staff laughing and drinking their coffee as they talk bad about the child they just waisted their valuable gossip time attending to. I feel sorry for everyone who endures taking their kids to such a negative minded establishment.
