I have had to go days or sometimes even WEEKS without my medication (medicine i’m told by my doctor that I shouldn’t miss a dose of and that I need to function properly might I add) because they never have it available. Whenever I ask them about it they make it seem like it’s my fault even though my doctor sent it in days ago and I received messages saying my prescription is waiting to be picked up. I would go somewhere else but this is the pharmacy closest to me. I definitely don’t recommend going here or trusting them with your prescriptions because they clearly don’t understand the concept of someone needing their medication on time.
The staff is always friendly and helpful. All the pharmacists are above notch. I cannot tell you how many times they have gone out of their way for me. Rob and Ethan (a pharmacist) are always available and answer my questions. Mary M.
I work at Walmart and get most of my medication through Walmart pharmacy. Its convenient and Ive never had any issues with anyone
I have been using the Walmart pharmacy for over 10 years and I am consistently disappointed, if zero stars were an option thats what theyd get. I will be changing pharmacies asap! Something I should have done long ago. I have signed up for the text alerts for when my scripts are ready. I have two prescription so I prefer to wait for them to both be ready as to only make one trip to the pharmacy. So can someone explain to me why Im alerted to my two scripts being ready, (the texts were sent two days apart), I go to pick up my scripts and one is ready the other is not and no one has any answers. Mind you the one prescription is pre packaged, no counting necessary and that was the one I am told to come back for. Highly unorganized, disappointing and Im not sure if anyone else has felt targeted because of the type of medicine you are prescribed but I have been made to feel that way many times regarding one of my scripts. I am not a pill seeker and I often refill days after it could have been refilled and yet Im still put on hold for this particular script consistently. I will be switching to rite aid immediately. So save yourself the time and frustration and just dont use Walmart pharmacy. The only time theyre friendly is when they want you to do a survey.
I wish there was a way to leave 0 stars. I WILL NEVER come to this pharmacy again. My doctor called in my prescription yesterday.... they said it couldnt be filled until they talked to my doctor... my doctors office is closed, so I wait until the next day... I called at 8am and they said it was being filled... here I am at 1pm and they say it will be another 20 minutes. I have called 3 times so far in the process of this ONE prescription. I have NEVER had this problem at other pharmacies or other Walmart pharmacies. Worst experience Ive ever had. WILL NEVER come back. I only came here because it would have been convenient in my day yesterday. And here I am, 2 days, without my meds. Good job chambersburg, good job!
In this very difficult time, stress, concern weigh on us. I started using walmart pharmacy March 1. You have gone beyond my expectations. I get tx alerts on medications. I ordered yesterday and 3 scripts delivered today. Thank you for your kindness, janis Griffith please stay safe
Good pharmacy but seems like every time one of my doctors send a prescription electronically it never seems to be there unless I press them to really look for it which may be their technology or something but is very irritating but very fair pricing
Dropped off 4 prescriptions and was told 3 will be ready in 25 minutes and a gentlemen said the other will be ready “whenever the pharmacist feels like doing it” because it was a controlled substance. After four hours I called and it was STILL not ready because they were out of it and weren’t going to be getting more for FIVE DAYS. Not only are these people rude, they claimed we gave them the wrong contact information instead of owning up to the fact they just didn’t call us and who knows how long they would have taken to call us and tell us it would be FIVE DAYS. Incompetent workers and pharmacist. Go somewhere else.
Their pharmacists think they are doctors and use their professional opinion to decide what prescriptions theyll fill and what ones they wont. Doesnt matter what your doctor says or does, they must know best, lol. Idiots.

As usual, not enough registers open, very long slow lines. I need to do more online shopping, but not with Walmart. Ridiculous!
I have a very long and negative relationship with Walmart to begin with. But theres only one in this area and its a mile from our house, so it was worth a shot.The store itself I give only a 1 star (see my review). The pharmacy is a little better but not much. Im not sure if this is completely all on the pharmacy or if it is also the volume and difficulty of their pharmacy customers. But theres a HUGE line just to drop off a script. Then they dont store any of your insurance information in their system so when I picked up my husbands script and didnt have his insurance card with me (even though hes been going there a year), they charged me retail and made me come back to get the difference.They are routinely out of common scripts so you dont get them same day. Then finally, the line is super long to pick up your script. I hate shopping at Walmart to begin with, but even if I can waste an hour trying to pick up a few groceries to give them time to fill my scripts, I still have another 30 minutes in line waiting to pick it up. Ive moved all if my scripts to Target CVS Pharmacy on Norland, and Norland Pharmacy behind it (compound pharmacy). I do not recommend Walmart Pharmacy.
