Decent supply of clothing but not the best. Have about 1/3 of what’s available in the catalog. But did have ammo not listed on website. Overall a good selection.

Went here yesterday to get a life vest for my kayak my son got me for Christmas.Had no idea but Gray took the time to help me find one that fit.I really appreciate how helpful and professional he was it wasnt even his section.But he came over and helped me figure out what I needed.Thank you for helping Gary. Everyone was great and the cashier was really nice he help me with getting my kayak sticker.

Seem to have really good prices on most merchandise. Husband happy..got pair of rubber boots for work and a pair if suede slip on shoes. Very nice salesman in shoe dept. who helped us out, used to be a golf pro . The gentleman at the checkout was also pleasant and kind.

We went to visit Santa! Was different this year and so I was a little hesitant. So glad we decided to go!! Make an appointment online last night for today at 11, got there a little early but they still let us go. Santa came over to talk to my daughter and talk with her about what she would like and then walked behind the glass for a picture!! So happy with it all, everyone was so great and the kids got to get a candy cane, picture, ornament to color and a bag of hot chocolate!! This is our second year going and we absolutely love it!!We also looked at toys and they had some great deals on those as well & jackets for kids/adults!

I’ll start with the one positive I have but even that has a drawback: when they actually do have ammo, which isn’t very often even though other stores have managed to keep a good stock, it is the cheapest around. Now for the negative: the guys behind the gun counter are extremely rude/condescending. They all speak to you as if it’s your first time ever seeing a gun in person, even if you’ve been in dozens of times before. (Not to mention they’re not even knowledgeable enough to have this terrible attitude) The guys at the gun counter never fail to find a way to make me angry, and I will not be making any firearms purchases at cabelas again. Go to Dad’s Guns and Golf Carts or Vance outdoors if you want someone who actually knows what they’re talking about and isn’t rude to their customers.

On 7-30-21 around 4pm there was a really nice older man and a young trainee in the archery section. They fixed my bow, taught me what was wrong and what to look for in the future and made sure I bought the right target on the way out. Really great experience and turned my frown upside down.

Have always had great service. I called looking for something and they had a limited stock. I am just over an hour away and ask could they hold one for me because of the time to get there. Arrived and my name was on the item at the counter.

Displeased completely out of ammo for 9 m m was told to come back on Sunday at 10 they dont know how much they were going to be giving and how long it would last they said it might be out by 11 a.m.. by all means one of the most common rounds I believe this is unacceptable

Not much of a camping store. Mostly guns and camouflage apparel. I went here because my coworkers gave me a gift card. There is a small camping section, but the selection is limited.

Ryan in the Firearms department was amazing, super helpful and knowledgeable. It was our first time here and Cabelas now have new happy customers. Thank you Ryan for going above and beyond to meet our needs and listen with amazing suggestions. Very safety aware. A+++

The staff was really nice. That place is pretty cool I had never been to one befoe today. I filled out a rewards credit card thing. Doubt I got it but I got a free hat and beef jerky out of the deal. They had the .22 WMR I was looking for. They had some federal Magnun slugs also. Its a bit of a drive from the house but worth the trip. Ill definitely go again.

This store used to a great selection of fly rods. Not so much now. Slightly better than Sportsman Warehouse, but not by much.

Theyve got about anything you could need for the outdoors. The kids love going just to see all the taxidermy on the walls.

Truly an all-inclusive store for hunting, fishing and camping. A lot of selection on most of the products. Was disappointed however when I went in shopping for a new fishing reel and they are out of stock on most of the selection that I was looking for. Definitely worth a visit for any outdoorsman.

Standard Cabelas store, has the standard selection of fishing and camping supplies, boots, and hunting equipment.Decent supply of guns available plus a little area that has some older guns off to the side.Clothing selection is bare bones Cabelas branded clothing with some Colombia and North Face mixed in, not a good selection of work clothes at all.

This was the first time I have ever been to this location. 5 stars. True definition of a REAL Cabelas. Located in a nice area with friendly helpful staff. Very organized! I was able to walk right in and easily find what I was looking for. I will continue coming to this Cabelas ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Cabelas.Why do you have 13 people at the front of the store ready to sign you up for a credit card and no one ever working the floor aside from the firearm section? Every single time we are there.We had to call the front desk after searching the store for an associate. No one came. My boyfriend went to the front desk and asked specifically for someone to come help; the most disgruntled woman came back. She gave me the boots and walked away, after I specially said I needed a smaller size.Then, we went to pay for a few miscellaneous items and the cashier who wasn’t doing anything directed us to another associate who directed us back to the woman who sent us to him.I’m not complaining about one experience at this point; it’s every experience. The ONLY time anyone is enthusiastic to help is when they think you are going to sign up for a credit card.We’ve been here numerous times in the past specifically for boots and each time we’ve left without boots because (NO ONES BACK THERE TO HELP, EVEN WHEN YOU ASK.)I’ve been to other Cabelas and I’ve never, ever had this problem. Management needs to worry less about signing customers up for credit cards and actually assist customers with their purchases if they intend on making money. What is the point of a credit card if no one assists you with purchases 🙃

The staff is very nice and helpful when looking for products. Just about all Cabelas I have been in have the same layout which only changes for the holidays for the most part. I also feel at home in the parking lot since I have a large truck and it doesnt stand out like at other stores!

Ammo trucks semi daily, if theres no truck a sign is posted outside saying so. If one did arrive the rarer cartridges are declared on the whiteboard sign.

Love this store. Not only because its close to home (for me), but they always have a great selection of whatever Im looking for. I received a gift card for Christmas and just got around to using it. Ive learned Cabelas is one of my favorite places to shop for clothes. And no not just camo, Im talking about everyday button down the front collared shirts (for work) and even flannels (when in season).Definitely recommend checking this location out if youve never been.

Im sure that each store is setup to support the local market, but I was surprised that the amount of fly fishing equipment is very limited. I could find more in a gas station. The rest of the store is clean and has all of the rest of the tools and merchandise that you need for the area. Ill go back to look at clothing, boats, and fire arms.

Three stars feels generous. I waited for 30 minutes in curbside parking. I called the store after 15 minutes and kept getting a mailbox that said Cabelas call off mailbox. I hung up, dialed again, same thing. I called back a third time and randomly hit O for operator. I asked about curbside--that I had been waiting for 15 minutes. The young woman was very helpful, however she said that this extension wasnt for curbside pickup, and that they have thousands of packages to go through with online ordering due to Covid. So, I continued to wait. Finally, a young man arrived with the item that I had ordered. It wasnt in a Cabelas bag, nor did it have a pickup receipt attached. It was literally just the shirt I had ordered. He was very nice and apologized for the wait. I was just happy to finally leave, so I didnt press the issue that he didnt give me a bag or anything. Clearly, they are a bit overworked in his department.My husband tried on the fleece shirt. LOVED it and asked for another one! I ordered a second shirt--but this time I will have it delivered. Thanks, Cabelas!

Its an outdoor/hunting/fishing/camping store. Has tons of stuff. It also has a cafeteria with fudge (free samples!), a giant fish tank with native fish, and tons of mounted animals to look at. There is also an interactive display that shows different animals and plays what sounds they make. 4 stars because when I brought my shotgun in to look for some modifications the employee that escorted me was not careful while handling my shotgun and ran it into a few displays.

Purchased a gun today, but almost didn’t. I dealt with Matthew at the gun counter. He was incredibly unprofessional, and acted like it was somewhat of an inconvenience that I was there.. I was able to get past that (sometimes people just have a bad day) and purchased a rifle. I also wanted to purchase a scope for the rifle, but wasn’t quite sure what I needed. His response was “I’m not really a scope guy”, and that was it. So I googled it and came up with a scope that they had in stock. He pulled one out for me. I asked if they had scope rings that would fit the gun and I’d put it on myself. He said “I don’t really know, there’s a book over there somewhere if you want to look”. So now I have a brand new rifle, but I’ll have to take it somewhere else to get a scope it looks like. Pretty irritated. I’ve spent well over $10,000 in cabelas over the last 5-10 years (I only know this number because I have a club credit card). If you know what you want, you’ll probably be fine. If you need a little guidance, don’t expect it from Matthew.

Cabelas is awesome great knowledgeable staff everything is displayed in a well thought out manor. Take your kids be sure to look around and up at the displays for obscure creatures they are some of the best you will see anywhere the taxidermy is unbelievable its like a day at the zoo without the smell their designers are in a league of their own outstanding and my purchase was a very good deal, grab the kids and go enjoy this beautiful store teach them how conservation really works

We were looking at guns today. The salesman seemed very knowledgeable and let me feel a couple different guns,however he did not wipe them off after me handling them due to covid.

The Centerville Ohio store has a real challenge with customer service. Many of the employees dont have any basic manners such as Thank you or Youre welcome. They act as though they hate to work there. The store manager isnt much better. He is slow at best to respond to any issue and simply makes excuses for his employees.
