Shouldn’t have been surprised based on the poor performance of the hospital.My wife went there to be seen by the OBGYN for an emergent abscess. She was very upset and scared about going through with a full exam. Instead of having a conversation with her about it and easing her fears she was left to wait in a room and heard the MD and the nurse speaking unkindly about her. The MD said that if she didn’t want a full exam she refused to see her and left her to wait over an hour to see another doctor….as a healthcare provider I am DISGUSTED at the lack of empathy and kindness received by my wife. Can we please start holding StonyBrook medicine accountable for their poor performance across the board?! The bedside manner is atrocious.

Multiple cancelled appointments numerous times without telling you. Cant get through to the office when called. Then they dont even send you a bill from the last time you visited. They send your bill straight to collections. Stay far and clear from the disaster office. Its failing people.

Ive never had an issue here. Ive been going here since they opened and Ive never had to wait more than 20 minutes if I had a scheduled appointment. If you go in as a walk in, it definitely takes longer, but they have to see their scheduled visits first. Even as a walk in, Ive not experienced too long of a wait. Maybe 45mins, but thats to be expected in my opinion. Its not an urgent care. I havent had any issues with the front desk...the office manager is a bit snobbish, but she stays in the back office usually.

Terrible unprofessional. Will be contacting corporate office so they get investigated. Nothing but the run around. They cancel appointments without telling you and play games. Now they lost 2 patients. Would never recommend for anything. The drs are good the staff terrible.

Had no issues here. Wait was shorter what I expected to be unlike my other doctor visits. Hours could be a little longer on Saturday and Sunday but at least they are open.

Doctor kochar is my doctor these great Ive had of the doctors and theyre not like him he explained Things You could tell his kind of doctor that cares about his patients I had a medical problem and he figured it out right away my other doctor never even took the time to find out why time Im not I had low diabetes Just by telling a my symptoms he knew exactly what it was Is the great doctor are hoping your beliefs

Was told to walk-in over the phone in Extended Care....once walked in, I was told they dont accept walk-in. I was in severe pain from herniated disc (sciatica pain) and was told that doctor will not see me. NO ONE in waiting room.

WARNING:This is Truth I am bringing a lawsuit against this doctor and the reason is that she malpracticed on me to the point where I have a 99% chance of dying now In a matter of days to weeks I will hemorrhage because she took me off a vital medicine that was controlling my endometriosis tumors for 8 years. She undid what Dr. Lea Card did to save my life. not only that she tried to force a medicine on me that is made from peanuts and In my medical records I am highly allergic to peanuts and chocolate. The other doctors office workers are RUDE and discriminated against me because I am visually impaired from severe migraines and partial seizures. BIGOTRY and Prejudice at its best has cost me my life. I cant do anything about it at this point it is too late I am most likely going to have hemorrhagia from uncontrolled endometriosis and my family will continue the lawsuit after my passing. I leave behind my beautiful cats. I am in the process of looking for a malpractice lawyer. she is a dangerous and incompetent doctor STAY AWAY FROM HER SERIOUSLY if you have endometriosis Dysmenorrhea or PMDD do not TRUST Dr. Jeremias she breaks the Hippocratic oath in every paragraph. Furthermore she had no compassion when I told her that in June I was assaulted, was still healing from a broken rib that is affecting my breathing and my lung is weak from it. I am also still recovering from a spinal surgery where my spine had to be broken and reset and she was PUNISHING me for what she thought was my not wanting to get a mammogram. This was not the case and she assumed and projected the worst. She made a big stink about my needing authorization when I do not need that with my particular ins. company. I NEVER SAID I WASNT GOING TO HAVE A MAMMOGRAM I JUST HAD TO WAIT TO HEAL. I TRIED TO TELL HER THAT I HAD TO WAIT FOR CLEARANCE FROM MY OTHER SURGEONS AND SHE JUST TALKED RIGHT OVER ME HER FACE TURNED BEET RED A SIGN OF VIOLENT ANGER. It has all cost me my health and my life BECAUSE SHE YANKED ME OFF MY MEDICINE AND LEFT ME HIGH AND DRY! This is just the tip of the iceberg and my insurance company refuses to help me now because of her. This doctor is ANGRY and MALICIOUS and does not care nor does she LISTEN. plus she discriminates against handicapped people. I am telling you the truth. if you have the same illnesses I do stay away from this OB/GYN. She is the ultimate example of what a doctor should never be. Its sad really...PATHETIC...2/14/18 I am thankful to still be alive!

Doctor are okay but too much waiting time,they should understand that not only their time valuable appointment time should be followed exactly 11 o’clock means should be 11 o’clock not 1/2 hours late , everyone has planned time

Unnecessarily long wait times(up to two hours), unprofessional staff, and Dr. Chawla wont go out of his way to help his patients.

Front desk staff is very unprofessional. Stony brook hospital shouldn’t pay for this services. Some one should take action plan & solve this issues. Specially When we pay for this service.
