Everyone was so nice and polite and caring! Check in was smooth. Waiting was very short! My wife got to come back and wait with me before they took me back to surgery, which was awesome just like old times! The nurses were so calming and great conversation makers. Dr Faulkner was as incredible as always! The recovery nurses were so nice, and my wife got brought back as soon as I was awake. Very nice and comforting experience for my knee replacement surgery! Highly recommend!

I went to the ER as per a call to the nurse line because I could not even moved due to pain in my leg following a catheter procedure done on my heart a week earlier. It was made abundantly clear that the complaint was the pain in my leg. They checked my heart. Even the paperwork they did listed my reason for being there was cardiac issues. I was told my heart was fine, there couldnt be anything wrong with my leg, and sent home. They did no more than a cursory examination of my leg. Not only was my complaint ignored, but I spent hours there while they checked something I had absolutely no complaint about. Ill never go back. I am just glad I didnt go in with sepsis, they would probably have just checked for hypothermia and sent me home. Not to mention, every person I spoke to with the exception of 2 nurses was outright rude.

It appeared that this ER clinic had one doctor to see 20patients. Apparently this has been the case since the new hospital opened. We were there for over 3.5 hours and saw the doctor about three times as he made his way through the 20 patients. He would stop by, make some observations say he had to get something and be back in 25-30 minutes later.I feel he was doing the best he could but was just overwhelmed by all the patients.Next ER visit will be at a smaller stand alone clinic.

I received prompt, expert and caring treatment. My only complaint has more to do with the organizations response to COVID-19 than the support of the clinicians. My wife drove me to the ER early one morning. We have both been vaccinated and were both wearing masks as we entered the facility. While I was admitted for treatment she was forced to remain behind in the ER lobby. I would have liked to have had her support in the treatment area. Also, the doctor was forced to head out to meet with her to confirm some information I couldnt answer. While in the ER lobby, my wife reportedly was sternly commanded to pull her mask up over her nose by the surly security guard (who doubled as a receptionist at that very early hour). By the way, the guard had her mask pulled completely down but apparently didnt recognize the irony. Anyways, I received great treatment but Centennials COVID policy took away from the experience a bit.

Badly hurt? They need to check... your credit. My mom fell and fractured her arm. We thought it might be broken. We took her to Centennial because it was closest. We were ready to fork over any information they wanted to get paid. They had me fill out a half-page form. Thats it? I thought. They said we couldnt go back to a room with her. When she got to a room, they left my mom in a wheelchair and tossed her an iPad to fill out her own registration. No one told us. It took her an hour of excruciating pain. She couldnt move her arm and her vision was blurry. She couldnt read most of what she signed. They did nothing until the forms were filled. She didnt have her cell phone to call us for help. We were sitting in the waiting room, wondering who wanted the insurance card I was holding.

I had a telehealth appointment. Then an urgent care appt. Then finally i ended up in the centennial hospital ER. I say this as i was extremely worried that there was something serious going on. My symptoms had gotten much worse and i was afraid i was going to die. This ER was less than useless. The doctor didn’t do anything other than order some blood tests. The presentation of symptoms suggested needing to consult with a neurologist. She said several times “this wasn’t her area of expertise” and then did nothing. Since i wasn’t dying right that second she streeted me to fend for myself. This is true negligence. I am looking into filing a complaint with the state. One week later with my symptoms even worse i was seen by a neurologist and IMMEDIATELY admitted to hospital for treatment (not Centennial “hospital”).I will NEVER go back here. This place is a complete joke and will end up killing people because of their blasé attitude.

Be prepared to be overcharged. I spent approximately 20 minutes in this ER for a simple issue and was charged almost $3,000.00. No detailed history was taken, no detailed examination took place, no tests or x-rays were performed. The situation was not complex. Only my elbow was looked at, an ace bandage provided and a common antibiotic prescription written. While trying to fight this grossly overcharged bill, the hospital states because a prescription was written it automatically makes the visit of care a level 3 and a flat fee of $2,969.00. BEWARE!!!**Added comment** The written reply to my post was to reach out but no contact information was provided. I did contact the billing and the Advocate multiple times for 6 months but was never provided a detailed bill. The party line is that if a prescription is written - despite level of actual care provided- the visit is level 3 and therefore costs a flat fee of $2,969.00. BEWARE OF BEING SIGNIFICANTLY OVERCHARGED

If I could give 10 stars, I would in a heartbeat.I went to Centennial Hospital’s ER to get checked out for a sudden and worrisome health issue that was bothering me for a few days. The check in process was smooth and I got into a room in less than 10 minutes. This was even on a Sunday! The staff was absolutely WONDERFUL!! They check you thoroughly and fast to make sure you aren’t dealing with a serious, life threatening issue. Everyone was so kind and the bedside manner was probably the best I’ve ever experienced at an ER. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. They do their ultimate best to make sure you are comfortable too. I was dealing with some anxiety before my CT scan and the wonderful CT tech wrapped a warm blanket around my shoulders after the scan to help ease my anxiety. I wish I knew her name to give a shoutout! She was fantastic! The nurses hands down were the best! They were absolutely wonderful! One of the nurses put a warm towel under my arm after they put in the IV to help alleviate my arm from feeling uncomfortable.Dr. Seaman was AWESOME! She listened and was very thorough explaining the results of my tests. She was super nice, caring and friendly! She gave me instructions to help alleviate my issues along with a thorough print out with all of my test results along with the instructions. My issue turned out to be minor and we chuckled about it too! I was in and out in less than 4 hours.I know nurses, doctors and techs get a lot of hate and slack these days, and I hope they are able to see my review, but thank you for everything you all did to help me!! I will forever be grateful! Your kindness and compassion will never be forgotten! If you are having an emergency and need a place to go, this is the place to go! I HIGHLY recommend this ER!! Only kindness and consideration. The ultrasound tech, Jean, was wonderful. She had the job of discovering if I’d had a miscarriage or not, and thank goodness it was good news. I went here not once, but twice in one week! I had been in excruciating pain, and couldnt eat, always throwing up, always running a fever, etc. they told me I had a ruptured cyst, and that I would be fine even though I pleaded over and over again that my pain was not from the Cyst. I said it was my gallbladder, and that I was in the worst pain Ive ever been in my life. My doctors solution? This doctor was a woman and as she told me I was fine I began to cry. She said my labs were normal, ultrasound was normal, etc. and once I got ahold of my labs, they definitely were not. Well lo and behold Im currently recovering from gallbladder removal (which had no function to it whatsoever and was turned in on itself, dead) AND my appendix taken out because it was rotting somehow. I just wish I was taken more seriously. The only reason this review has any stars is the amazing staff I encountered other than that. Went to Centennial Hospital ER Sept. 10th at approximately 8:30PM and remained there until after midnight. I was told that they were slammed and that everyone arrived at once. While my time there was lengthy and involved a lot of wait time, my only complaint is that I was asked to do my own registration shortly after arriving in the examining room. I was in a lot of pain with a fractured humerus and had not had any meds for the pain. I did not refuse to register myself-- but commented that I could not see what I was reading and signing since I didnt have my glasses. I really couldnt understand why my husband who was not permitted to accompany me in the examining room was not asked to complete my registration since he was out in the waiting area. I realize COVID presents challenges for health care but I do think this could have been handled differently. I hope you will consider this for future patients.
