It’s truly amazing what Dr Tony has done for me. After 4 months of seeing back doctors, cortisone injections and heading toward back surgery for a L4/L5 herniated disk, I went to Axis Health and Wellness after a family member recommendation. During the consultation, I asked Dr Tony to develop an aggressive treatment plan, as I could hardly walk and I was starting a new job in a couple of weeks. Dr Tony recommended dry needling, which I was skeptical, spinal decompression and manipulation. Within two weeks I was able to walk relatively pain free again and within 4 weeks I was back to hiking. Dr Tony saved me from the dreaded knife and I’m now back to my active lifestyle.

My family and I have been going to Dr. Nicholas since my children were in diapers. Now, my twins are collegiate soccer players who have made a lifetime commitment to the care of their spine. Ive been seeing Dr. Tony for about 8 years off and on. When I wasnt living in Denver my first stop was to get my much needed adjustment. Whether its for an injury (car accident, fall, etc) or for regular maintenance this is the place to go. I love Christina and Tony. Dr. Tony and Christina have been absolutely Fantastic. I found myself in excruciating pain earlier this year, the most pain I have ever experienced, and it kept building and getting worse. I have have had a great experience going to Dr. Tony for about 6 months now on a weekly basis. Ive been going to Dr. Tony for almost 2 years. My problems were many--migraines, pain in my hips and shoulders while hiking, and infertility. 2 years later, I still get the migraines, though if Im getting regular adjustments, the pain isnt quite as bad. I can hike without pain. And I have a 3 month old baby girl. I have an old climbing injury that has been acting up since I gave birth, and Dr. Tony has been helping me navigate that as well. I cant recommend this practice enough.

Dr. Tony has been amazing! By far the best chiropractor. I started seeing him because of digestive issues (among others) and I was skeptical but years later I’m still here being seen for maintenance care and feeling incredible. When Dr. Tony took my first X-rays and lined them up with X-rays taken a year later I knew I was where I needed to be. After a year of amazing care and treatment I could physically see the change in my spinal column and posture and felt that difference. It doesn’t happen over night but it does happen when you trust the doctor that’s taking care of you and has your best interest in mind throughout the whole process.

I have a desk job where I spend 8-10 hours a day in front of a computer. Even with regular stretch breaks my body and neck got sore and strained. Six months ago, I was sideswiped while driving my car. Several weeks later, I ended up in the emergency room (where a CT scan revealed I had a concussion) with the worst neck pain and headache I have ever experienced. After treatments with Dr. Tony and a disc hydrator and pillow he provided for home use, I now wake up most mornings with no headache, and my neck pain is 85% better. Axis has the best massage therapists I have ever found. When I was running late due to traffic, they always got me in for treatment immediately upon my arrival. Dr. Tony, the massage therapists, and his wonderful assistant, Kristina, gave me hope and results that I never dreamed were possible for me. I tell everyone I know how awesome Dr. Tony is, but its about time I told the internet too. Last summer I ran into some knee pain in between two big races. My knee kept looking up while I was trying to run. Hes a miracle worker! After he adjusted my knee I havent had any issues despite running a few shorter races since then. I started with Dr. Tony not for back issues but intestinal and other issues! Trusting someone to handle all the pain complaints and making life manageable is always a tough decision. Years of support from my original doc who retired, I trusted my sisters judgment and made the call to Axis. First visit, I stayed open minded and wanted Dr. Tony to work with me and my goals. After just one visit with Dr. Nicholas, I felt a huge difference, and now I am pain free! Despite being pain free, I still frequent his office for massage therapy and the occasional back adjustments because it makes me feel amazing!!! I will be a life long client of Dr. Nicholas!

Ive been visiting Dr Tony for about a year now. He had always taken very good care of me. Yesterday I got my first massage at his office. Alicia did an exceptional job. After moving this last weekend I was sore and banged up. I left feeling absolutely refreshed and ready to take on the unpacking. I followed that with an adjustment today with Dr Tony and I feel completely back to normal.

I abused myself as a road musician for many years, and my lower back constantly ached. 2 or 3 times a year it would completely go out on me and I would be laid up for 3-4 days in bed. I could not even walk around a store or make it to a plane at the airport without needing to sit down every few hundred yards. Tony Nicholas has changed everything, and I cant thank him enough. After many treatments I can now play in bands again, go for hikes,or whatever I feel like doing without thinking about my back. I continue to visit on a regular basis to keep me where I need to be.

Dr. Tony and his staff are great. They take the time to listen to your ailments and craft a plan specific to each patients needs in an effort to proactively address the cause of the symptoms, not just re-actively treating the symptoms. Highly recommended!

I have been seeing Dr. Tony for 6 month. I was having complication with having seizure and migraines all the time. I was having migraines that lasted for days and days. So I Had got into a car accident and had a neck injury. I was the hospital for a week are so and they did nothing but give me pain medicine. So I decide to go to a chiropractor. We did the evaluation and seen whats was going on. Now Im going on 5 month with no headache I also have not had a seizure in almost a 1 year. Dr. Tony has help me tremendously.

I appreciate Dr.Nicholas. I called on a Saturday morning, I could barely touch my toes on the floor, my bone spur was so very painful. I called and he stayed to let me come in. After a few days following his direction and continuing with the treatment he suggested my heal was so much better. Then I ordered the orthotics he suggested and they are GREAT! The toes on my left foot no longer have corns between them, so wonderful. The toes on my right foot completely fully touch the orthotic, and I no longer have a huge blister on the middle toe, it is such a great blessing and I am so thankful. Thank you so very much!!

Dr Tony is great! I started seeing him 10 years ago when I first moved to CO and was suffering from a slipped disc in my lower back and was on chronic NSAIDs and muscle relaxants. I havent had to take anything since working wth Dr Tony. I now see he just for quarterly maintenance and couldnt be more pleased with the service from him and his staff.

Working with Dr. Tony has improved my back issues significantly. I was at a point where injections and potential surgery were being recommended but I got no relief from the first round of injections. Regular appts and adjustments have taken away my back pain and Ive not needed any further injections or surgery. Dr. Tony has also helped with TMJ and neck issues and is willing to see me immediately whenever something flares up. Great office staff and team and very holistic practice.
