Welcome to constantly broken beds, unhappy staff, ridiculous levels of staff turnover, and bad pricing schemes that get more expensive the older the place is. This place is horribly managed. I came today to find them closed at 4:30 when they’re supposed to be open until 6:00 today. Their winter hours are already too early, and their holiday hours have made it hard to go at all. Their holiday hours sign however does not have restricted hours today. No one is answering the phone at their other location either.When you schedule your day around time to do this and drive all the way here, this is frustrating. And based on past experience, their staff will be able to do nothing, the manager won’t do anything, and staff seem to hate working there.Never buy lotion here either, as they mark it up to about 3x the regular price on Amazon or at any other store.Good luck using this place near holidays or on weekends or with cancelling your contract. They make it intentionally difficult.

This place has been closed per a note on the door from the Arapahoe Sheriff department. Seems the premises have been seized and the locks changed. However my credit card has been charged for the past 2 months even though they are out of business. They setup the billing so the CC company cannot block the reoccurring charges so you have to cancel your CC and get a new card to stop the monthly charge. This business is owned by the shadiest people I have come across. Get a new card if you have a monthly billing!

This place is closed, has been for over 6 months. Yet the google people won’t remove the listing. It’s not temporarily closed, it’s gone for good. The owners got a divorce and the building went into foreclosure. The building has been purchased and the tanning salon has been gutted, the sign has been removed, yet google still says this is a business.

I love this staff and the service but this is literally the 5th time I have showered and exfoliated and driven here for a spray tan only find them closed an hour early. FIFTH time!!! Sometimes they also open an hour late. It is now 8:10 and they close at 9. What a waste of my time. I have a life and I need to be able to count on this place to be open when they say they will. Im going to cancel my membership tomorrow due to this. Im over it.

Jamie was fantastic! She took the time to explain all of the different types of beds/lotions, and helped me pick the right one for me. The salon was clean, the beds are fantastic, and even though I came in right before closing, she allowed me to get a session in. Ill definitely be back.

Im very disappointed! I arrived on a Monday at 6:22 p.m. for a tan and red light treatment only to find the doors locked. The sign on the window clearly states open until 9 pm. Im sitting in my car and i see what appears to be an employee moving about and just entered into a room to complete possibly her own tan treatment. Since i signed up for only a month package, do i get reimbursed for the time im not able to utilize the treatments?

Stay away from this place! Do your homework before you spend your money here! I made that mistake and took a chance because they were close to me, only to find out that they are never open! Took me driving across town to another location to fight for them to cancel my membership. So unprofessional and both locations were also very dirty.

Tried this place for the first time today and it was terrible. There was an extremely rude orange lady working the desk. Seeing how orange she was should have been my first clue not to try this place. She clearly had no idea what she was talking about when I was asking her about my different package options. While I was trying to get information from her she was approached by a child which I later realized was her kid who was just there hanging out with her. Poor kids!To say the least, I would not try this place. Suggestion to management, get better people to work your desk that isn’t going to be more distracted with their kids then running your business and who is going to have a better image to represent a tanning salon. Good help is hard to find but this lady was bad.

I love going to tan at this facility. The only complaint that I do have is that sometimes the lights on some of the beds are out & its usually my favorite ones. Its always clean & cleanliness is a big thing for me. So keep up the good work...❤️❤️

I’ve been paying for an unlimited subscription for a year now, and can’t count the number of times I show up here on a weekday during normal working hours (for example, I am here now at 2 PM on Tuesday, Jan 28th, and the doors are locked and the place is closed.There is no sign on the door indicating when they will reopen, and I have to just keep driving over here every couple hours to check. This is seriously no way to run a business. I’ve tried to contact the SLV customer service 4 times now, and no reply.

Was a member for a long time. Unresponsive to questions. I prefer Spray on Sunshine for my spray tans

Super helpful girl at the register. Spray tan came out great and the hydra station clear me my skin.

The equipment is great, clean and easy to use. Love the new spa services! Customer service was helpful and explained my new membership to me.

A horrible way to run a business! In the last few months I have gone in the evening to Tan and the place as closed an hour or more early. This has happened to me 6 different times. Now the last 2 days I have gone to Tan at noon and it was closed! This is extremely frustrating and I am wasting time out of my day and I am having to pay for a membership, but I dont get to use it because the tanning salon is never open when they are supposed to be. I will be canceling my membership and tanning else where.

UPDATE-After writing this review I finally received a message back from the manager for the first time, after upwards of 4 emails to their cs department. She has offered a month of service -no commitment (Yeah right). Obviously the review wasnt read completely. I would never come within yards of this dirty salon, unless I wanted some sort of skin infection.All around awful! This place is terrible in every aspect. I came in and set up a membership this was before I knew what I was in for. After using it several times, I couldnt stand to even think of laying in one of their disgusting beds. Most of the time I would have to ask for a sanitizing rag to clean the bed, because there was still sweat on the bed from the person before me. Anytime I pulled up one of the various girls working would be smoking on the side of the building. There was an employee smoking weed in her car when I pulled up one day, and couldnt be bothered to walk inside and get my bed set-up before she finished her joint. The floors, bathrooms, toilets and sinks were always FILTHY. The stand up tanning bed had boogers stuck to the sides of the walls. Thinking about having ever stepped in the place makes me cringe. So I obviously cancelled my membership, LAST JUNE. As of last month I get a charge for Darque Tan on my account, call report it to the bank, and they block them ONCE AGAIN from charging my account like they had through September of last year. Then, yet again this month I get a charge from Spray La Vie apparently they changed names, and are going to continue charging every credit card number they have ever had on file. If you have recently cancelled, keep it that way, and check your bank statements. The manager who is supposed to be handling this wont return emails, EVER.

*DO NOT COME HERE* This place an absolute joke. I canceled my membership 6 months ago because half the time I would show up during their normal business hours the door would be locked and no one was there. They will never answer their phones and they will never reply to emails. I have sent literally 12 cancellation requests and left voicemails at every location in the city to cancel my membership and every month they keep charging me. Every time I try to walk in to cancel my membership...doors locked no one is there. This place is borderline criminal at this point. They will take your money but they will never shut off your account when you want to cancel. This is to the point where I am going to have to take legal action against them.

Not open during their posted hours and dont care enough to respond to a long time customers complaint. I pay for a monthly unlimited membership use that I cant actually use becuase there is no staff there during their posted hours. This isnt a one time complaint, Its happend to me at least 5 times. Ive been a long time customer that apparently they dont need. They will be losing my membership primarily because they cant be bothered to respond to my complaint. P. S. Their website and this Google page says their open right now. THEYRE NOT.

I purchased a Groupon for this location before reading any reviews. I started reading them today because this is the day I planned on going. I saw quite a few poor reviews and instantly thought I made a mistake. I called the place twice and didnt get an answer, but I showed up for a walk in anyway. I was pleasantly surprised. The place was clean and the girl at the front desk was very nice and helpful. I was worried that there may be an issue redeeming my Groupon but it was easy peasy. The girl at the front desk made sure I knew what I was doing before I started my spray tan and all was well! I would definitely come back. Im only giving 4 stars because no one answered the phone either time that I called (during business hours).

If I could give this place 0 stars I would!! I wish I would have read the reviews on here before ever getting a membership at this horrible place!! Like many others who have left reviews, I have had a horrible time trying to get ahold of anyone at this company!I originally put my account on hold for the summer while I was not in Denver. I did it in person and asked several questions to make sure my bank account would not be charged while it was on hold and the woman assured me I would not have any charges during the term of the hold. HOWEVER, I have been charged every month this summer!!! I called them in June after the first charge and the lady checked my account and said yes I see it is on hold, you should not have been charged. please contact the customer service email ..so I did! NO RESPONSE!!Then, I got charged again in July! So I called again and this time my account MAGICALLY did not show a hold anymore and the lady said there was nothing she could do and I would have to contact the customer service email. After explaining to her that I didnt receive a response the first time and asking her for a number to contact the manager or for her to give my number and a note to the manager to be contacted over the phone, she told me that was not allowed and I had to only go through the email?!!! WHAT KIND OF MANAGER CANT CONTACT A CUSTOMER ABOUT AN ISSUE?!!!!So I emailed the customer service email again and finally, after a few days, got a response (because I threatened to report them) and the lady said she had never gotten an email from me in June. I sent her a copy of the original email and date and all she could say back was okay find your receipt and send me a copy or I cant refund youShe also apparently cant cancel my account unless I do it in person!! Which is a joke because I have sat in the lobby and listed to people cancel and put their accounts on hold over the phone before but they know that I am out of the state right now and are trying to take more money from me. SO I AM CONTINUING TO BE CHARGED FOR A SERVICE I DO NOT WANT!! THIS IS A SCAM!!!! DO NOT EVER TAN AT THIS HORRIBLE PLACE!! THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY!!

Disappointed in my spa package. Old machines half of which were not working. Staff was competent but not what I would call friendly and not knowledgeable about what the machines actually do. The space itself was dingy and run down, in serious need of a facelift.

Worst customer service experience of my life. Every person I and my wife dealt with was incredibly rude. They sell you products, say that you can return them no problem, and then if you try to return them they say it is store policy that you cant return anything. Yet there is no store policy in writing anywhere and it was never disclosed during purchase. A manager is never available to speak to, and no resolution was every attempted by the business after three attempts from our end.

Had a great experience at Darque Tan in Centennial! The girls were sweet and helped me find the right package & lotion for me. 😊👍

I don’t usually do this but I don’t want anyone to suffer how me and so many others did. Spray la vie/Darque Tan is not a good company to work for people are shorted on hours and every pay period going back to the beginning of March maybe even longer everyone’s checks bounced. They don’t offer direct deposit because Tod the owner says it ruins what he has going on. Then we try to contact the owner and he ignores you. To top it off they write hand written checks out sometimes Idk how any of this is legal and or how they’re still in business just blows my mind. Then saying to people you get paid every other Friday but can’t cash your checks or attempt to till Monday and even then that’s iffy because they bounce so much no place will do it which happened to me today and others And now idk if I can even cash my check. 9NEWS (KUSA) I want to get the word out and make something happen this is ridiculous not just the employees get screwed customers will come in and cancel their accounts and months after Tod still runs their cards and people can’t get through to him or anyone to get their money back.

Staff offered a 2-tan special. First spray tan was blotchy and turned orange. When I went in for 2nd tan, just to use my credit and hope for better results, they told me I had no credits, even though I had paid for the 2-tan special on my previous visit. I noticed today, when I drove by, that the business name has changed. Hopefully, the service and tan quality will change with it.

I don’t normally do this because I feel it’s sometimes for the wrong reasons but I’m doing to based on principal. Terrible customer service, not open during posted hours. Random charges in my credit card.

Darque Tan is by far the best tanning salon in the area! No contracts, top of the line products and beds. And Red Light Therapy is the best ever. The prices are comprable, the only down fall is the high turnover of staff.

I was looking forward to tanning again after leaving my former salon over six months ago because I had had enough with the poor service. I had called a few days prior to talk to a sales rep who was super nice and helpful. I finally arrived, kindly allowed several people to be checked in before me as I knew I would take some time getting signed on as a new member. When it was time to discuss my needs I was ready to pay over $100 for 3 weeks of unlimited tanning. The sales rep had asked me about product I showed her the lotion that I had purchased at my last salon. She immediately flipped a switch and rudley said thats not tanning lotion. After exchanging a few words (and she was in fact correct, I had grabbed my after tan extender bottle by accident). She then looked at me and said I know what I am talking about, Dont use that in my beds. I then grabbed my credit card and said forget it. I told her I left my last place due to rude employees and that she was being very rude. Her attitude continued as I walked out the door as she very sarcastically said bye. I wasnt about to give them my business. I am tired of tanning salons that hire rude people and basically make you feel like they are doing you a favor by letting you tan there. I witnessed two other waiters get annoyed with this employees demeanor and I was horrified with the way she spoke to me. She could have taken a better approach to educating me on my product. Not worth the budget price! I will pay more for quality, friendly service. Terrible experience!

This place has EVERYTHING feel good to relax

I came in anxious about getting a spray tan while pregnant, the ladies were welcoming and eased my fears guaranting to walk me through everything, I gave them my gift card and it took 20 mins to figure out how to use the gift card in the system, they walked me into the spray tan bed and showed me how to stand and prepare. She said when youre done call for us and we will make sure there are no parts missed. So I did the spray tan came out and hollered for one of the ladies for about 5 mins. Finally gave up got dressed came out no one was at the desk I looked around both corners of the hallwayay couldnt find anyone. I gave up went outside to leave and both were outside smoking on the corner of the building. Also my entire right arm is streaked very obviously. I went in with high hopes but left upset and disappointed.

Very affordable and convenient for touching up on not having tan lines...

The pictures are deceiving, bedlights broken and spray tan booth doesn’t work often . Seems like there are always new employees and they are learning on the fly, makes you wonder why this store can’t keep regular employees.

The best place ive tanned ever

This salon is filthy. There is scum and hair all over the floor and base of the beds. I continue to be more disappointed every time I go in. All the level 4 and 5 beds are in dis-repair. There are always broken parts, bad or burned out bulbs and the acrylics are broken or so worn out and scratched. The room with the stand up booth has the employees refrigerator in it! I was stunned to open the refrigerator in my tanning room and see left overs and soda. The staff is friendly but they dont know anything about the equipment. My package is almost over and I will never tan there again. It is soooo bad!

The employees will lie and tell you that they do not offer services before they close. I don’t have time for this, and my money will go to a business that has workers that actually operate during there business hours.
