Had some of the best times in my life at cornerstone. Also had some of the worst. Its not perfect. Definitely has its flaws. What in life is perfect though. Made connections with some amazing people across the country. it was a love hate relationship there. It holds a dear place in my heart. Wouldn’t be where i’m at in life without it. Got My ged in the program now attending college. Coming up on two years sober. From living out of my car being a 17 year old drop out, drinking and drugging myself to the point of death nightly. Was 17 when i joined 21 when i left. it was god that made it happen.

DO NOT send your child here, even out of desperation. ESPECIALLY if they’re dual-diagnosed.Their medical staff is under-qualified, and frankly, they have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA what theyre talking about. Most of the therapists only have CAC degrees and were educated through the program. The current leader of the colorado branch, Frank, is manipulative and has a concerning legal history. Cornerstone, and its affiliated “enthusiastic sobriety” programs, also have a long history with the FBI, concerning cases of “cult-like adoration” which they just brush under the table. Speaking from experience, many kids who have gone through this program have left with psychological damage or reduced social skills. This program encourages dependency on others while ignoring the root of the problem/addiction. If you want to turn your child into a cigarette-smoking high-school dropout with dependency issues, Cornerstone is the perfect program for you.Other great alternatives: Children’s hospital outpatient/inpatient program(the most effective for severe addiction/dependency), NA/AA/CA/PA, diversion, and sandstone.

I spent years of my life in bondage to drugs and alcohol. Addiction consumed my life and I was in and out of different rehabs with no success. Cornerstone was the only place that made a difference. It is unlike any other program, and whether you are looking to take preventative measures for your teen or feel like you’re at the end of the road in young adulthood — Cornerstone is the answer. Great experience, spent over 2 years with this program and it changed my life. I know a lot of people who have tried other programs similar to this and from what I hear there is nothing like this in colorado. If youre on the fence just jump in!

This program has been life-saving for our family. From what I have seen it is the best rehab program in Colorado for teens and young adults. The parent support group is also wonderful, and helps to heal the whole family. I am very grateful to Cornerstone and highly recommend it!

Hey, ultimately my kids are doing 540° better than they were before we found this program. And personally as a father I have also made changes in my parenting because of the other parents in Cornerstone. These changes are mo betta for everyone.
