I would like to echo the previous reviewers comments and sentiment. The primary takeaway - if you are serious about seeking marriage counseling services, I suggest that you do your research and look elsewhere for assistance. As opposed to taking 7 months, I came to the same conclusion and thought it in everyones best interest to only participate in one session.Marital issues are complicated, and root causes and problem-solving strategies even more so. Therefore, one would expect the standard process to start with getting to know your clients - not so in my situation either. The counselors were short on listening and quick to assign blame; apparently having everything figured out by the end of an hour session. When I made my feelings known that I felt that a service wasnt provided, that I wouldnt be returning, and that being charged for their services wasnt warranted, consistent with above I was told that I was inappropriate to question and that bills were just to be paid.
