This is a small place but with a lot of items. Probably not a place to pick up everything you need if your getting weekly grocerys but if your in a hurry or cant get to the bigger stores this is the place too go. Prices are reasonable and always a employee around if you have a question.

I love this place, a mini version of a regular HyVee. If you just need bread & milk, you dont have to walk a mile through the store to get them.

They used to have a great college shirt section but its not there anymore. Thats a loss of a star!

Had a 100 dollar bill n the new self check out wouldnt accept it . The manager mustve noticed that we were struggling because before we could ask for help he was already on his way over to ask what was goin on n was quick to give us a hand... And did it with a genuine smile and the best attitude Ive seen in awhile for someone in the retail industry!!!

It was okay. It took only a few minutes I was in and out pretty quick.

I started going to Drugtown with my mom when I was about 6 years old. (I am 59 now!)This store has went through some cosmetic changes throughout the years, but one thing remains the same. It’s outstanding employees!Management obviously knows what characteristics an applicant must posess to become a valuable asset, not only to the store, but to its customers, also.Ive never met such a knowledgeable, helpful and personable group of store associates.Even on my worst day one of them will coax that smile back out of me...They deserve the MAXIMUM” amount of stars that can be awarded, plus one!Respectfully submitted,Debbie Gagnon

This is the Hy-Vee drugstore on 15th avenue and 6th Street Southwest. It doesnt have gas doesnt have a car wash. It is kind of like a neighborhood store. Run in get a few things that you need. They have a regular mail operation there with pickup 6 days a week at about 3:30 p.m. They have food to go but its just usually sandwiches. They have food that you can take home and just heat it up and eat it also. They have a complete stock liquor store and a walk-in beer cooler. On Friday Saturday nights they also have Cedar Rapids Police in the store so you can shop safely.

Most of the employees are helpful and the managers are getting thier own hands dirty,and Bruce one of the managers was there on his day off,and another thing he will find a substitute for something that they might have run out of!He always wants to keep hiscustomers happy and coming back to the store!..

When you need help finding stuff theyre always there

8am on a Monday morning and they are jamming In The Still of The Night by WhiteSnake. 😂😁 👍

A worker there asked if I needed any help and that was nice. Its very clean and good quality and variety.... Getting in and out of the parking lot can be confusing.

I shop at this door on almost a daily basis and have never had an experience like I had today. While checking out, I used my debit card and got $100 back in cash. There was no sticker with the cash-back limit and I made the mistake of going over their limit of $40. The limit at at a Hyvee store is $100 so I got them mixed up. The cashier was extremely rude about it even when I apologized several times. I also pointed out that there was no indication of the limit. I offered to have her cancel my transaction but she rudely told me it was too late. After apologizing multiple times and getting no response from her at all, I thanked her for her professional customer service and left the store. I work in customer service also and I would never think to treat my customers in that way.

Truly efficient for how much the pharmacists do. Personal and professional service. Thank you!

Perfect,a smile in every isle

This was my favorite place to shop. They have great deals, jaw dropping specials, weekly ads, monthly events, you name it. Sadly, the customer satisfaction based values that kept me coming back have faded. Under new management, employees hired care very little and have even less knowledge about the store. My eggs were bagged with canned goods, raw meat, and fresh fruit. I asked a manager for assistance with wine and spirits. I needed.cooking wine for work, but the gate was still closed at the time. He seemed disinterested in my problem and wouldnt help me. The wine and spirits clerk, however, went above and beyond to fix my problem. About 2 months ago this would have been an easy 5 star rating, but this location is going downhill, fast.

Great experience today! We were stopping in for dry ice; manager with blonde hair (we didn’t get her name) was amazing and super helpful! Thank you so much! Definitely recommend. Store was clean and all staff were helpful.

I love this Hyvee on Wilson Ave Cedar Rapids Iowa. The entire work team here are wonderful workers. I feel like Im at home whenever I shop there. They greet you soon as you get out of your car. The Mexican guy I just love him he is so courteous and kind God bless him more. ❤❤❤❤❤

The sales are too short, unless you catch a sale its an expensive option. I went to one store and caught a sale, I was so stoked I went to another store the next day and though the sale was advertised to still be going it was no where to be found :( I went to the store I found the deal at yesterday and it was already over :( The fuel saver program system went down and I misplaced my receipt so Im now out almost a dollar per gallon. These donuts they have right by the door are glazed bread nothing more. The bakery stuff is normally good even though over priced, but these donuts kick rocks. I still use HyVee a lot because its close to me but if Im out and about I prefer shopping elsewhere.

This is one of my favorite grocery stores. Their motto of a helpful smile in every aisle holds true, and its awesome that my kids can eat a banana while we shop as well as get a free cookie from the bakery! They have top quality meat at the meat counter, and their produce always seems fresh as well. I also appreciate their checkout lines because if they get too long theyre quick to open up another lane (customer service is great)!

Pharmacy OUTSTANDING! In the store I always find myself hunting for a item without anyone to help. No worries, I found the canned mushrooms on my own.

My husband went in for Chinese. The person serving had to be told to wait on him. He ordered 2 entrees. She told him he could only have one appetizer (egg roll or crab Rangoon). He had to argue that he purchased TWO entrees and gets TWO appetizers. If a person wants any number of anything they should be able to buy that many. She was RUDE to my husband and to the next person in line also. HyVee if your people aren’t up to the task and able to do it with courtesy, then please get someone who can!!!

One of my favorite stores easy to find items and very convenient

Employees are usually nice and helpful. It has a pretty good grocery selection for a drug store. They also have postal service and cash some checks. They also have a fairly large alcohol selection. The only thing I didnt like was the cop there following me around. It made me pretty uncomfortable.

Love this store! Awesome pharmacists who are incredibly helpful. Also the store employees in other departments are the best in town! They have a pretty good mix of grocery and household items if you want to make a quick trip to the store.

I find the staff are very helpful. Aisles are wide enough when someone is coming around the corner there usually no accident. The food. I get for dinner at work is healthy and delicious from the deli. There is a large choice for snacks and food. Has different departments with specialty food.

Always great...a bit pricey at times but Ive always liked Hy-Vee. Their fuel saver card helps a lot! Watch the ads for the good deals of course.

A great store. The Health Market is the place to go for gluten free goods and other healthy foods. The store is clean and every one there is willing to help you if you need it.

HyVee stores are almost always great places to shop but, this is one of my favorites. The location is very convenient and not too far off the interstate. This location has a lot to offer including Starbucks coffee, pharmacy and lots of convenience foods.

Hyvee Wilson Ave catered our wedding at the National Czech and Slovak Museum and Library on 8/18/18. All of the food was on time, set up was seamless, and it was delicious. We had a buffet style pasta bar, late night snacks, as well as snacks for the bridal party before the ceremony began. Chef Tyler and his helpers did a phenomenal job, and I cannot thank them enough for making our day special. Thank you! -The Piplanis

Great store. Clean and you can always find a helpful employee. Prices are a little high for the area but I assume thats from actually staffing the store with people unlike other large chains that seem to be putting a robot everywhere they can.

Very pleasant staff in every aisle. Although some of the young checkout people tend to tell you a little too much about their personal life. They need a gentle reminder to keep conversations “generic”.

I love HyVee because they have some specialty items that are tough to get at smaller stores. However, they are really expensive sometimes and it makes things difficult when I have to shop there because it is closest to my home. I often dont have time to drive somewhere else. But also, HyVee has some of the nicest employees who are very helpful, so it is usually a pleasant experience to shop there.

Been going here maybe once a week for the past year and havent had any complaints. Huge selection. Love the new shopping carts with the cup holders.

I went in to get pop thats it. I thought I got the pop for the 3 for 9 deal. Turns out of of them didnt qualify. Okay cool Im just not going to get them I dont want to spend $20 on pop. I go to leave and the cashier rudely says wow okay then bye. My not getting the pop at all has nothing to do with hyvee, I wasnt mad, I didnt have qualified items. But there is no reason for a rude comment as Im walking away just because I choose not to pay $20 for some pop. Very disappointed.

I really love this Hyvee the workers always greet me with kindness and as they all courteous workers and the food is always fresh as well. I would highly recommend this Hyvee for yourself and for your family. ❤❤❤

I love this store and the pharmacy is the best. I recently moved to this side of town so I switched to this Hy-Vee pharmacy. I think it was about my 3rd visit and Dani one of the girls that work in the pharmacy already knew me by name and that felt really great.

They have really good Chinese food but it’s kind of pricey. The drinks in the deli are also to pricy, thy should offer smaller, cheaper sizes. The makeup selection is pretty small. They don’t have many toys.

This hyvee has great Chinese and pizza kitchens. Theyre both right inside the front door thats furthest East. The dining area has comfortable booths. Staff is friendly. Always a pleasant experience coming here.

The lines werent too long and its fairly easy to find what youre looking for. Prices are a bit high here, but if you shop while things are on sale, its not too bad. The customer service was good, nothing out of the ordinary.

We moved out of the midwest during the past year and miss Hy Vee so much. What a great local/regional resource. We are coming back to Iowa for a few days later this month and will be stocking up on some of our favorite items to bring back to Georgia.

The store is great! Nice people, quick service, etc. The pharmacy has nice people as well, but they take, on average, around ten minutes to answer the phone; seems like a long hold time for a conversation that takes a tenth of that time.

The friendliest cashiers youll find on this side of town! They are quick to summon extra cashiers if needed and people are always willing to stop what they are doing to help you.

Specific rating for the pharmacy...I had a script called in, in the AM. I went to the pharmacy after work about 4:45 and they say about 15 mins until it’s ready. Fine, I have to do some shopping. I walk around about 20 mins and come back. It’s still going to be about 15-20 mins... this is ridiculous. This happens EVERY time. I’m changing pharmacies and you’ll no longer get my $ this is crazy.

Sometimes items are pat their shelf life and management does not apologies for the situation. Often the same items will be past their shelf life multiple weeks in a row.

Nice clean store, but some items way too overpriced. Fresh strawberries $5.99 same size at Fareway 4 days ago $.99. Eggs $3.99 dozen - plain dozen eggs - Target $.99 a dozen
