We have been to many chiropractor offices in this area and this one has them all beat. They care for you like family and put your health and wellness first. They have always been flexible with any last minute changes we inevitably have with a one year old. They have also recently started wearing masks in the office which makes me feel comfortable enough to bring my daughter with me (especially during cold and flu season). Highly recommend!

Dr. Jon and staff are very welcoming and treat you like family. Its very easy to make appointments, they follow covid guidelines and they always have some cheer to add to your day.Most importantly, you just feel better after being there. They have lots of cool gadgets at their disposal to loosen tight muscles, decrease inflammation and pain, and get you adjusted quickly. Dr. Jon does quick positional testing to assess what needs attention, he adjusts and shows you the improvement. One second, you cant hold your leg up when he pushes down, the next, you can. (Pretty sure hes actually a ninja.) My overall quality of life has improved since finding this practice. I highly recommend them.

I started going to Gateway to Wellness at the beginning of 2020 to address my back pain and frequent headaches. I also deal with high anxiety from C-PTSD, which causes a lot of stress in my back and chest. Dr. Jon is very patient, compassionate and thorough in working with his clients, and he and his team really mean it when they say you are part of the family. I always feel a sense of relief after my adjustments, and if not then Dr. Jon continue to adjust until the problem is addressed. Of the many chiropractors I have been to over the years Gateway to Wellness is the best practice I have gone to, and I plan on staying.

Ive been going to Dr. Jon for about four years now. I first visited him to take care of a pinched nerve in my right arm that was causing me incredible pain and numbness. He worked with me multiple times a week until everything was put back together. Unfortunately for me, as soon as treatment was completed, I was in an automobile accident that knocked me out of whack again. Jon set me straight and has worked on me periodically as I deal with lingering side effects. Dr. Jon and his office staff are very friendly and attentive, and I trust not only my care but my entire familys care to them.

Dr Jon is the best! I went in barely able to walk and stand up straight, and now I feel like I’m young again. He is very knowledgeable and careful to listen to your concerns and he makes sure that all your questions get answered before he even adjusts you. Let me put it this way, every time I visit this establishment I walk out feeling better than when I came in.

Dr. Jon may be a good chiropractor but in my opinion is horrible to his staff. He refuses to provide paystubs, often pays late, short pays, and withholds agreed to bonuses. 7 staff members in 3 years left after being treated abusively by Dr. Jon and or his wife. There are enough great doctors out there to not support one who is not good to the people who work for him. It Is interesting to see a current employee, his book keeper and a past employee who are all treated for free posting 5 star reviews to try and bury the real experiences of prior staff.

I took advantage of the free pillow offer. I received a very warm welcome from Dr. Gonzales and she was very professional and thorough in explaining the proper way to use the pillow. I have not taken advantage of the complimentary evaluation yet, but I know I can expect excellent care when I do. The office is easy to find and even though it was a rainy day when I went, it was a very pleasant experience :)

Very professional and welcoming. Dr. Gonzales took her time explain everything very thoroughly, answering any questions and addressing concerns I experienced with another chiropractor. Also, the neck pillow has been a game changer for my sleep. My sleeping patterns due to my occupation are sporadic, forcing me to try different types of neck pillows in an attempt to get some solid sleep, and this one has done it!

I’ve suffered from severe headaches and the medication the doctor prescribed for the pain was a mere bandaid. Pain pills to mask the pain. I have a small bone on my temple and on the base of my skull that sometimes dislocate and it causes severe pain. I have been going to Dr. Guymon for over a year and my headaches are almost gone. I must of been under a lot of stress lately because on Sunday I had another episode. I had forgotten how horrible it was. Monday I went to see Dr Guymon and he adjusted me. By the afternoon I had no pain. I’m so grateful that Dr Guymon has a gift of healing. The staff is wonderful and his lovely wife is amazing and very kind.

He was very thorough in telling me why my back was hurting and how he would treat it. I felt better after the first treatment! I have just started seeing Dr. Jon, and right now I have realized how horribly bad my spine has become. I have had migraines for over 20 years, sinus surgery, numbness in my legs and arms and tons of medications over the years. I am hoping my time here at the Wellness center realigns my body, so I can start enjoying life again. The team here is amazing and funny. I enjoy seeing them on my visits. Additionally, they do take medical insurance, so if you want to use it they will work with you to get the best deal and have you start living better on day one. I took them up on their offer for a free pillow. Ive been looking for a perfect orthopedic pillow and have tried several. This one is AWESOME & PERFECT! I ❤ that I can take it from my car, doing rideshare, to my bed because its super portable and a great multi-tasker. The office design was great and staff were nice. They offer free diagnostic x-rays & no hard sales tactics on that. Im taking them up on it. I appreciate them appreciating our time and bandwidth and offering such a relevant and useful incentive. Im a holistic practitioner & intuitive healer, myself and do bodywork and Im a strong believer in integrating chiropractic care as a preventive health and effective treatment for myriad things. Dr John is absolutely fantastic! My whole family has been going to him for just over 4 years now! He’s been adjusting both my children since a few days after birth, which he is extremely gentle, and uses his tapper gun instead of doing manual adjustments. My son got a manual adjustment once from a different chiropractor and he cried cause he was being picked up and squeezed! They’ve never once fussed with Dr. John! He helped my son with his spitting up, and then he only took his first steps after hip adjustment. My daughter was born with colic, and you could tell her back bothered her which made breast feeding very difficult. With regular adjustments both of those greatly improved! He also helped me through pregnancy, get back to normal after pregnancy, and helped me after a car accident where I broke my hips in two places! And he’s helped my husband through his constant back pain from sitting at a desk! He’s been a Godsend!

Jonathan is very easy going and it feels like he really knows his trade. He is very transparent about costs and expected treatment time. I respect that he base his plan on actual x-ray findings and not shooting from the hip.

I struggle to explain how much of an impact going to see Dr. Jon has made on my life. I literally would cry at the end of my day due to the pain in my body. Dreading the walk up my stairs. It took a couple of visits but the change was miraculous!! I continue to see him on a weekly basis and will forever if possible. Its not hard being loyal to someone who has honed his craft and knows just by touch where you need help at.He and his staff go above and beyond and you genuinely feel like a family member.

Yes I did pick up my pillow! I got there way early and they saw me right away, discussed how the pillow worked and the issue I was having with neck pain, the pillow was not what I had in my minds eye but I did try it and I DID notice a difference the next morning. Dr. Jon has been taking care of me for 8 years. I have a very physically demanding job and maintaining my joint alignment will has kept me pain free ever since. I - by my own choice - probably use his care more frequently that most would need but find it invaluable. Ive tried other chiropractors and just cant find one that work for me. I moved an hour away now and still make the drive back as Dr. Jon provides the quality adjustments I need. Most of my visits now only take about 15 minutes.

My Daughter is a competitive dancer and has been competing since she was 3. April of 2016 she had 3 weekends of back to back convention/competitions and by the end she had severe back pain. We tried taking as much time off from dance as possible in addition to trips to the ER, Pediatrician and 5 months of PT. We found Dr. Jon in October and within 3 WEEKS she was mostly pain free and was released to start dancing just in time to perform at her final football game. We have continued care with Dr. Jon since and he has significantly helped our family. Myself, Husband, youngest daughter, and even my pregnant step-daughter is all receiving care. When I first walked in to see Dr. Guymon, I was a mess. My whole left side was numb from a pinched sciatic nerve. Over the past couple of years I have been unable to workout consistently after a series of injuries from high-impact workouts. Now, after only seeing the good Doc once a week (twice every once in a while) for 3 months, I am back to working out 4 times a week!! I feel incredible and appreciate all the reminders he gives (like staying hydrated and continue to keep moving). Highly recommend!!

After being told by several physicians that I would just have to Learn to live with the pain in my neck and arm a friend told me about Dr Jon. Since I have been coming to see him.... MY PAIN IS GONE! I am so impressed with what he has done for me. Not only is he great, his office staff is AMAZING!

I have been in Chiropractic care for 25+ years. Until I got to Dr. John, I thought that chiropractic care was going to the office for the same routine over and over. Dr. John uses a different review technique with me almost every time I come in. I am very active and usually throw something new out often. He carefully watches how my body reacts to his investigation and performs the adjustments I need. I would recommend Dr. John every time

Although I have been familiar with the area for years, I have never actually received services from Dr. Guymon. I did, however, receive a wonderful neck pillow for absolutely free from an ad I saw on Facebook. The link was easy to navigate, the office was easy to find and the two ladies at the front desk I briefly encountered were very friendly. Dr. Guymon was welcoming and helped me to address my neck pain. I am definitely considering bringing my whole family to Gateway To Wellness Chiropractic for all of our back and neck issues!

Gateway to Wellness was offering free pillows for 15 minutes of my time. Since I have always struggled with back and neck pain, I wanted to check out this pillow. When i arrived to the practice, I was greeted by friendly staff. Very promptly, I was moved into Dr Guymons consultation room. I fully expected for the Dr Guymon to try and sell me on becoming a patient. I mean why else give away something for free. However, I was shocked, he didnt try and sell me anything. He asked a few questions about how I sleep and then showed me the pillow. He never asked if I wanted to schedule an appointment. So when I was going to leave I scheduled an appointment with him. I love seeing doctors that truly care about someones health and well being without expectations.

As a fifteen year old who has played volleyball for 9 years, chiropractic is a must have when it comes to healing injuries. I have fallen on my back right before a volleyball game and had to sit out a season because of it, but after a few months of going to see Dr. Jon, I am back to normal still wanting to be like Destiny Hooker in hopes of playing for A&M one day. Every-time I go there I answer the question on the white board or ask him for a new question ( I usually get it right :).The staff there is awesome and very inviting. I highly recommend Dr. Jon to anyone including athletes because it is such an important thing to stay in shape and keep everything working right. So if you want a better lifestyle, improved brain power, and just good health all around I recommend you make an appointment so you can start your way to better health.
