Due to the good reviews I had high expectations of this place. I am a Veteran and wanted to go here b/c the main Dr. is as well. He seems very knowledgable and does a lot of testing, but there is no follow through. Here are my hangups: I was prescribed many medications in inhaler forms but wasnt explained which to use and for what. I still am not sure if I actually have asthma. It was mentioned a few times but there wasnt a direct conversation about it. My labs came back with some deficiencies in low iron, vitamin D & zinc. I asked more than 3 times for the Dr. to please put in a script to the VA pharmacy so I could have the VA pay for these supplements. I was told 2 times that he would but it never happened. This is now 4+ months later and still no supplements. I called several times and left voicemails b/c they dont answer the phone often & never was called back to have my concerns addressed or questions answered. I had to walk in and talk to them face to face.I was also told that they would be placing a sleep study for me but never heard anything back about that. I had breathing tests and treatments many times here & feel that some of it was unnecessary but sadly think they look at the VAs insurance and used me as a money machine. As a Veteran we get all the bills that the VA bills the providers and I was in shock to see how much was going to this facility. I may be wrong about this and hate to hypothesize this but do want Veterans to know that go in here - to be aware that you may be exposed to unnecessary treatments and it is important to get answers and your medical records explained.I was under the impression when I 1st came here that I was just getting myself into allergy shots but it became a lot more. The asthma side of things got really confusing to me. The allergy shots are ongoing and about every 2 weeks once you commit to them and undergo the intensive therapy that takes place before the routine follow up shots. Now I have to go back through the VA process and get another community care provider because I have chosen to discontinue going here. If you understand how the VA works you know how exhausting this process is.Sadly, I feel I wasted 6+ months at this facility.

Ive been very happy here! I see Lauren Upton, PA. She is always very thorough, doesnt rush you, and has really great and helpful ideas to make your asthma and allergies easier to manage. Ive been on the allergy/asthma train forever, so Im familiar with how to deal with it. But Ive still learned from Lauren about better ways to manage my symptoms or get better results from my medication. Shes one of the best medical providers I have ever had in terms of knowledge, explaining things and being proactive about dealing with issues.Everyone else in the office is nice and helpful, as well. Theyre friendly and will chat and joke with you like a real human, which is nice when you are going to a place frequently for shots. And theyve also done a nice job dealing with my insurance, which deserves a star in and of itself.Tip: There is a little kids area in the waiting room, which is nice for us mamas who have to take the munchkins with us while we get shots!
