Our Pomeranian princess loves the Shabby Dog (formerly Canine Spa). She plays with the big dogs, jumps in the puppy pools, and generally has a great time. We live them, too, because they are very professional, reliable and really love Jenny.

The owners/managers of Canine Spa, Joe and Bogi are the best. They took such great care of our Schnauzer, Kirby and obviously have a true bond with their animal friends. We called in while we were out of the country on vacation and they were great at keeping us informed. They seem to have found their calling and obviously love doing what they do. This is the first time boarding our baby and now will look at day care when we need to be away for a half day or so as well as future boarding.

The Canine Spa is amazing! I feel so lucky to have found them, and my dog is even luckier. Quality facility and great caretakers. After a year of being with my dog 24/7, its comforting to know I can board her somewhere shes happy to be, and where I know shes in good hands! A+++

We arranged to bring our dog to the facility for doggie daycare. We were denied access to tour their facility which we thought was suspicious. We were told she would have to be assessed to see if “she was a good fit”. When we arrived we were met by the owners. The first question we were asked was “what is her training routine”? We explained that she normally roams our yard and that we rarely walk her on a leash. They explained that creates chaos for dogs. Huh? We thought dogs enjoyed freedom to roam at will. Then we were lectured on leash training methods. All we wanted was her to play with other dogs in a yard and have some fun and exercise. After picking her up we were told she was “vocal in the kennel”. Why was she in a kennel when she was just there to play? It seems that these folks take things way too seriously. We won’t be back!

For a number of years I have used this excellent caring facility for emergencies and for scheduled travel needs. Always --The Canine spa has been responsive for all our needs.Also -- some vaccinations may be administered at the facility.I highly recommend all pet owners to give The Canine Spa at least one visitation to experience the same results as I have.

This is my second time boarding Luna at Canine Spa. She always has a good time with the other dogs and the staff is friendly and helpful when I had a question. I would recommended them to friends.

This is such a nice couple that run the Canine Spa. And very very knowledgeable. I’m a new customer so I have not boarded my pet with them overnight yet. But they are helping me in regards to becoming educated on my new puppy and helping me to train my puppy. They are very thorough, knowledgeable and kind.

I couldn’t wait to share my experience about canine spa, unbelievable beyond my expectations ! I was so impressed by the knowledge and understanding of the behavior in my dog, they were able to evaluate behavior patterns in my dog the day before boarding care and explained in great detail why my dog was ruling over me. They took great time to explain in detail what tools I need to train my dog so that I could enjoy my dog but have an obedient dog.My dog is already starting to behave because of the training tools they taught me. They were like the dog whispers and my dog really needed this not only to have a safe place to be but what’s more important is to have my dog be where they are loved and cared for with great understanding. compassion and time.My dog did well and I look forward taking my dog back for doggie daycare.The prices are so incredibly reasonable !I’m so happy I tried this place!If you love your dog bring your dog here.This is a place I can trust !

Easy to schedule. I was glad they check vaccine records. They also check to assure all of the dogs are compatible in a group. I really liked they were thorough about making my dog happy.

Do not hesitate to use this facility for your pet as they are OUTSTANDING. I have been bringing my Cattle-dog for their day care services for months and recently had to board her for 2 weeks and I felt 100% at ease with her being in the amazing care of Bogi and Joe. We are so fortunate to have their services for our 4-legged family members.

My 6 month old frenchie Gizmo needed some socialisation with other pups. Considering this wierd time I cant just take him anywhere. Luckily they do have doggie daycare opened in my area. First off Im absolutely in love with the employees here. They treated him with so much love and care. I look forward to taking him back next week. While he was there he also got a wash and nail trim. He was not only happy when I picked him up, but also exhausted from having so much fun. I would definitely recommend taking your dog or cat here. Love them!!!

Great service - I love that they were VERY complimentary of my new rescue lab! Gave wonderful advice on some food I need to try. He had a bath and he just looks wonderful!

The Canine Spa staff are always professional and caring towards our shepherd/husky mix. We take Max for grooming (and sometimes day-care) about every 4 to 5 weeks, and he comes home looking like best in show. We highly recommend them!

I think they did a great job, I would prefer live cameras or more frequent posting to Instagram stories or something so I could check in to see how my pup was doing over the weekend.

My pup and I took a few dog friendly hikes through Joshua Tree and on the way back home, we dropped her off for a grooming while we got dinner. My Shepsky instantly was excited to meet them and they took her in. We returned to pick her up just before they closed and Orisa looked so good after her groom. She smelled so amazing and they even gave her a little scarf. She was very happy and exhausted after playing all day and slept soundly the entire car ride home. I’m so happy we found the Canine Spa and so grateful they treated her paws after her hikes. This is a must do after visiting the local parks!

Covid safe experience!!!!I called to get information on the phone, then was able to email all my dogs info to make a client file so that I could bring my dogs and not have to do anything in person. I have 2 French Bulldogs. The older one has trouble with his hind legs and breathing when he gets over heated. I was concerned about taking him but was assured that as they are also a Boarding facility, that Toby could take breaks and naps away from the other dogs. That made me feel safe, so they both went and were happy when I dropped them off and happy when I picked them up.Thank you Canine Spa!!!!!

I needed a cut and grooming for my 16 year old Yorkshire terrier. They were amazing. He looks great and he was at ease. Im incredibly happy with the results.

Took care of my 23-year-old kitty last year. Probably the best place I have ever left him. Maddie (boy kitty) had some medical issues and customer service rep followed detailed instructions to the letter. Maddie was content and happy when I picked him up which is not always been the case when I’ve taken him other places. pet specialist showed me where Maddie would stay which was by Kitty standards luxurious 2 story condo. I was able to check in frequently while I was away – yes I have kitty separation anxiety! I Maddie crossed the rainbow bridge this year but I figured 23 years was a pretty good run. Will post his pic :-)❤️

Ever since Joe and Bogi bought Canine Spa, their service and professionalism has been top-notch. My 3 year old Maltese, Jim, often spends 2 days a week in daycare and every 4-6 weeks visits for 3 to 7 day overnights. He considers the spa a second home. He starts getting excited as soon as we turn onto Perez Road and, although he’s attached to my hip at home, I seldom get a backward glance when I drop him off. He loves being out of his cage and free to play with both old and new friends. I’m grateful to have a place where he can blow off steam and wear himself out, especially when we are housebound this COVID summer.Maya is an excellent groomer. She keeps track of my preferences and is makes recommendations when needed. Not Jim’s favorite activity, but he’s so handsome and peacock proud when they are all done. Never a nervous moment.Jim needs daily medication and his dietary choices are severely limited. Joe and Bogi are careful to keep him up to date and feed him separately.Joe and Bogi work hard and obviously really enjoy all the animals. They are patient and forgiving (when necessary). They pride themselves on being familiar with each pet’s personality, special needs, quirks, which pets get along and which prefer keeping to themselves. Pick-up time conversations often involve excited stories of the day’s adventures.Joe and Bogi are expanding and upgrading the Canine Spa facilities. Recent changes include improved outdoor facilities, with new grass and increased shade so outdoors is a more frequent option in the summer. They are also moving forward with expanded and upgraded indoor space. They have a real vision of the fun and care possible in an outstanding facility. Talk to them about their plans! Their enthusiasm is catching.

Today was my first visit to the Canine Spa with my new rescue pup! What a genuine and caring establishment! One of the owners was there to greet me and was very patient and so helpful with all my questions and to help me get my initial paperwork established for the Canine Spa services.I truly felt how professional and caring this establishment and staff are towards their clients and pets. Dulce had her first day there so far so good. They were right on about her training needs and happy to share and encourage corrective behavior. Thanks for your good care of my Dulce! Dulce has attended average twice a week to go play with other dogs. She comes and goes home happy. Its almost a year and Canine Spa also did the dental for one of my cats. During Covid lock down, staff take your dog/cat from your car and return the pet to your car. Masks always!The grooming services are excellent. It really is a full-service pet spa that takes care of all of their needs.

I cant express how happy I am with the service at the Canine Spa. I have only used the grooming services, but based on their attention to my pets, I wouldnt hesitate to board them here also. I have a rescue with aggression issues and not only were they able to groom her without a muzzle, they were also able to socialize her with other dogs which I thought would be an impossibility. I appreciate their personal attention to each and every dog. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM! Thank you so much for all of your attentiveness and care for our dogs.

I’ve lived less than a year here in Coachella Valley and my biggest concern when I moved was who would take good care of my children’s needs.I used online reviews in searching for the right place and liked what I read about Canine Spa who exceeded my expectations in quality care and love, which is abundant.When I leave my pets with them, I don’t feel as if I’m leaving them at a business, I feel like I’m leaving them with family.

During these tough COVID times, weve been worried about how to socialize our 16-week-old rescue puppy so we started looking into daycare and are so grateful we found The Canine Spa. Today was his first half day and all signs point to major success! First off, hes been mostly zonked out since getting home this afternoon, waking up only briefly for food, potty and a little play. Hes snoring soundly beside me as I type this.Secondly, Joe made us feel so at ease when dropping him off this morning, especially since we couldnt go in with him due to COVID restrictions. Lastly, when I came to pick him up both Joe and Bogi came out to give a full update and report which was fantastic. It seems like Fin had a fantastic time, and playing with other doggos all day was a great outlet for all of his puppy energy. Weve already signed him up to go back for another half day soon!
