I would 100% recommend this place. I had a last minute appointment request today and was accommodated. Nothing but friendly staff and reassuring you that all will be okay. I will definitely be returning for future exams, etc.

I have never had a bad experience with Stanford at other locations until I visited this office. Apparently my appointment had gotten canceled a few hours before I was supposed to come in and I did not get properly notified as I did not receive their call and apparently they had left a message (in a voicemail box that I couldnt access). Usually, thats not a problem as you always have a backup number on file for situations like this. At first, I thought its alright, it was just a problem with communication and I didnt have a problem with it until Heidi, the appointment scheduler who called me, decided to be extremely rude. Instead of realizing that it was general miscommunication and keeping her professionalism, she accused me of lying about my voicemail and had a terrible attitude with me. I recently had open heart surgery at Stanford a few weeks ago so this situation ended up putting me into atrial fibrillation and now I am sitting in the ER. At this point, I could really sue. This kind of immaturity should not be tolerated from a grown woman and I hope something is done about this soon. By the way, were talking about a woman in her 40s giving sass to a 20 year old sitting in a wheelchair. Go figure, huh.

I found Bay Valley Medical Group through my work insurance, and I am happy to have found them. The service from my initial phone call, to setting up an appointment, etc. was a breeze. My child now sees Dr. Ragins as his Pediatrician, and I am really satisfied with my choice! :)

I brought my patient for her appointment. She has to be in a wheelchair. After parking the car, we realized that there’s only one ramp and it’s no where near the parking lot, even the handicap parking spaces. Needs at least another ramp close to the handicapped spots!!!!

Difficult if not impossible to contact doctor. Misdiagnosed by doctor that was available. Had to go to Hayward to get the misdiagnosis. Confusing, anxiety provoking.

Horrific. So disappointed as my kids have been with bay valley since the day they were born. I called 3 to 4 different times on different days to schedule an appointment for my child and was on hold for 30 mins each. No one ever answered the phone. We ended up going to urgent care and then to the ER. Complete nightmare. This is the worst ever. We have insurance PPO and always pay our bills, so what’s wrong here? As a parent, unless you know how to maneuver the system or have the patience to deal with this, I would say this is not for you. It’s not the doctors, it’s the lack of accessibility to the doctors- unable to call and schedule an appointment or even leave a message.
