Worse dentist office over EVER been to. I get being hard up during Covid but trying to slip in services not needed and all of a sudden having trouble getting a hold of my insurance for coverage after already pushing me out, once I called them on trying to over charge me. DEFINITELY find a better place.I was already so so on their cleaning methods. Ive never walked away from their office feeling like, Dang my teeth are clean and feel fantastic.

Wonderful experience,very friendly staff! On time, had 3 teeth pulled and was in and out in 30 minutes! The dentist was so careful and polite. Would recommend this dental office to anyone! Very caring people!

This review is Solely based on the Unprofessionalism Dr. Suda Chinta and her assistant Cassandra displayed during my visit. After 3 weeks on level 10 pain, my Endodontist visit with Suda Chinta was by far the most disturbing visit ive ever had at any dentist. Cassandra, after being questioned about the procedure stated, Im the floor supervisor we have been doin this for years as she haphazardly shoved a xray square into my mouth. Suda Chin, and Cassandra both exchanged casual conversation about their nail color and weekend activities. Cassandra was dressed unprofessionally -red shoes- missing one surgical glove. After i questioned the tooth being different than the tooth i was told had the infection. Cassandra and Chinta both told me that they dont have time to entertain questioning and that I had to reschedule because i had exhausted the time, WITH all of my questions despite my display of pain. Cassandra snatch the bib off my neck and verbally wrestled me out of the dental chair. Chinta and assistant displayed zero investment in patient concern, health nor comfort.

I must say I don’t like going to the dentist but stepping foot inside Castro Valley Smiles has put going to the dentist in a whole other perspective. It’s hard to find a good honest dentist now a days but this office has the best of the best. My experience from the time I arrived with the ladies upfront were very friendly and welcoming to the time I was taken back to see the dentist. The assistants were amazing and helpful! I would definitely recommend to friends and family!! Keep up the good work Castro Valley Smiles.

This place is amazing. I can honestly say I hate the dentist, I tend to go every couple of years or so, but I really need to see one when I started get some pain in my teeth and this place was able to fit right in without a problem. Their insurance coordinator Priscilla was able to check my insurance by phone to make sure I could be seen and from there it was smooth sailing.The staff is great and the ladies always have a smile when you come in. The doctor is skilled and quick, which helps with my nerves. Ive definitely found one I plan on sticking with.I would recommend this place to anyone

Castro Valley Smiles Dentistry is extremely great. All services, from the making appointment to examination and actual care were very professional. Took multiple photos to check my status in detail and Dr. Lee kindly explained my situation and recommended specific tips of taking care of my gems and teeth. 5 Stars to Alex, the Assistant Manager, for following through with an email as she stated she would. I called Friday evening requesting an appointment for a root canal and crown. After scheduling the appointment I asked if she could give me the pricing. She wasnt able to at that time but said she would follow up with an email on Monday with the details and options. It seems like a small gesture but with the busy world we live in today it makes all the difference when you can receive that kind of attention and follow up.

This office grossly overcharges their clients. The front door say $59 for a teeth cleaning. Mine came up to $800 with platinum dental insurance (MetLife). They did root planning, an antibiotic wash ($300 total)and push push pushed a laser treatment that added on $500. I just want braces and they told me they will not give me a referral unless my gums dont bleed. My teeth are extremely overcrowded, if I want my gum health and teeth to get better, braces are a huge answer. But they refuse to help me. The last straw was when I went in for 2 fillings. I was quoted 2 prices. $0 for amalgam (silver fillings) and $300 for white fillings. Since theyre back teeth I chose silver. They refused. Said Ill get Mercury poisoning if I get that, so they wont do it. So why quote me? To talk me into the white fillings they took off $100, just like that, so the new total is $200. Well first filling went alright but my second filling, they realized I need a root canal. So instead they did a temporary filling. I go up to the receptionist and they tell me I owe $200. I asked to put it on my payment plan. While theyre figuring that out I realized, why am I still being charged $200 if I only got one permanent filling and one temporary? So I ask why. Their reply I dont know, we would have to call your insurance to find a new price. So they were just going to charge me for something I didnt get done without calling my insurance. So I call my insurance while theyre doing who knows what. Turns out I shouldnt have been charged $168 per tooth anyway, I should have been charged $65 max per tooth! They made me sit for an hour in the waiting room to fix the paperwork and according to my math Im still being overcharged. Im done with this rip off place. Be sure to check your receipts.

This is a great dental office! Cheryl was amazing with my teeth and I didnt feel any pain at all. If you are looking for a new dentist in castro valley, this is the place to go!

Garbage Experience. They push for unnecessary treatments, No thanks.

I have heard a lot of complaints in the office about Dr. Lee. I believe he pushes root canals and crowns. Also deep cleanings and Fluoride treatments. I told him I was going to get a second opinion on the deep cleaning, his answer, if the second opinion didnt agree he would still have to do the cleaning. Im looking for another dentist.

Both my kids got x-rays done at this particular dentist. I specifically asked them not to give my daughter an x-ray the first visit she had ever gone there and they said no problem please have the previous dentist send over the X-rays that she had just had done a few months before. I had already specifically spoken to them about doing x-rays before her first appointment. My husband had to take the kids in for their first appointment and pain coming home my daughter informed me that they had done x-rays on her to her. I called them and asked them why they had done the x-rays when she had just had them done a few months prior at a different dentist. They went and said to me that it was because she was a new patient. I was upset I let it go. Today we went in to get a teeth cleaning. They did x-rays again basically without my knowledge even though they told me I signed a form saying I gave consent. They also did x-rays on my 6 year-old-son I really do not like this practice I feel like it is completely unethical. The first time I went in to get a regular scheduled teeth cleaning they made me do x-rays because they said every new patient has to do x-rays. Im really upset at this point Im going to be getting a different dentist. I do not recommend this place because every single time we have gone and they have Push to do X-rays and I disagree with that.

Dentist are nice, but the front office could use a class in customer service..... I went to them twice with an emergency situation and they are so rude and do not try and help

Sorry to say I had a very uncomfortable visit for my first time there . The girls who assisted Dr .Lee for my exam did not seem professional at all ! Joking and laughing amongst themselves as I waited for the Dr. to see me . Very unprofessional and inappropriate . Corporate office should start drug testing all of there dental assistants.
