Something changed. The staff became rude and unprofessional. For years they would not budge on making appointments and relied on the sign in sheet. A sheet that is already populated even if you are the first one to walk through the door. I guess you only get appointments if you are part of the in crowd? The manager / owner is impossible and doesnt know how to graceful handle a critique.

I live very close to the salon. I came there to schedule a hair cut only to find out they are permanently closed for business. They are moving to a different state. We wish them well in all their future endeavors

So far ive gotten two haircuts here from different people. One was Jessica and maybe the other one was jasmine. Both are phenomenal and definitely take their time and are patient with what youre expecting.I will being going back here probably for the rest of my hair cut needs.

Been going here for 6 years atleast. Friendly atmosphere the staff get to know everyone and are extremaly friendly. jasmine has been cutting my hair for 8 years and is amazing,and also she is great with kids. Can get busy but you cant expect a great place not to be busy. Vary worth checking out if you have never been.

Walked in to get a trim for my hair. Did not get a hello from not any of girls in there. So I just sat down n waited them they end up calling other people who walked in after me. I didnt even know there was a sign in sheet. So I just walked out. Ill give my money to people know how to great customers

Ive been going to the Cuttery for years, the new salon look is great! I personally see Jessica & she is great at what she does. She always gets it right and she is great to hold a conversation, they never rush and make you feel like part of their Cuttery family. Plan going there well because they do get busy.

This place was recommended by a neighbor, its very disappointing to have poor customer service, even worse to feel unwelcome when others have mentioned having had good experieces at local businesses. It is too bad, apparently it is more important to make customers, rather, potential customers, feel unwelcome than to be and provide a welcoming atmosphere. If you want to give your time and more important, your money and business to an agency that disrespects you as a person, take your business here, there are better choices. If I could have I would have given this place ZERO stars.

Ive been going there for over 30 years, and not once have I gone home disappointed or upset about my hair. The staff is helpful and upbeat, and are all capable of cutting hair of all ages and gender. Highly recommend over any other barber in Castro Valley.

Jasmine is a wizard when it comes to hair! I went to a different stylist who ised cheap bleach on my hair, frying it to the point where it was starting to fall out. I spend one afternoon at this place and boom! Hair is healthier than its ever been.
