I am extremely dissatisfied with the level of service I received at Neurology of the Rockies in Castle Rock. I had an MRI and an EEG done by Dr. Fortin and his team, and it was like pulling teeth trying to get my results back. After weeks of calling (and being told Dr. Fortin would call me “soon”) the receptionist finally told me that my results came back normal. I am sorry, but I was hoping to hear that from the doctor (whose service I was paying for) weeks prior. Waiting that long for my results was incredibly nerve-wracking. Horrible experience.

I had a great experience with this office. Very friendly and helpful staff, especially Anne at the front desk. Dr. Fortin has been a pleasure to work with and resolved my migraine issues. I highly recommend Neurology of the Rockies and Dr. Fortin.

Dr Fortin has been great. I have chronic migraines and he has been diligent with methods to help reduce the severity. As I am limited on insurance he has been able to get all actions approved thus far. A word of caution: because his staff is human and booked solid a month or three out they are prone to make the occasional mistake. But yet so are we all please be patient this is a great doctor and great office staff. Btw Doctors have bad days as well so be patient theyre always doing the best they can to meet your needs.

While everyone was very kind, the office staff was more than flighty. At one appointment, well within business hours, we walked out of the exam room to an empty office with the reception lights off. We came in again for a specific test, in which they forgot to tell us the patient was to be sleep and caffeine deprived. Each time we met with the Doctor was the first time he met us. What I mean is that it was obvious he didn’t look at his patient’s charts before entering the room. We saw him about 6 times in a 3 month timespan, and this happened every time.

Im writing this because I want future neurology patients to know that Dr. Kinder is a very cold and not a very understanding woman. Ive been dealing with debilitating neck pain/headaches for 3 months now and she scheduled botox injections. Her office is barely 5 minutes from my house but due to weather conditions she cancelled my appointment and switched the more urgent patients into the morning slots. Now she wants me to wait until mid-may to see her. Im finding a new neurologist. DO NOT SEE DR PAMELA KINDER

Aside from Anne, the staff was rude and patronizing. Dr. Kinder was inattentive, apathetic, dishonest and defamatory. As a patient and customer paying an absurd amount of money, I expected to be treated with more competence, care and respect than what I recieved. If you would like your physician to value your health and finances as much as you do, Id advise you to seek treatment at a more compassionate and understanding practice.

The office staff and doctors are amazing, helpful and friendly. Ive had the same physicians for over a decade and if I have any say in it I will continue to see them for many more years.

My condition was fainting and poor sleep. Other doctors wanted me to TRY doing this and that. Dr. Fortins first approach was blood work to see what was going on. My T and DHEA were non-existent. Since I have supplemented these, no issues. I am thankful that Dr. Claude wants to address the issue by first finding out what the issue is.After writing this review, I expereinced the same rudeness others have written about. My review for Dr. Fortin remains stellar. The staff however needs to learn how to deal with patients (Customers) in a more professional manner!!!

Was scheduled for Oct 12. Got a call 2 weeks ago they had an opening on oct 3. Arrived oct 3 and nothing on schedule. Turns out they scheduled for sept 26. The dr has to be consulted IF they will reschedule. Ive waited nearly 6 months to be seen. My seizures are increasing in frequency (from nothing for 16yr to about every 3 months). Punishing the patient for the miscommunication of the drs staff is unreasonable.
