Past chiropractors have told me I am very difficult to adjust because my muscles are chronically tight. Dr Scott is extremely knowledgeable and his techniques are very effective on me. Pregnancies. Mine were dreadful! During both of my pregnancies, I suffered from preeclampsia, tachycardia, and gestational hypertension, as well as bleeding. To top it off, my babies remained breech until nearly 37 weeks; the thought of c-sections due to their positions was paralyzing. I researched alternative options and explored chiropractic prenatal care. One method that sounded attractive is the Webster technique, which helps loosen ligaments and encourage the baby to flip on its own without needing an ECV (the process of manually flipping the baby, which doesnt have great odds and includes risks I was unwilling to take). I decided to try chiropractic and scheduled my appointments the day before each of my ultrasound appointments (1-2 times a week towards the end). Under the care of Dr. Harford, both of my babies flipped and were in their correct positions for natural deliveries. For that alone, I can never thank him enough! Fellow mamas, if you have a breech baby—or simply are suffering from the inevitable pregnancy back pain—contact Dr. Harford! Hes a practitioner who I trusted to take care of not only me, but my sweet buns in the oven. I am forever thankful for Dr. Harfords help!
