A little nervous, I entered the office of Accent On Hearing for the first time to have my hearing tested. My nerves were calmed immediately by the friendly, attentive assistant behind the desk. Dr. Liz took me in to the sound booth fairly quickly and explained the test procedure very well. After the test, she took the time to be detailed with the results and a plan of action. The nervousness was replaced with a feeling of satisfaction that I had found an audiologist that was a good fit for me!

Great experience . Had problems with my hearing aides and about to travel. They fit me into their schedule and gave me a loner pair while mine are being worked on.

I needed new hearing aids last year. After some research, I chose Accent On Hearing. Joanne and her team are excellent. Joanne went over all of the different options with me, and listened to what I wanted/needed. I used my insurance, and they did all of the work to process it. Every time I go back for cleanings and check ups, the service is still great.

Very thorough examination, recommendations to treat my tinnitus and high-frequency hearing loss. I never felt hurried during the examination. I went home with a pair of hearing aids to evaluate how they worked. The follow-up was the only place I could ever so slightly complain - I felt somewhat unprepared to make the decision to buy the hearing aids but again, I was not rushed nor pressured into a decision. Overall, Im very happy with the staff and treatment Im receiving. And no magic vitamins!

My hearing has been more challenging as of late, so I went in to see Dr. Elizabeth Martinez and we did a hearing test, discussed the options and decided on an option. The next step was to work through the insurance and costing. The office financial person was very helpful in getting me to understand the various options and how the insurance end of things works. I had been to a couple of other offices where the only thing I left with was total confusion about the insurance end of things. After we worked through the insurance end, I received my hear aids and have been wearing them for a couple of months. Elizabeth has been very helpful in adjusting them and helping me find just the right arrangement so they work for me. Accent on Hearing has a good focus on the service end of this business and is very personable for an area that can be sensitive for some. Thanks for all of your help.

I have had hearing aids for a little over 3 years from Accent on Hearing. I recently realized that I was experiencing increased tinnitus. Made an appointment with Joann to do hearing tests and tinnitus screen. Tried a mini microphone to stream white noise to my old hearing aids but that didnt work. Made an appointment with Liz to get new Resound Lynx 3d aids. I was fitted with them today, Feb.21 2018. What a difference! The tinnitus manager is wonderful!! Everyone in this office is so friendly and helpful. The were no time constraints. They answered all my questions. I would highly recommend this office to anyone with hearing issues.

I had a hearing test elsewhere and then came there for a second opinion. They did a hearing test and ordered some hearing aids. Their sales pitch was pressured and they did not offer me specific information on different types of hearing aids, instead pressuring me to buy the most expensive option. They looked up my insurance ahead of time and were primed to get the most out of the insurance benefit and also billing me three thousand dollars additional. I went to Sams Club, got a free test, a comprehensive evaluation, a look at all of their hearing aid options and found that they have free followups, unlike this place which would charge for followups. I cancelled my order for the hearing aids from Accent on Hearing and bought the ones from Sams which were custom fit. I am very happy with them and the service. I am now fighting with my insurance company to get reimbursed for my hearing aids that I actually purchased and having a hard time because Accent on Hearing billed my insurance company and received payment for the cancelled hearing aids that I never received. They received over 4 thousand dollars and I called them and told them about it. They claimed they would submit a corrected invoice and they never did. Three months later I am still on the phone with my insurance company to get their fraudulent claim off the books and be reimbursed for my actually purchased hearing aids. Steer clear! They will take all they can get from you and are not honest. I am now reporting them for fraud.

We went the cheap route the first time and bought Costco ones and they were so uncomfortable that he just stopped wearing them.Accent On Hearing put him in three different sets of hearing aids before his sensitive ears decided on the third pair and he loves them.Dr. LaPorta is very sensitive to her patients needs and does everything she can to make sure they are comfortable with their purchase answering every question and never rushing the process. Very disappointed, although I felt the exam was good there is no conversation about needs, options or anything else. High end hearing aids seem to be their thing. Be aware that you will need to push for more information and options.
