10/27/2021Well I had to come back and edit this post. They did it again. Now they have decided I picked up a prescription that I never did. Which wouldnt be so bad if I didnt need to have it filled now and am unable to because they say it is too soon. So now they claim I had it filled and I did not.If they do they for this one prescription, how many others have they done this too?I have been using Safeway for a very long time. Recently I changed insurance and gave all of the info to Safeway. I used them for about five months getting my meds there only to find out they do not take my insurance. Wouldnt it have been great to have been told that when they were inputting the insurance info?Update: They do take my insurance, they just put it in the system wrong. So now I am moving all of my prescriptions to Banner Pharmacy.

Slow service. Rude to customers. Prescription is never ready when they say it will be. I have been told that I don’t have insurance when I do and I am requesting a refill for a med that they have previously filled. When their customer service is challenged, they blame the customer. One staff member bashed my husband while on the phone with me blaming HIM for our insurance not paying. Their automated text system for refills doesn’t work. I got a text message saying my script was ready to pick up 3 days after I picked it up. Called in a refill on a med, showed up 4 days later for pick up and it wasnt ready. This has happened more times than I can count. They dont have answers for errors when they happen, their staff dont even know how to read their own computer system. One staff member didnt know what Medicaid was. NEVER am I going there again.

Called this morning to see if my prescription was sent and Sarah who answered my call was extremely rude and disrespectful. She didn’t even answer my question she totally avoided it and just said your prescription will be done by 12 and did everything possible to get me off the phone.I’ve never been treated so rudely by anybody there like this before. The only people that actually saved me from switching my prescription going to another pharmacy was Donna who is absolutely amazing and Alanna. Something needs to be done about this because Sarahs customer service was absolutely terrible.

I absolutely love the caring, patient, and kind family staff at Safeway Pharmacy. They truly care about me and others. Its a job that requires unique people because I personally couldnt handle the intense stress levels because people want service now and the pharmacy staff follow providers and insurance directios. They are limited in what they fan do.They go way beyond to help the customer the best they can!!KUDOS TO MY PEEPSGod Bless You

Very dissapointed waited over an hour just for them to tell me they still have to figure things out. Asked for the prescription back and went to walgreens where it took them 5 minutes to help me and get me my meds safeway just left my prescription on the bottom of a pile they werent even working on
