I would have given 5 stars had the girl with the blonde hair at the front been a bit more kind and understanding, but the rest of the staff was fantastic! Mostly a very nice crew and they were quick to accommodate my emergent appointment! Paige was so super nice, I really appreciate her!

Appreciated how quickly they scheduled me an emergency appointment the same day. Everyone was kind and friendly. The decor was not fancy; it looks like they spend their money on equipment. The doctor reviewed the images with me an explained everything in a way I could understand.

My appointment was made easily at the facility. I received several reminder calls and texts for my first appointment. The appointmemt day, I was taken in on time, no wait. The examinations were performed on both eyes to confirm my needs. The technicians were professional, courteous and congenial Dr Petersen and his assistant examined my eyes, explained the procedures to me and answered all my questions. Next was the scheduling for my procedures. Again, the technician was concise, and the schedule was set for the next month. I am looking forward to the completion of services and clear vision once again!

Everyone at the office-receptionists, techs, and optometrists- were so helpful, kind, and very professional! The technology used was state of the art. Wait times are too high and they take you from one waiting room to another just to wait even longer.

Claudia the young woman who performed my eye exam was very friendly- professional- & genuinely caring. She did a very thorough job and I felt very confident.Dr. Peterson was a delight to meet also. He is very knowledgeable and down to earth. He took time and answered any and all questions and concerns I had.I do however wish the facility being as large as it is could make some kind of arrangements to have those who are providing patients with transportation an option of waiting inside instead of being required to leave the building.

Ive had nothing but good things to say about my time spent with the Eye center and Dr. Peterson. My cataract surgery was a challenge for him because of some minor issues but all went well and my anxiety level was at an all time low. Keep up the good work.

Having relocated from Nevada and leaving the best eye care doctor behind, I was looking for excellent care again. My first visit went very well; pleasant and knowledgeable staff; good care; state of the art equipment. Doctor Jackson was thorough and answered all my questions. Fortunately no additional care needed at this time but I will be back next year!

A couple of months back I went into Southwestern Eye Center in Casa Grande for a complete medical eye and optical exam for new prescription lenses. I had been in a couple of years earlier for the same and had a good experience. However, this time (my most recent visit) was anything but. To start with, the front desk hassled me over not having the correct insurance card(s) when I came in - but I did have the correct card (which was the same card I had two years earlier, it was fine then and should be now). After going a few rounds about the card they finally conceded and had me sit down. When my name was called I was then escorted to a room where an intern took my optical exam for the lenses as another staff person sat in a chair and observed. The intern seemed unsure and somewhat hesitant of the process (which was not of great comfort to me). When it was over I had mentioned to the person who had been sitting in the chair that I was not confident in the results of that exam. It was then that she mentioned that the exam person was an intern (I had a detached retina several years back which needed surgery in addition to high pressure in one eye and now the start of some cataracts in both eyes). As an older man, I feel at this point in my life especially with my eye history, I need someone with good solid experience (preferably an ophthalmologist) for the eye exam and at least an optician for the lens prescription. I was then escorted to another room where an optometrist took my eye exam when I mentioned to him that I was not confident or satisfied with the previous exam for prescription lenses. At that point he appeared put out or inconvenienced by it all and took another very quick lens exam which again, didnt do much to install any confidence. He told me theres a 90 day warranty if Im not satisfied as the replacement for what should have been a quality exam in the first place. With new glasses likely costing hundreds of dollars this was of little comfort. Bottom line is: Make sure youre receiving the experience (and quality) of what you should be getting... that theyre getting paid for!

On my initial exam: 1) the front desk, though busy, moved things along quickly and were quite friendly and helpful; 2) the next portion was with a very thorough young lady who took pressure checks, checked my glasses vs my current vision and dilated my eyes - she was lovely; there was a short wait while my eyes adjusted to the dilation; 3) I met Dr. Peterson and after going over my information he did an additional exam - I had heard good things about him from others that had surgery with him; 4) I saw the individual who spoke to me briefly about cost options, the amount of time the surgery would take and things to expect - she also set my date to have my corneal measurements, my surgery dates & post-op dates - she was also extremely professional and kind.On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best I would rate them a 10. Im not joking...in todays world of medicine which is seriously controlled by time restraints They Were Amazing. Now well see how the surgery goes.

I was very impressed with all of SEC. From the front desk staff to the nurses and doctor. Was treated with respect, kindness and most important they took the time to answer questions and concerns. I would highly recommend SEC. to anyone looking for a good eye center. Thank You 😊

The wait is ridiculous! Place was practically empty when I arrived, but still had to wait more than 2 hours. Employees gossiping, and complaining about patients coming too early for appointments. Also my appointment was slowed due to on the job training of interns. They had me wear some glasses which I don’t use regularly for my exam (weird). Someone was practicing on me, which the person did great, but I just wanted my eyes checked correctly so I could leave. Dr Walker is pretty good, but no one is in a hurry, especially to do testing. No one knew who was responsible for taking me back for a second round of tests, causing more delay. The quality of care has declined over the years. I do appreciate the policy on only the patient being in the facility and continued mask wearing during this pandemic we’re still in. But I wish there was more options for eye care in Casa Grande.

Dr. Michael Rollins is an excellent physician who obviously cares deeply about the welfare of his patients eye care. He listens carefully, answers thoroughly and is professional without being cold. I give him and Southestern Eye Center an A+ all around.

I went in for a laser surgery and the doctor explained it to me very well so I could understand what the procedure was all about they kept me calm through it I would recommend Southwest Eye Center to anybody they are good place to get your eyes done they take care of their patients they care about him so you ever need your eyes checked thats the place to go dr. Lewis is amazing he is the one that did my eye procedure in both eyes so thanks to him my eyes are better

My wife had an appointment at Southwest Eye, we walked in wearing a .mask, which they require.At that moment I was approached,do you have an appointment? I told the girl I was waiting for my wife.The receptionist told me that I was not allowed in the facility with or without a mask. I told her I was an advocate for my wife.i said that ortho Arizona would allow one person with patiient.They need to upgrade their policy ! The masks have proven invective. Most people have gotten their Shots. The Mask Mandates have been lifted STOP this Ridiculous crop! If you have the FEAR, thats your choice, but dont try spread the fear to othersGET A LIFE !!

I found Southwest Eye center to be a comfortable place to go. I traveled 15 miles to get there and was a little late, but was graciously told that they would work us in. And so they did. All the eye checks and then the final check with the doctor went swiftly and I was given some good news. That was wonderful too. Everyone was kind and gracious right through to our departure. I find it worthwhile to travel to get such good care.

I didnt have to wait for the next nurse to call me. I enjoy being there at Southwestern eye center, everybody is very good and professional and very nice place to be there.

My first visit to center was absolutely smooth and professional! Although my diagnose was not favorable, I trusted Dr. Jackson’s treatment plan and summary of my condition. I totally enjoyed medical assistant Gabby. She made me feel comfortable and answered all my questions. She made me laugh and thus I was in a relaxed state when doctor came in to give me results of tests and scans. Front desk staff was friendly and professional as well.

My husband had an appointment, I go in with him because he cant see, when it was his turn to see the Dr. A receptionist told me to stand at the door instead of seating down in the extra chair now why is that when they had 2 patients in the same room in an other area.

Dr. Garcia and staff treats you with respect, they were very friendly willing to help and explain you procedures in step by step detail like a child would understand, like before snd after they performed the surgery.

Southwest Eye Center has some of the best staff! Both doctors and assistants are very professional, friendly, and efficient. The assistant Grace took care of me when I first came in and did all my vitals and was so very pleasant!! I DO NOT and WILL NOT recommend Southwestern Eye Center to anyone, not even my mother in-law.I went to get glasses at a local business. They could not get a good vision reading on my eyes, to determine the prescription needed.Local business sent me to my primary to check for diabetes and other issues. Also sent me to Southwestern because they said, Southwestern has better equipment and do this all the time.I went in to Southwestern Eye Center, staff was nice. Dr did my exam. Couldnt get good readings on my eyes. After several attempts of not getting a good reading on my eyes, he got frustrated. Cancelled the exam and said that I wasnt there for the exam anyway, it was for other issues with my eyes. The Dr then tells me, he sees no issues with my eyes and sends me on my way. This was back in August. This is October and I still do not have good vision.This is true and if SEC has an issue with my post, they can contact me directly. My name is at the top of this post and they have my personal info on file.Its time businesses and the people they employ, start being held accountable, instead of making money off the backs of hard working people.

I bought eyeglasses at Southwestern Eye Center in Casa Grande 4 weeks ago. I picked them up last week. They would not stay on my face so I went back to have the ear pieces adjusted.As I pulled open the front door, I was met by a young female who very rudely told me to wait outside! At age 74, I don’t like rudeness and I told her so. She continued to tell me to wait outside but again in a very rude way.Now the “office manager” came out and acted the same way. 3 ladies outside with me (all 3 in their 60’s and NOT in line) also commented those employees are rude. Another customer (a male about 50) wanted to just pay his bill and he also was treated rudely!They called the police on me! The police came and of course said I could leave as I did nothing illegal (after they talked to the manager).I was told not to return!! Of course, I won’t be back, but I felt potential customers should be made aware of their attitude!

Was seen by Dr. Aaron Petersen for a growth that is forming on my right eye. Dr. Petersen examined and checked the growth and determined that it had not changed since I was last seen at the Center, (approx. 5 months). Dr. told me that unless I was to develop problems in that eye, to come back in one year for another exam.I have to say, I was very impressed with the care I received by all of the staff at Southwestern Eye Center. From the check-in process to my visit with the Doctor, all who were a part of this were great.

I never had to use eye Dr. Except for glasses..but my optomolog Dr. Referred me to Southwest Eye Clinic because I had glucoma which I never had before.. they were very professional and through..pleasant in every way. I needed a laser surgery to help prevent blindness due to the disease. And provided great professional service and follow up. Recently had cataract surgery at Southwestern Eye center. Surgeons and Optometrists were excellent took time to answer all questions. I am still in the recovery process on one eye which so far has gone from being legally blind to 20/50.Recommend this place

The complete staff at the center was outstandingEveryone from when I walked in the door until O exited. Dr. Garcia is nothing less than a Professional. Not only that she is a beautiful woman. Sweet and kindI wanted to take her home with me.

I had my visit yesterday 21st of October, I have been going to SEC for several years now.I must say SEC staff were fantastic from the front desk, the guy that did my testing was also friendly, polite, & very professional, he wasnt a stick in the mud...🙂 & the Dr. was Great i had some questions for him, that he answered for me, very professional. I would definitely recommend SEC, as a matter of fact I did, my daughter also goes there & she has been to other eye clinics before going to SEC & wasnt satisfied, she has been with SEC now for 3 years. I got a piece of metal stuck in my eye. I called southwestern eye center to see if I could get an appointment. They scheduled me an appointment immediately.The anticipation of something being removed from my eyeball was quite nerve-wracking. Their procedures of getting this done are amazing.There was no pain of any sort just a quick procedure and on my way out the door I would recommend them to anyone. It took 1.5 months to get appointment for my annualDiabetic eye check up. Once there everything ran smooth from intake along with Covid protocol.Very professional staff Dr. Jackson was spot onOnly thing I found troubling , I asked for a new prescription to get glasses as my vision has changed. Being from Maricopa, 45 minutes away. I was told to schedule a new appointment for that! ReallySo Ill be getting a new prescription with new glasses from a different establishment!

Something got in my eye on Friday. After failed treatment at an Urgent Care over the weekend and continued swelling, pain, and watery eye, I luckily was able to be seen at your clinic on Monday. Dr. Rollins flipped up my eyelid and found a piece of cactus with a barb. Instant relief!! So pleased with care I received and staff!

Dr Jackson is a great Dr. I have dry eye and every time I go to him he has something new for me to try. He really stays up to date on dry eye treatments. Always gives a very thorough eye exam. I would highly recommend.

Had really bad swelling and pain in my right eye, I was able to get in right away. All Im outside the staff was amazing and so helpful. They had to do quite a few tests on my eyes and figured out what was happening. The doctor was great as well very understanding and didn’t want me to leave without finding out what was going on. Not the best experience! We had an appointment back in June due to my schedule I had to reschedule my moms appointment. The next available appointment was in October. That wasn’t the issue. We get to the building first thing I noticed was their office wasn’t handicapped friendly. There isn’t a wheel chair ramp near their office there is one in front of the office next to them. My mom was using her walker and on oxygen those extra few feet may not be much for most but for my mom it makes the world of difference. We didn’t have to wait long to be seen. Once we were seen it was like a maze. We went through maybe 4 different rooms for different tests. Had I know I would have brought her wheelchair. Again we encountered an unfriendly environment for the handicapped. Each of these test required my mom to sit in different chair which were difficult for her to get in and out of due to her disability. The worst part was after being seen by the doctor she didn’t get a new prescription. I asked at the checkout desk she said it doesn’t look like it. The doctor didn’t prescribe one and since they gave her a glaucoma test she won’t be able to get the eye exam today. I mean common sense would tell you do the eye exam first then do the glaucoma test. So now she has to come back a second time and pay another copay. We definitely won’t be back. There’s plenty of places she can go.

Good staff works here from the covid 19 greeter to the fémale staff registering you in.As well as the friendly eye Drs (optometrist/Ophthalmologist) to the other friendly staff. I felt safe as the Dr worked on my eye.
