The dr and atmosphere was great! The only thing that made me feel uncomfortable was the receptionist, she was very rude to begin with. While filing out my forms I needed to make a call for me to fill the form out and she sat there and tapped her nails on her desk as if I was holding her up from her busy day meanwhile when I walked up to return my forms she was on her phone on Snapchat. Other than her attitude the service was great.

Great atmosphere except the young lady at the front desk. Not so friendly! 🙁

Have seen Dr Wheeler several times and is an awesome Dr takes time to listen to your aches and pains... however the receptionist is rude and NOT a very good receptionist! She is an older woman with short dark hair who sat and talked on her cell ph taking a personal ph call while I waited for my appointment. I heard the clinic ph several times and listened to her put them on hold while going back to cell ph! 7 minutes on hold (yes I timed it) she tells the person on hold I need to get back to these ph calls Ill call you back later and she goes back to these poor people whom have been on hold and says Thank you for holding how can I help you?? Sierra Orthopedic is a good place I would hate for them to get a bad review because of a receptionist who cant do her job

I have had shoulder surgery and just recently hip surgery.I would recommend dr. Erickson to anyone. I had surgery for my hip recently and was walking the next day. He explained everything he was going to do so I was well informed.I am continuing to walk better every day and have gone to therapy 3 times.As for my shoulder surgery he had a lot of work to do on my muscles and tendons that had damage to them.It took a while to get better but today I use my arm and shoulder with no pain.I find the receptionist to be average but the PAs are great and anytime I have a problem I have been taken in within a day or the same day.I have high regard for this business and the people who work there

I saw Eric Wheeler on 3/27. He recommended viscosupplementation therapy. Today is 7 weeks since my last appt. and I still do not have approval on the treatment. Ive tried going in person, called many times to follow up, and according to their front office staff no one seems to know what is taking so long for the approval on the therapy. The pharmacy is pointing fingers to Sierra Orthopedics and Martha from Sierra Orthopedics is saying, hmmm, I dont know what they are talking about. As a patient, you will have to be very proactive, call frequently, and make sure you are not forgotton about. They have no process in place to follow up on pending pharmaceutical approvals...they just let these outstanding cases die on the vine. My experience with Dr. Wheeler was positive. He seemed very forward and to the point with my options. Their administrative processes they have in place need to be reviewed and updated to better serve their customers.

My husband has had rotator cuff surgery, knee maintenance and currently had carpal tunnel performed by Dr. Erickson and his staff. It has always been a very professional experience and my husband refuses to go anywhere else. He is currently in the VA Choice program and has never had a problem getting treatment.

I Went there because my knee keeps popping out of place. This was about 6 months ago. They were to schedule me for an mri. They said they would call to get me scheduled. I AM STILL WAITING,!So I call to get my X-rays because I am going to see another orthopedic dr. They said come in and sign a release and I could have them. I get there and they tell me to fill out the form and they would call me when they are ready. I am still waiting on phone call. My appt. is tomorrow in another town. Another thing they do not follow through on. I would not recommend them for anything.They do not follow up with anything they tell you. Staff at reception is fairly rude.

I like the staff. They are all very friendly and I have worked for C.G. Regional Medical Center in the 90s for six years. Dr. Erickson is a wonderful surgeon and I would recommend him to anyone who needed surgery.

This Doctors office does not accept Tricare Prime. They also have a monopoly when it comes to needing a cast done. My 5 year old son had to wait 8 days and go down to Tucson, because we have military insurance. They claim that tricare does not pay the full amount of the bill, or they take to long. My husband was injured in the Navy and now he is a disabled vet. He gave his life to protect the freedom of the American people. Is that not payment enough? Im sure theses doctors will be fine in their mid-priced Mercedes instead of the deluxe model.To not accept the insurance of the men and women who sacrifice everything for our freedom and rights is the most un-American act I can think of.

I judge a Doctor by HIS work, not some office receptionist. I was always accommodated when ever I called . Im thinking of some shoulder surgery so I am looking for Dr Ericsons results. The rest is just bitching.

Front office staff are extremely rude not very caring they mix up appointments horrible service
