I was told many scary stories about the pain of getting a wisdom tooth pulled. Today Dr Cook pulled one of my wisdom tooth and let me tell you, this was a pain free experience for me. He was explaining to me what he was doing by letting me know that I might feel some pressure. He made the whole process seem so simple and quick put more importantly pain free with just local anesthesia. I was very please with the whole process and how Dr. Cook made everything seemed so simple,quick but more importantly to me pain free. Thank you Dr. Cook and your whole team for providing excellent service. I highly recommend Dr. Cook and the whole signature smile professional team.

Dr. Cook has been my dentist for over a year. Today was the day for my long-anticipated partial crown and re-doing a filling. In spite of my being late, Dr. Cook made sure the partial crown was completed. He and his staff were thorough, patient, and gentle. The lab is on-site, and they were able to scan, create, confirm proper fit, and bond it in place. The filling will be done later (my fault for being late).Dr. Cook and his staff are wonderful people and top notch professionals! 5 ⭐️

Just had my first visit to see Dr. Cook as my dentist for the past 13 years, Dr. Kennedy in Chapel Hill just retired. I followed my dental hygienist Latrice Phillips when she relocated to work with Dr. Cook because I refuse to let anyone else but her clean my teeth. Latrice is the best and every time I leave it looks like I have a brand new set! Dr. Cook’s office is very professional but also it feels like home over there as everyone is very warm and welcoming. After meeting Dr. Cook I see why his practice is so highly rated in the area and I look forward to receiving great care there for years to come.

I can honestly say this is the greatest dentist office I’ve ever visited. The front staff is super friendly. They’re always professional and respectful to the patients. Even when interacting with other patients in the office while I’m waiting I’m always amazed at how well the front staff is. The people who clean teeth in the back are super friendly and explain things very well. They always check on my well being and ensure not experiencing as little pain or discomfort as possible. I never feel uncomfortable or confused about what’s going on. The front desk staff are always helpful and friendly with scheduling my appointments. Whenever I call they always answer and never seemed rushed to answer my questions. I definitely would recommend signature smiles to anyone happily.

From start the finish my experience with Signature Smiles was wonderful! Everyone is so friendly. Kristina was my hygienist and I cannot say enough great things about her! To say I was very anxious would be an understatement. She made me feel so comfortable, honesty I felt like I was chatting with an old friend, and successfully removed a stain that was making me very self-conscious. Amazing experience! Moved to the Cary area recently and I had a great experience at my first appointment. I really appreciated the email and text reminders about my appointment. New patient paperwork was a breeze, even when I ran into an insurance hick up. My appointment went smoothly, the dental hygienist let me know everything she was doing, as she did. She also made sure I was comfortable throughout x-rays, imaging, cleaning, etc. Dr. Cook was awesome! He walked me through my x-rays, made sure I understood what they meant, and was such a bright spirit overall. The waiting area was clean and decorated beautifully. Dr. Cook and his staff also take COVID seriously and exercised necessary steps to ensure that patients remained socially distanced and safe. I truly could pen a book about how lovely my first visit was but you should just call and set up an appointment for yourself!

The staff here truly CARE! They made the process easy and painless from scheduling all the way through to checkout. They were cognizant of my anxiety, explained everything they were doing and answered all of my questions. Extremely clean office with COVID precautions in place to protect patients and staff. The little touches like the hydrating lip treatment and new patient goodie bag were the cherry on top of a great experience. Ive found my dental home!

Dr. Cook and the hygienist, Latrice are awesome and probably the only reason I keep going to this place. However, the front desk ladies, Carol and Felicia are not as friendly. There was an instance where I had some questions about billing during my checkout and Carol was so inpatient and snippy with me. There was even a time they neglected to call and inform my husband about the office closure due to water leak or something like that. My husband only found out after he showed up to his appointment and the office was closed. When we call to reschedule a simple cleaning appointment, they are booked up for 2 months out, which would even be ok if it wasnt for their rushed and annoyed attitude over the phone. I will continue to go to this practice for now and see if their customer service changes.

I have been searching for a dentist since moving to the Triangle area five years ago. Unfortunately, I never found one who was a great fit so I was forced to drive back to my hometown. After this dental appointment, I think I may have finally found the right dentist with Dr. Cook. He and his staff were very friendly and professional. I have already referred multiple people to his practice and look forward to being his patient for years to come.

I love getting my teeth cleaned but am terrified when it comes to fillings. I just had two fillings done and it was a much better experience than with my previous dentist. Dr Cooke and his assistant Sam made me feel very comfortable. When I moved here I picked this office because he had great reviews and now I understand why. He is excellent at what he does.

I visited Signature smiles on Tuesday July 13th and I will say this and you can quote me on this .. This is the perfect dental experience you’ve dreamt of . As, a new mother I had to take my 5month old baby girl to my appointment. I thought of rescheduling but I had already waited a few months to get on their schedule, so it was no way I was rescheduling to accommodate my child care schedule. From the moment I walked in the door I was greeted so nicely by Phillissia , she requested my insurance information and proceeded to give me my new patient documents all while asking about my day and how I was doing . As, I was completing my paperwork the hygienist Latrice came to guide me to the back. Latrice was so patient as I gathered my belongings and baby. As we walked a short distance to the back, Latrice introduced herself and provided small talk to make me comfortable with being seen. Latrice was so informative and communicative while performing my exam it. I was educated properly how to floss , brush , rinse which made interested in my dental health. What I enjoyed most about the experience is the rapport that was instantly built . Not only that , as I was getting my exam finished up, my baby began fussing as she was getting frustrated in the car seat. When she cried it was three different hygienist that literally took turns coming into the the exam to interact with my baby. I was so in awe as, I was kind of embarrassed that my baby was disturbing the nice peaceful atmosphere of Signature Smiles but the staff coming in and playing and talking to my baby showed me this was a patient first familial business . Dr.Cook was informative as well , he continued to ask me if I had any questions and what I loved most is Latrice and Dr.Cook stated that if I had come up with ANY questions or concerns when I got home, don’t hesitate to call and ask . Now with all that said why would you allow anyone else in your mouth ? I will wait all over again for this type of experience and service. Signature smiles have a client for life . Its always difficult going to the dentist, and even more so finding a new dentist in the middle of a pandemic, but thats what I did. I had a wonderful hygenist who did an amazing job cleaning my teeth, and Dr. Cook was great at putting me at ease without the pressure of unnecessary dental treatment. The office staff went to great lengths to make sure that I was comfortable with their COVID-19 protocols. I have found a new home for all my dental needs.

Upon moving to the area in Jan 2020, my family and I were in the market for a dentistry that was not only close to our home but would be able to accommodate our entire family, including our 3 yr old and 10 yr old children. So like most people, we sought Google and Facebook for recommendations. There were several recommendations for Signature Smiles and after reviewing the dental office’s website, it seems that they were in close proximity to our residence and scheduled children for routine cleanings! At this point, it was a no-brainer to schedule an appt.I initially spoke with Carol, the office manager, who quickly got us all scheduled for same day appointments, which was super convenient!! She sent us our paperwork to complete electronically, so there was not a need to print unnecessary paper. Huge BONUS!!Upon arriving to the office for our initial appointment in Jan 2020, the office was clean, there were newer books and toys for the kids to occupy their time while waiting and they even had a nice drink station (pre COVID-19). The office wasn’t overly packed with people which was nice. Our wait time for that appt was about 10 mins. They took us all back for our cleaning. Our son went to a separate chair and he did great all by himself! My daughter accompanied me and she did great as well!!I really appreciate the thoroughness & patience of the hygienists and Dr. Cook during the cleanings and the oral exams, for not only myself but for my children. I didn’t feel like we were just a number. Also, neither he or his team members did not recommend procedures/services that we didn’t need, like I’ve previously experienced from other dental offices. We felt like valued customers. Which, I feel, is really important these days.Following the routine cleaning, I was really thrilled that my daughter was happy and relaxed, as this hasn’t always been the case at our former dental office. This speaks volumes about the patient care that Dr. Cook and his team provides. We are so very grateful and thankful!Upon our exit, the hygienist asked my children if they wanted to choose something out of the “treasure box” and that brought nothing but sheer joy to my children. They still play with toys from that treasure box to this day and they know that after each cleaning they’ll get a surprise from the “treasure box!” Little gestures such as these go a long way for children.Overall, I appreciate Dr. Cook & his team not only doing such a great job in providing excellent oral care but going above and beyond in making sure my family always feels taken care of during each visit. The office is modern and spotless. Dr. Cook, his assistants and hygienists are top of the line. How do they fill cavities and work on my mouth so that I have no pain or only minimal pain? Im amazed and so glad Im one of their patients everytime I leave. The office personnel are very helpful and conscientious regarding Covid-19 precautions. My first time. Had an emergency, chipped tooth. Got an appointment in pretty good time. All the paperwork was done online so when I arrived, no forms. Because of the pandemic there were processes in place to isolate people. Once I arrived in the parking lot, I texted I was there. Got an immediate response to come on up. Waiting room was empty. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Got in the room right away, checked right away, serviced right away. I think the whole process took less than 30 minutes. Ill be back. Going to the dentist during a pandemic is likely to bring people some anxiety, myself included! Luckily, I see Dr. Cook at Signature Smiles! I’ve been going here for awhile now, but was nervous about my visit due to Covid19. I called/texted when I arrived and they let me know when to come up. After a quick temp check and screening I was brought into my room where I was treated quickly and efficiently. There were many safety measures in place and I was completely comfortable! Thankful for Dr. Cook and his entire staff! Love this practice!

I started the process of getting a dental implant yesterday. Dr. Cook told me to expect a few days of mild pain but nothing excruciating. It is now 24 hours later and I have NO pain and only took a couple of Ibuprofen for swelling. And btw he installed a full on post screwed straight into my jawbone!I am SHOOK because dentists were horrifying to me...but EVERY experience Ive had with Dr. Cook and his team has been so effortless and calming that I am not afraid anymore. So if you are reading this trying to figure out what dentist to choose, take this as a sign that Signature Smiles is the right choice and fairly priced!P.S. They also have pain free no numbing lasers for fillings. Its like Star Trek.

The team at Signature Smiles has really created an experience!!! The atmosphere, spa like amenities and professional and gentle team have made a dental visit something to look forward to. They use cutting edge technology to make the traditionally hard parts of a visit a pleasure! Lip scrub, weighted blanket, neck pillow with essential oils, shades, small x-ray pen, TV to see your images as they are being captured... I could go on and on, but try them out for yourself.

The office visit for my boyfriend was absolutely amazing. The front desk staff was knowledgeable and courteous, the techs that helped us in the back explained everything step by step, relieving a lot of the nervousness that comes with having dental work. This was my 4 year old’s first visit with Dr. Cook and Signature Smiles. She said “I love the dentist!”.Our previous visits elsewhere had resulted in tears, fear and meltdowns. An experience of my child simply completing her checkup would have been a vast improvement, however yesterday’s appt exceeded those expectations.Everyone was friendly and patient, putting her at ease. She cooperated and was able to complete her entire checkup for the first time ever! And no tears?! Amazing! She played dentist all evening at home after her appointment. I have been a bad dental patient for a while-20 years- Hard to numb. Dont stay numb. Lots of pain while being treated.Until this week. I decided to try a new dentist, and lo and behold I went to Signature Smiles in Cary, on a recommendation from a group, and the first appointment - my cleaning- was really smooth, but I needed some work done (I knew that already)..This was the first time I wasnt terrified of having dental work done in over 20 years. Dr. Cook was patient, took his time, and made sure that my new crown and filling were done just so. He also took the time to make SURE I was fully numb, and didnt proceed until they were certain. He also kept a close eye on me to make sure I was comfortable at all times while in the dental chair.Bottom line is this: If you are a high fear patient, like me, this practice is a Godsend.I am grateful for this practice, and will hopefully be a patient for life.

I’m terrible with names, but I just wanted to give a shout-out to my hygienist from upstate NY. She was very thorough and took the time to make sure I was comfortable during the ultrasonic procedure. I didn’t feel rushed and she went above and beyond what I have experienced in the past. She was fantastic and thank you again for showing me how to properly floss. Can you believe it’s the first time I’m explained exactly how to position the floss (by hugging the tooth). Thanks again!

Ive never had a dental experience like this!! Signature Smiles is top notch. The hygienist I saw was friendly, warm and patient with me after not having had a cleaning in over a year. The staff supplies a warm neck pillow to use during their exam (in the most comfortable dental chair Ive ever been in!) Dr. Cook was very personable and easy to talk to. My first experience at Signature Smiles was awesome. I didnt understand my insurance information as I am a senior in college and I am used to my parents handling most of these tasks for me. I really appreciated how consistent Ms. Pam was with making sure I provided the correct information. She kept in touch with me to make sure everything was correct before I arrived and made the process smooth. The hygienists and Dr.Cook were very pleasant as well. I brought my daughter to Dr. Cook for her first dental appointment yesterday. She is 22 months and loves to brush her teeth at home but was not ready to have the dental hygienist clean her teeth for her. The hygienist was so patient and let her brush her own teeth! Dr. Cook and his staff were more concerned about her not having a traumatic experience than forcing her to be examined and cleaned against her will. Dr. Cook gave me good tips for at home brushing and we will be back in six months! Hopefully next time my daughter will more cooperative!

My family of four have received excellent care from Dr. Cook and staff for years. Dr Cook has a wonderful way about him. We all (my two children, spouse and I) feel comfortable there and know we are in great hands with any work we need. If they don’t “take” your insurance, they’ll file it for you. So kind!! The waiting room looks like it’s been staged by a team of professional interior designers, Ms. Allyson strikes again. The care team are just the best people around! Every hygienist I’ve ever seen has been friendly, professional, smart as a whip and good at their jobs. Clearly folks are hired here who are passionate about what they do and who enjoy building relationships with their patients.Several years ago I had persistent sensitivity in one tooth. Several dentists saw it and told me to just keep using Sensodyne and avoid temperature extremes on that side of my mouth, as if that was a plausible solution. Within minutes of my first exam at Signature Smiles, Dr. Cook & his team identified a large crack in the enamel of my tooth. Not only did he then save my tooth from a root canal but he administered my anesthetic in such a way that the entire procedure was painless and quick. They use state of the art equipment (hand held xrays, macro lens oral cameras, etc) and deliver gold standard care. So thankful to have found this practice in an area where there are so many options but they are not all created equal. If you’re looking for a dentist for you or your family, please head this way. When I come in I always know any issues with be identified and that the care I receive will be honest and competent, this office is the best of the best.

I absolutely love Dr. Cook and his team. The entire visit is personalized from start to finish; from the hot neck pillow, sunglasses, lip scrub, to the time they spend with you... its truly a wonderful experience. And its the dentist! I have been going to see Dr Cook for a couple of years now. Before finding him, I was TERRIFIED of going, not to mention I needed an extensive amount of work done. Every visit they are all just amazing, from Pam at the front to Regina and all the staff. Comfort is their #1 priority. And today I came in for 1 procedure, but really needed a 2nd one done as it was beginning to be painful. Dr Cook worked me in, no problem at all. If you are looking for a dentist and staff that truly cares, then you have found it!

Best dentist ever! Not to say my previous dentists were bad, but Dr. Cook and his staff there are simply amazing. Theyd gave me a heated neck pillow, and even offered me a pair of headphones so I could listen to my music while they were busy working. Dr. Cook also gave me sunglasses to wear during the appointment, which was another nice touch. My eyes are sometimes sensitive to light, and its nice having protection for them.

My visit was wonderful! I’m usually afraid of dentists but they made me feel so at ease and comfortable that I wasn’t anxious at all. To soothing music really was nice and the staff is very helpful. Dr Cook has an excellent manner toward his patients!

Dr cook and his staff are always friendly and helpful! Pam is amazing and remembers almost everything about everyone! My whole family goes here (1 year old 3 year old and 2 adults!!) They are upfront about payment at the time and no weird things ran through insurance just to get extra money as ive seen others do!I have major anxiety about dental work and they are always quick to talk to you and help you ask you for any questions comments or concerns! Even my 3y.o loves the staff and will actually ask to go to the dentist!!!

Ive had cavities my whole life - literally. I had my first cavity at age 5. (Bad genetics and water with no flouride.) Ive been through it all - Novocaine, the drill, the old school silver film. You name it, Ive had it done, and its always been uncomfortable and anxiety inducing.I was due for 2 fillings. Dr. Cook shared with me that theyd be using a laser, which could possibly feel cold, but that most patients arent bothered by. If at any point I was uncomfortable or in pain, I could raise my hand and they would administer anesthetic. The idea of getting two cavities drilled with NO anesthetic was terrifying to me, but I figured Id roll the dice.No joke - when he was done (in 20 minutes!) I didnt believe him. I barely noticed any sensation, and when I did, it just felt like I had eaten a Popsicle. Im at work, sitting at my desk, and am STILL blown away by how easy it all was. I couldve fallen asleep, I was so comfortable.My cleaning experience was fantastic, but knowing that this is how my more in-depth dental care will be handled has absolutely made me a patient for life. I am so glad that suggestions from NWOTT motivated me to see Dr. Cook. I cannot recommend him or his practice highly enough.

Just had my first visit today. The hygienist, Stephanie, was fantastic. Both her and Dr.Cook were very kind and thorough. On top of it all, the office itself is very clean, comfortable, and modern. I had an excellent visit and am really glad I chose Signature Smiles.

What can I say about this office that hasnt already been said?? I was terrified of the dentist before coming here, Dr Cook and Lindsey took extra time with me to help relax me and explained the procedure to me! I cant say enough great things about Dr. Cook and the whole staff. Everyone makes you feel so welcome, and comfortable, from the moment you walk in the door! I always feel like I have a clear understanding of my dental work plans, and that any concerns I have are valued . My schedule is not very flexible, but they always try to make my visits as convenient as possible!

After falling and shattering both front teeth, Dr. Cook answered my Facebook message by getting me in the office within hours! Two temporary crowns later, an appointment for a more permanent fix within days and easy payment options for all of it-I am very happy with the service and friendliness at this office.I am transferring to Dr. Cook for all my future dental care.

Dr. Cook took his time to explain and actually show me on the X-rays what cavities needed to be filled. I really appreciated that! The appointment for my filings was painless. The waiting area and exam room are super clean and the staff is very nice. I would definitely recommend!!

I had an urgent need on Christmas Eve and wasnt established with a dentist locally. I called 25 different offices - all closed for the holidays - so I threw a Hail Mary to a local networking group for help. Dr. Cooks wife, Allyson, saw my post and told me to call him to see if he would be able to see me. I spoke with him at 1030, was in the office at noon, and was greeted with smiles and graciousness by both Dr. Cook and Allyson, despite my disrupting their Christmas Eve day. After a thorough and entirely pleasant exam/consultation, Dr. Cook repaired my tooth and sent me on my way with a Merry Christmas, my staff will be in touch to finish billing. I experienced almost no discomfort after the procedure and I am actually looking forward to making another appointmentHe (and his wife!) went above and beyond. He is kind, patient, non-judgmental and is clearly passionate about his chosen profession. Dr. Cook has gained not just one new patient but 4 new patients - my husband and 2 kids will be joining me in seeing him at his office as well.

Found Signature Smiles from recommendation from a friend. I went to get a check up/tooth ache addressed after much to long of a time off from the dentist and super glad I did.After my initial cleaning (accompanied by heated neck pillow, thank you). They found a hole in my tooth needing attention and I got that fixed this morning. It was the most pleasant procedure I have been through from a discomfort perspective, things have changed since I got my fillings a while back. No shot to numb the tooth because they have some high tech lasers, yes lasers to do that which greatly reduced discomfort to pretty much none.Was in an out in an hour, no more tooth pain and didnt have a numb mouth to deal with.Lastly, I would like to say Dr. Cook and his staff are great and everyone from the moment you walk in the door to getting work done has been knowledgable, friendly and walked me through all steps etc.I dont generally like dentists and feel like they want to do a bunch of stuff and charge you a bunch of $ for it when its not necessary . Dr. Cook was honest and did what was needed and didnt try to replace everything he could.

My two boys (ages 6 and 9) have been to Signature Smiles for a few visits now and no other place compares! The first time I took them my youngest son who had cried every other time he went to other practices was at ease the entire time with Dr. Cook and his staff and never cried once. They were both so happy with the experience the next time my youngest volunteered to go first! The spa-like, calming atmosphere and privacy is superb and unlike other less comfortable dental offices. Recently I had a great appointment myself and appreciated how thorough Dr. Cook and his team were in explaining everything. Signature Smiles has thought of everything to ensure that their patients of all ages feel relaxed, well informed, and that their privacy is protected. We have found a home for our family’s dental care and would highly recommend the same for anyone else.

Ive always been very anxious and nervous about dental visit which is why I have avoided it for a very long time. From the beginning of the visit to the very end of my visit I felt very much at ease especially after meeting Dr.Cook! He was amazing! Very genuine and I can finally say that I have found a dentist that I enjoy and look forward to getting my smile to where I want it! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I highly recommend Dr. Cook to everyone. Its so nice to go to an office where you are always going to have plenty of face time with the actual dentist instead of a 5 minute review after your cleaning.Dr. Cook is also very good about explaining your X-ray and any potential issues that might come up and how to avoid them. Once you do have an issue, he is clear about whether you can wait to do a procedure and is always honest about all your options, especially the ones that will save you time and money. He took the extra half hour on my teenager to save her tooth from a bad cavity that could have been a root canal instead of jumping to a root canal costing him both time and money- but saving us money and extra pain. Our previous dentist insisted she needed a root canal.The rest of the staff, from the hygienist to the receptionist are very friendly and quick, yet relaxed and focused on you. You can tell they love working for him, and that says the most to me! My teenage daughter and I have been seeing him for a little over a year now and will from now on.

Really the best dentist I have ever been to! Dr. Cook makes sure time again that you are comfortable and aware of that is happening throughout! I will definitely be making him my permanent dentist! Pam was also an absolute delight!!! Highly recommend!!!!
