My youngest daughter started at TLE- Cary in September, the first couple of weeks were a little tough on us both, but the staff at the center were absolutely fantastic. They were supportive and provided feedback to help make our experience there better. Week 3 my daughter was ready to jump out of bed to go see her favorite teachers and friends. I am so pleased with TLE- Cary, and so happy that we made the decision to enroll here. My daughters speech has improved, her willingness to try new things has improved, and she absolutely loves attending. Every morning on the way in, she always says she cant wait to see Ms. Dia, Ms. Patty, Ms, Joyce, and Ms. Tiffany! Thank you all so much for making my babe feel welcome and loved every day!

My 2 year old wakes up every morning excited to come to TLE everyday. He loves his teachers and has made many little friends. He has grown and learned so much there that I do not think he would have gotten to the same level at the pace that he has at a different daycare. Keep it up TLE!

Owner is money-hungry, seems like she only sees people as stepping stones and as ways to get more moneyThe way that some of the kids get treated by the owner is awful. Its not even possibly humane at this point. The whole environment just feels so dishonest and fake and so corporate. The new assistant director is also an anti-vaxxer and anti-masker, which is also disappointing.

My 20 month old has been attending for only a month and his vocabulary has blossomed. They are much more than a daycare. My son is excited to go to school. He recently was doing yoga poses he learned at TLE and it warmed my heart that he is so engaged. I am new to the area and toured 11 different child care centers. I’m happy I chose this one. The staff is diverse, kind and professional.

My son who is 18 months loves TLE. We tried other schools/daycares that did not show the level of care he needed/deserved. We get pictures sent to us throughout the day. We get to watch our son learn through many activities that are helping him grow mentally and physically! Couldn’t be happier.

The staff here is A1. We placed our two-month-old daughter in the care of The Learning Experience in Cary and was delighted with the experience. Terrific people here. Loving and caring staff. The teachers here care for your children as if they were there own.The staff is caring and will do everything they can to make sure the children are safe and in an age-appropriate, stimulating environment. They follow the laws in place to ensure childrens safety and in compliance with state regulations. I give this daycare my highest recommendation. If you ever have any issues or concerns. Take a breath then talk to Ms. Dia. She and her staff will do everything in their power to make sure you and your child are safe, on the correct learning path and that your experience at the Learning Experience is a pleasant one.

I currently have my son in the infant room at this location and we love Miss Wendy! You can tell she enjoys her job and all the babies. She is always talking to them and you would never know that they dont talk back. I also have my kindergartner in the after school program and he loves his teachers too! Its great that they offer the service of picking up my son from school so I can get both kids at one location. My older son enjoys all of the teachers and provided snacks. The communication from the admin team is on point and much appreciated. They also offer parent nights out which is huge for us since we do not have family in the area to babysit. I am looking forward to the summer program for him too as they provide a lot of off site activities to keep them entertained.

Currently employed here as a PRE-K teacher with 2 children in the School age program. My children loves Ms. Jasmine who is patient, caring & goes above and beyond to understand each childs needs on a one on one basis. Building community relationships down the years has provided great opportunities for learning about cultural diversity and social groups. This helps myself to engage students effectively in the learning process and their academic abilities individually preparing them for the real world and future success. The owner and admin are supportive of the teachers and families.

Our twins were in the infant room at TLE Cary for less than 2 months. Many of the teachers and assistants were very sweet and loving but the corporate atmosphere created a situation where the kids needs were not first - money and policy were.Firstly, the director promised we could get a sibling discount on part-time (4 days per week care). It wasnt until the day I came in to sign enrollment paperwork that we were told by the owner there would be no discount since they were doing a favor by providing a 4-day week. It was a sneaky move and I wish I would have pushed back on the greedy owner. There were several policies that were detrimental to the children. Most days when I would pick up by babies they would be crying in their cribs while their teacher cleaned their classroom. When I brought this up, I was told it was the end of her day too and she was required to clean. Children should never be put in cribs to cry while someone uses cleaning products around them! I also saw feeding utensils put in the same bucket as cleaning supplies.Classrooms are consolidated at the end of the day to account for ratios. I noticed that my son was coming home with diaper rash, sometimes so bad it was bleeding. When I asked why they werent using cream on him, they said it was because his cream was in his other classroom and they werent allowed to move it with him. To allow a child to cry and bleed without diaper cream just because of policy is terrible.Overall there are plenty of great centers in the area. Spend a little extra money and enroll your children somewhere else.

I worked at this Center for roughly two months August to October as the Cook and enrolled my daughter into the Preppers classroom. At first, the center seemed awesome with an empathic and professional management team but my experience with them has proved disappointing. Communication is not valued and issues were not always handled appropriately. I received an offer and was hired as the Cook, nowhere in my interview was I informed that I would be expected to teach other than maybe while covering a lunch break and I gladly accepted the position only to find out two months later with 3 business days notice that the former Cook would be returning from maternity leave and taking her position back as the Cook. The Directors obviously knew when she would be returning and assumed I did too though they never told me but waited until the week before to communicate with me while I was working that basically, I would no longer have the job that I was hired to do as the Cook and expected me to work in a classroom or as a floater, which I did not apply to do. Even after receiving praise for my work while there, I offered to stay on working in a classroom for a few weeks to give them help and me time to find other employment and childcare for my daughter, the Director informed me that that was not an option as not to have temporary people in and out the classroom (though I had already been working there already for two months and had met many parents that knew me by face and name) which put me in the position of having wasted two months getting my daughter familiar with teachers she would soon be leaving and me out of employment with less than a weeks notice, which as a working single mother trying to support a toddler in this economy, I did not appreciate whatsoever. I applied and was hired to be a Cook, not a floater or teacher. Therefore, I feel the professional and courteous move would have been to have a conversation with me well in advance letting me know the circumstances of the cook returning in a few weeks so I could have found other arrangements for myself and my daughter. The situation was handled unprofessionally to either cover themselves with little regard to others circumstances or simply a lack of initiative to find out and communicate what could be expected yet they expect the best from employees without reciprocating their own expectations. After weighing the pros and cons of staying, it was very frustrating but long term, the better choice leaving and pulling my daughter from a class she did enjoy on such short notice and most teachers at this Center are good teachers but the leadership they receive is a perfect example of why daycares have such a high turnover rate and unsatisfied teachers. I did not feel it was in my best interest to stay on in such conditions having spoken to a few teachers and seeing the ongoing interactions. I sincerely hope the Directors change their work styles to better accommodate their workers who are all working adults and not just pawns to use. If you are considering working here, I would highly advise you to take time and look though the reviews on Indeed and Google first to get an accurate feel of the environment before wasting two months like I did. And if you are a parent, speak with the teachers personally and ask ALL of your questions ahead of time, not just taking a quick tour and before enrolling your child as I saw happening, read the reviews to get a feel of where you will be committed to for years to come. Money seems to be the bottom line, not the best interest of all involved and these are peoples careers/children and their education that you are dealing with. Thats not to be taken lightly.. There are quite a few other very nice centers in the area, one of which I am extremely satisfied with currently. Do not settle in regards to employment or childcare. This is as candid a review as I can give as former employee and mother who had a child enrolled at TLC.

Im currently a Pre-K teacher here at TLE Cary and I could not be more happy. This place really does put kids first. We have staff meetings that talk about how we can be better for the kids happiness, safety, and learning experience. As a teacher and a parent of a child who goes here I feel like I am very well taken care of and there is nothing that I need that they dont provide for me. Ive worked in 3 other child care centers and none of them were as family friendly as here. I love that we can have fun activities like family fun day, fall festival, a Christmas parade and lots of other parties here at the center. They really go all out for each family and families in the community.

I worked here since last Feburary as the infant b teacher. I loved my job and had a great relationship with all the teachers, parents and especially kids. However I recently got back in contact with my birth family and decided I wanted to move away. I gave the director a months notice to be courteous because I understand how hard it is to find teachers. As soon as I gave my notice. The director who once loved me had a very different attitude towards me. I was told by her that she usually doesnt allow people to finish working after they give a notice. Which yes may be a legal thing she can do. But morally. its not right. I was told I was no longer needed to finish out my last week. I was dismissed for no reason other then the owner suddenly putting her personal feelings towards the situation instead of professional. The teachers are great the administration is sneaky and speak badly about staff. The teachers work so hard and if anything is going on personally that may affect their schedule, they are easily dismissed. Or told they can easily be replaced. Like I was told that by the owner herself several times. What kind of good business treats teachers that way? I would like to add that I have posted this comment on the Facebook page and it keeps gettingdeleted. .

I have worked at the Cary Learning Experience in total for nearly three years. I must say it is without a doubt THE BEST Learning facility for young children. Our center, which is a five star center, provides the children with a unique and age appropriate, developmental learning program, as well as allowing the Teachers to bring their experience, education, and creativity into the learning process. The children are provided with a variety of learning tools and toys all to spark, while encouraging, imagination and cognitive development all while having fun! The meals provided are hot, the fruits and vegetables are fresh from our local Farmers market. Our owner, Mrs. Dia Shah goes above and beyond to make sure every teacher, and child is happy and has everything they need. She provides services to our communities and allows the staff to participate. Mrs. Shah takes great pride in her center and is always on site to help if needed. The Director, Mrs. Melisa harrison is far and above a fun, well educated, leader who makes it apparent that children always come first! I work with awesome teachers and our families are THE best!! Come see for yourself with a tour, the bright colors of our building, the bright smiles of our staff and most of all the happy children will certainly win you over!! :) Thank you

Tacoyia Bethea speaking on my behalf about The Learning Experience, and owner of the center Ms. Dia, I have been here for about 2 years and I absolutely love the kids, parents, and the staffs. we do any and everything to make sure the kids are safe, feel comfortable in our environment like home. we have meetings so that way we can work as a team to communicate such as coming up with ideas to better the center, meals, art, language, fine motor, physical fitness, yoga, sign language, and so much more. as for the owner of the center she makes sure everything needed for the center is there, and really do care about the staff, Ms. Dia helps out when Ms.Dia can always most of the time, and understanding each individual. as a staff I seen many people come in and just really expected different and was focused on the wrong thing but there kids. there are no longer here and the center has improved a lot. as long as you really happy and love what you do for the kids and appreciating your area in this field everything will be great.

I worked at TLE and I also had my children attend the school. As a teacher there, I loved working at TLE. Not all things were great but for the most part, you work with what you have. During the time that i was there, we had a pretty good staff group. Dia, the owner, she really wants the best for her center and does the best she can to keep her staff happy. As a parent there, I had a couple of issues. One of the teachers that was working there hit my then 11 month old son and I had to call the police. I had to really sit there and explain to Dia how the situation was not okay. The teacher was not fired, she ended up quitting herself a couple of weeks after the incident. My son did not have any other issues other than that and the entire center is not to blame for the one bad apple. My daughter then 2 years old learned how to potty train, she was really shy and her teacher was wonderful at helping her come out of her shell. Although I made the decision to leave TLE, I still recommend the facility to people and wish Dia the best on her 9 year old center

My experience at TLE has been extremely positive. My son has been attending TLE since we moved to the area when he was one year old. He has grown and developed so much in just a year and I definitely attribute this to his time at TLE. Their curriculum is age appropriate and so effective, everyone is surprised by how much he knows at two years old. Every single teacher has made me feel like they really care about my son, so its very comforting to leave him there every day and know that hes being properly taken care of. My son has very sensitive skin so he experienced a lot of diaper rashes and every time I would bring him in with one, it would be gone by the time I picked him up. This really speaks to the level of care and attention they provide. Recently they started requesting pull ups so they can begin to potty train my son. Within a few weeks of starting, along with my consistency at home, my son is fully potty trained. They were so supportive in adopting to my methods of training, even at times when it would have been easier to put a diaper on my son. I cant say enough good things about TLE and Dia, the owner and director. We will be at TLE until my son is too old and I highly recommend it to anyone who is considering it for their child.

My child has attended TLE in Cary for over 3 years. He graduated from Pre-K this summer. We truly appreciate all TLE has done for him over these last years. When we moved to Cary we visited many daycares in the area. All of them want you to visit first before giving you any fees. Im glad that I visited TLE because when I met the staff and saw the classrooms I knew right away that this was the daycare! Of course my husband had to make a visit with me later for a final decision. When I met the management team and staff at TLE I knew it was the right fit for our child. Theyve been through so much with our family. They always show concern and care for our child.Weve watched him grow and learn so many new things at TLE Cary. We know he is prepared for kindergarten. He loved to come home and tell us about his computer time, interactive learning, and of course the playground! He adores his teachers. They were always so caring and understanding of his needs.TLE Cary has been a great experience for my child and my family. Ms.Dia (owner) and her staff are awesome! I would recommend them to any of my friends:)
