Ive been using Better off at Home for over a year now to provide assistance to my aging aunt. The owner, Jodi, is amazing and I can text her anytime I need something for my aunt! Weve had several caregivers and they have been great and have really helped take care of my aunt. Highly recommend this company!

When I first started working for Better off at Home I thought it was the ideal job. I hadnt never had a interview never have I met Jodi the owner or Terry whom is the manager. Jodi was a pleasant and humble person she no longer is. Her most upbeat caregivers she doesnt give them no recognition or have they best interests. You dont get paid for overtime anything over 40 hours is supposed to be compensated at time and a half not with them. You have to put 2 weeks in to get your first check and is paid weekly. You dont be informed when there are changes meaning sometimes you get paid on a Friday and sometimes on a Monday never heard of such. She goes along with whatever Terry says he doesnt have her best interest he puts racial sarcasm on Facebook which he is friends with some of the African American caregivers not thoughtful of others feelings at all. Terry isnt a pleasant person talks to the caregivers any kind of way disrespectful. You cant go to Jodi regarding your opinion about certain beliefs she makes it to be in a negative manner. Caregivers gets no respect we were the ones doing the work to fullfill needs for the elderly or disabled. She give her favorites the better clients if youre asked to go out on assignments and refused sometimes you wouldnt get calls for a while for other assignments. I appreciated the fact when I was in need they gave me a job but other factors circumstances that came along with the job.

The owner of Better Off At Home, Jodi Bellam, is a wonderful caring person. She helped my family through a tough decision and made the process easy. The caregiver placed with my mother took amazing care of her. I would recommend Better Off at Home to anyone looking for a caregiver for their parents.

JODI IS A VERY LOVING CARING PERSON..THE ONLY THING I DIDNT LIKE ABOUT THE COMPANY IS U HAVE TO PUT 2 WEEKS IN BEFORE U GET PAID. THEY COMPANY HAVE POOR COMMUNICATION
