Went here for a volleyball game it was really clean

Had a great 4th of July experience here! Showed up early to get good parking & seats on the grass, then enjoyed the amazing food trucks, music, and fireworks show!Getting out of the parking lot and neighborhood was amazing thanks to the Police Officers directing traffic. It was way less time than I thought it would be getting out of there and my whole family appreciates it!

Very well kept park and playground with basketball hoops

My son plays soccer here. Only complaints are its a long walk from the parking lot to the soccer fields (so bring a stroller/wagon) and not much shade. But the fields themselves are in good shape and the kids have fun, and thats what matters.

Wonderful gathering. We were at an art show that was awesomely administered. Food and drinks too were offered which was unexpectedly surprising.The art displays were exquisite.Had a faint old building look and smell, but dont be put off by that; Its not what it looks like, but its what it offers. Great place to meet great people from the community.

La Sierra was recommended to us when we were calling around trying find a community center room with a kitchen for a memorial service. As you know community centers are booked months in advance, so when we found out this place was available on the day we wanted, we booked it. We did a drive by to check out the facilities and honestly, it was perfect. La Sierra is an old high school that has been converted. We booked the smaller room that held, I think it was 115 seated or 200+ for assembly. The room came with banquet tables, chairs, a nice size kitchen. Male and female bathrooms were right next door. It worked perfectly for our needs. At the end, you leave it as you found it. And you get your deposit back. The memorial service went well. Everyone said it was really nice. I would definately use again. They also rent out their other spaces, gym, fields for games, etc., I was impressed.

Visited for the occasion of a wedding. Was a pretty good locale for such an event. The room was just the right size for table service wedding. There is also a nice grass covered courtyard that provided the little kids a chance to run around. Bathrooms were a bit small.

My kids have played soccer here a ton, its a nice area for different activities. A couple spots work out well for flying small drones when no one is around. All the people that frequent the community center seem pleasant but are probably not thrilled about people taking non-soccer parking spots.

Planning a gender reveal party and Regina was so helpful in guiding me in picking out the perfect room. I also noticed that the center holds numerous events for kids camps, family fun and adult interests. Gonna need to check it out.

It was a place where there was a meeting that I left as soon as the meeting was over. The meeting room was cramped because I guess there were no bigger rooms. We were in the Cedar Room #810 for about 1.5 hours and the room, while packed to the gills, stayed comfortably cool. Maybe that was due to the rain that day, I dunno.Anyway... Its a community center where the community can get together and talk about the things that involve the community and the people therein. Not much more can be said about the place.

Went for a celebration of life for a friend. Nice outdoor area. Only saw a small part of the center but it was nice.

I enjoy this place. My son plays basketball there and its big, clean, nice basketball courts, and a playground for the kids

Nice location for hosting an event. Lots of natural light, big space. My only complaint would be the bathroom. Only 3 stalls in Ladies room, and water splashes all in the stall when you flush the toilet!

My brother-in-law has played basketball and floor hockey in the gymnasium. My nephew has played baseball in their baseball fields. My niece has played soccer in their soccer fields. The fields and gymnasium is always clean and well maintained. I would recommend La Sierra Community Center for your kids sports needs.

Great art exhibitions. The grounds are great to relax and have lunch in when you need to unwind. Totally worth supporting and visiting.

I came for the Fourth of July and it was great! There was tons of space so it didnt feel crowded, and the sponsor tents where amusing. The arts center had a painting booth, and me and my friends had a blast.

Absolutely love it here. I have basketball games every weekend here. Its not crowded, or difficult to find the right gym. Everything is all in one place. Highly recommend it 👌.

It was great! I didnt know until today, thanks to a friend, that local art was so close to where I live. Will definitely be more connected to this wonderful venue....

I played soccer here for years, and I just went back to watch my nephew play. Very little shade so bring your pop up and sunscreen. Dogs are not allowed but we brought ours in because we didnt know before getting there. No one complained or told us to leave.

My kids Love this day camp!!! Some of the staff use ASL for me and my daughter. The games are fun. Active, and theres a lot of variety. A great place for kids

Got about 300 feet from where the fireworks are launched on the fourth of July; it is amazing, you can feel the power of the morters; it drove me to tears by the end of the show. America!!!

Went there for the 4th of July celebration & as always definitely NOT disappointed. The fireworks display was AWESOME and the food trucks were actually logical decisions for such an occasion. Usually they have some off the walk selections that are just not appealling when its extremely hot & then as the night falls and it gets chilly nothing to really warm up the kids bellies. My youngest lays volleyball there. It is with San Juan school district, Carmichael parks, Orangevale Parks. It is for middle school kids.

This is my childrens school, California Montessori Project Carmichael campus. I am so incredibly pleased with how this school conducts itself.

Its always great to celebrate July 4th here. Food trucks, games, inflatable playplaces that kids can enjoy throughout the afternoon. Fireworks were great - better than last year. Song selections has some room for improvement. Maybe a mixed selection for the young crowd and the not so young. People are great and had a chance to meet new friends. The only terrible thing is when its time to leave and traffic starts to build up. Police assistance is not that evident and some people started to yell at each other at the parking lot. But everything else considered.. it is still a great place to spend July 4th.
