.Ive had both my folks at Atria El Camino Gardens for over 2 years now and have walked so many difficult roads with each of their differing needs, hospitalizations, changes in care levels, moves to rooms that better met their needs and the staff, both care staff, front desk and administration have been nothing but kind and understanding. Both my parents always said they felt cared for and respected, not to mention very well fed. When I get to needing Assisted Living and Memory Care, I hope this place is still around!

I can’t say enough positive things about our family’s experience here at Atria El Camino Gardens. My mother was in their Memory Care section and the love and care shown for her safety and welfare was beyond outstanding. As a result of the big Camp Fire in 2018, Mom was displaced from the Atria in Paradise. The evacuation and relocation efforts Atria undertook to keep Mom and many, many others safe was unbelievable. We agreed to place her at El Camino and what a wonderful decision it turned-out to be. The staff at Atria welcomed Mom into their family. Their facility is always clean and cheerful. The staff is warm and attentive. The passion these wonderful people show for their residents is amazing.Sadly, Mom recently passed-away... but the love and care her Atria Family demonstrated was continuous throughout. I love these folks for making Mom’s final years so meaningful and safe.

After looking at several senior living centers, we felt that Atria had the best to offer for what my grandmother needed. Due to the pandemic, a lot of what they could offer at the moment is limited, but its like that with all the places right now.The one that stood out to us was cleanliness of the facility. We noticed no odors, dirty carpets or floors, or any trash issues. They seem to take great pride in the looks of the place both inside and out.Another thing that stands out is the food. The sales director told us that there is a big focus on the culinary here, and he wasnt lying. My grandmother absolutely loves it for the most part. Her favorite being chicken fried steak. She also enjoys the activities that they currently can do during this pandemic. Specifically the hallway bingo, and art classes. The staff are professional, and theres been no issues there. Overall were satisfied with how Atria has treated her so far, and if she loves it, we love it too.

Atria El Camino Gardens is an amazing place for seniors to live. It’s team of competent and caring staff is what sets this community apart from all other assisted living/memory care in surrounding areas. They’re thoughtful, caring, helpful, compassionate and accommodating. Anyone visiting can feel that home like environment from the warm welcome of it’s staff. In addition, the longevity of it’s employees speaks volumes. Moreover, the community offers great food with a variety of dining options and fun-filled calendar of activities. Overall, this a perfect community for your loved ones to live and thrive.

My family was looking for an assisted living facility for my grandmother. We researched online and visited several local facilities before deciding to go with Atria El Camino Gardens. We visited the other Atria’s in the area as well, but we chose this facility because it was clean, inviting and the staff is great. We were welcomed by Susan, who showed us the facility and answered all of our questions. Ultimately my grandmother moved in, and we couldn’t be happier. My grandmother was hesitant to go to an assisted living, but the employees have made it an easy transition for her. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone!

Over 4 years there and they are very professional and attentive to the needs of my mother and any requests I may ask for in making her comfortable and happy. Best memory care unit around.Marco

I have been extremely disappointed with the service and care for my father at Atria El Camino Gardens. They did not bathe him for the first 2.5 weeks! Because of COVID I asked them to help him unpack and that took over a week. I asked them to help setup his phone and it took them a week and a half. I dont have a single point of contact to check on his care, I talk to multiple people and no one knows anything. I scheduled a doctors appointment (based on their availability) and they did not take him. He is a smoker and needs assistance and they have literally left him outside unattended in the rain and even pushed him out the door in his wheelchair so hard that he could not stop until he reached the other side of the parking lot! They tried to change his care plan (adding $585/month) 4 times without an explanation of why. When I questioned it they would not give a straight answer. I called with a question about the billing and its been over a week and still no call back. I understand COVID has made thigs more difficult, but if your family member needs help, do yourself and them a favor, go somewhere else.

My Mom has resided in Assisted Living here at Atria for the past few years. Being that on March 18, 2020, the pandemic caused the facility to lockdown, the staff was, and still is awesome. My family and I have had occasion to get to know and work with various staff members. In the Medical/Nursing Department, Angelica, Joyce and Giam (he was recently promoted to another facility) have provided us with excellent medical information and help with my Moms issues. The Med Techs, Juliet, Indu, Cherry, and Shawn are diligent and efficient. The caregivers all work EXTREMELY hard while showing compassion, care and responsiveness: Rina, Zipporah, Glenda, Galena, Jamestic, Sam, Bonnie are considered part of our unofficial family due to their help with my Mom. The Engage Life department, led by Staci, Gina and Shawn provide various activities, highlighted by my Moms favorite, hallway hockey. The front desk staff, Reyna, Emily and Margaret are always so cordial and helpful. The Atria Director, Alicia R., stays on top of everything and regularly keeps families updated with facility news. Alicia listens and responds to concerns in a most timely manner. Sorry, if I accidentally omitted anyone by name, but just know that our family is thankful and grateful for all of the care and help provided to our beloved parent.

Dad started off in C building in assisted living. He moved to Life Guidance the first of the year. This was a tough transition for him, but he was aware that he needed to do it. He went for almost a week to have lunch there and check it out before he moved in. The staff was very friendly and Dad liked them and the food. He has had a couple of personal hurdles to cross, but the staff have been so supportive. They have taken a huge stress from me and say not to worry. I honestly believe them too. They go out of their way to get him to engage in activities, which once he is doing it he does enjoy it. They are very tentative to his needs and very caring. I cannot say enough nice things about Atria. I have developed a relationship with a lot of the staff there and they know me. I never feel as though I am intruding on their job. They know that I just want to follow up on my Dad. I am very grateful for everyone there.

The apartments offer welcoming surroundings, convenient services and amenities, all day dining in three restaurants or bistro, delicious and healthy dining experiences, housekeeping and linen service, attentive 24-hour staff, daily fitness opportunities, transportation, a full social calendar designed around resident engagement, well-rounded events programs that promote participation, personal growth and well-being. My grandfather was admitted at this location roughly 3 years ago. Initially, I thought the service was great, food mediocre, and the price was fair. Some time later, my grandfather fell in the bathroom in his room and (later we found out he fractured his hip at the hospital) no one could enter the room in this emergency situation. It took 15 MINUTES to try and find someone who could try to open the door. The worst part was, MY GRANDFATHER HAD TO CRAWL ON THE FLOOR (injured) to unlock the door! The staff never was able to even unlock the door. Nonsense. He ended up having hip surgery and moving locations to avoid this from happening again. The food is rated at 5 stars. I would disagree with this, but that is my opinion. The good thing about this place was the exceptional medical staff. I was in contact with them weekly and the staff was very friendly/supportive and knowledgeable.

My mom has been at Atria El Camino Gardens for over 5 years and its been a very, very good. She started off in independent living and has progressed onto assisted living and now life guidance. All of the staff have been great. In fact, I chose Atria El Camino Gardens because of the staff. While all of the staff have been great, I would like to note that Ingrid Weber has just been wonderful. She is so thoughtful, kind, caring, and supportive, both for my mom and me. She has gone way beyond the normal call of duty, even staying with my mom past midnite in the hospital. Ingrid thinks of creative ways to resolve issues that come up, including getting my mom hospice care when she needed it. She keeps me informed on how my mom is doing (I live out of state) on a regular basis. She is very cheerful, cares for all the life guidance clients, and has a great rapport with the other life guidance staff. The rest of the life guidance staff (Cora, Priscilla and others Ive forgotten their names) really do care about their clients. They make an extra effort to make a happy and fun environment, with lots of activities. They know all their clients, what they like to eat, where they like to sit and what they like (or dont like) to do.In summary, I am very happy with the care my mom gets at Atria El Camino Gardens and would recommend it to anyone.

Ive been with this Atria for just over a Year. The brochure I was given asked me to print a name of a staff member that I appreciated. However, I like MOST of the staff very well, especially those that either assist me every day or at least say HELLO with a smile. This particular Review will be just to make it known that I really appreciate the the work that the CLEANING STAFF does for me when needed. They do a very meticulous and tiring function but are continuously working to keep everyone fed and happy.Everyone is doing a great job but I have several people who generally greet me with a smile and great service which brightens my day very much.My favorite one within the CLEANING STAFF is Anna. Another one of the CLEANING STAFF with the most keep at it attitude is Hanna. These people are ALWAYS around and work too be sure all is well and/or dealt with properly.

My Mom moved into Atria El Camino Gardens almost 2 years ago. To say she didnt want to be there and wanted to go home is an understatement. But after settling in her apartment, a number of the fantastic staff came by to talk with her. Mike, the great guy that takes everyone on those bus trips, went to her apartment and talked a long while with her. A number of staff came by to welcome her and comfort her.Ingrid Weber is an angel in disguise. She is so passionate about the people there and will do everything in her power to make your loved one feel welcome and the family very at ease. She has a 1,000 watt smile that she not only greets us with, but our Mom, too.Angelicia, or Gigi, as we call her, is also a beautiful person with the people who live there. On one bus trip to Thunder Valley, which my Mom had gone on many other times, there was a mistake on the paperwork that said she couldnt go without someone accompanying her. My Mom LOVES going to Thunder Valley and when she couldnt get on the bus she was very, very upset. Gigi saw her so upset and said wait a minute and checked on her status and saw that she was able to go. She went to my Moms room and told her to get her shoes on that she was going on the bus. Gigi, had the bus driver wait for her until her status was straightened out and got her on the bus and off she went. My Mom was so happy.Eric, the Executive Director is a kind man who will listen to your concerns, do everything in his power to resolve issues that the family may have. Thank you Eric. The dining room employees are very patient and most are very friendly. The white tablecloths, napkins, fresh flowers everyday are wonderful. They continue to work on the menu to try to please everyone,.I dont want to forget Elizabeth at the front desk. She is so helpful and kind in all the interaction we have ever had with her.I dont know all the staff, but find that they are friendly, helpful and very caring about the dear people who live there. My family and I thank each and everyone of the staff very much for a task that is not always easy, for sure.

Disappointed got us in with saying it would cost a little over our budget of $3,000 PLUS level 1 care or maybe two... at $450 per level. Then thank god they did an assessment before we signed, as per my request, as it ended up level 5 care additional $2250 a month... but we only have a max of level 6... oye vey. So there is also a $3000 initial community fee to be paid up front... end result about $8300 to move in without laundry fee or medicine fee. I am glad I read reviews about tack on fees. My mother left in tears as she liked the place but they drew us in with yes we can meet your budget and we can get you discounts if you sign before the new month. Reality we couldnt afford the place because of additional fees. Initial sales person Michelle wouldnt even see us before we left. We were told that even if we signed we couldve changed our minds based on final assessment.Shame on your sales people and referal companies that said your cost was low and affordable. You lied to a senior citizen that was hoping to get care for her last years.
