I have used this insurance company several times for travel insurance for my children. I have found the two representatives I have interacted with to be very professional, empathetic and to have excellent customer service experience. They respond very fast to questions or concerns and they do follow ups. My sales representative Ms. Violetta Wooster is simply the best. She is very efficient and effective and my claims representative is just the best.As it relates to how the deal with you making a claim after an emergency occurred, I will follow up and make a later review after my claim is resolved.

My trip to Italy was canceled and I had to rebook. Laura in customer service was quick to respond to my email inquiry. She worked with me to move my trip coverage to my new dates, so that I would not have to pay for another policy. I have absolute confidence that any questions or problems that I may encounter during my trip will be handled with the same professionalism and with deference given to the customer’s needs. It would have been easy in my particular situation for the company to not take any steps to help me, but they did and did so quickly. I will only buy trip insurance from them in the future. I travel frequently and am glad I found them.

He was able to tailor a policy that met the requirements of the specific country I am visiting (BVI) as well as provide some trip insurance as well. The cost was reasonable. We insured a very expensive trip that was cancelled and re-booked for a later dater due to COVID. Then the trip was cancelled without a re-booking. Seven Corners refunded in full with just the cancellation letter from the tour operator. I requested a full insurance refund given the non-event and within days was given a refund. A different insurance company requested endless correspondence regarding a different trip that was cancelled with no money lost - 6 months. It was exhausting. I have never had so fast a resolution as with Seven Corners.

I had a major trip planned that got cancelled due to Covid-19. I asked Seven Corners if they would refund the travel insurance premium, although I understood they did not have to since I had this policy for over 1 year. They refunded, 100%, no problem, no hesitancy, no hassle.Wow, I was shocked. In the past, I have used other national, big name travel insurance providers. When filing a claim, it was always a hassle with these others, sometimes waiting over 6 months for resolution. Not true with Seven Corners. They were fantastic! I got a refund within 10 days!They seem to be a very well managed company, small group, all activity and decisions done in house, and a pleasure to work with. They did the right thing, and as a result, they won me over for life. I will always use them when planning a trip! Thank you Seven Corners! We have had to cancel our European river cruise twice due to Covid-19. Each time Seven Corners stepped up and extended our policy to cover the new cruise dates. We are now rescheduled for April 2022, two full years after we originally bought this policy, and Seven Corners unhesitatingly extended it once again, without any additional cost. Thank goodness we originally selected them for trip insurance. We could not be more pleased with how well they have handled this unusual situation. This is certainly a difficult time for Seven Corners but they have always put their customers first. In todays world, that is a rare attitude. I am so impressed with how I was able to buy the insurance so easily and quickly, its coverage specifically in the plus package that provides medical cover for COVID-19 is really an attractive feature and its very reasonable. I am most happy about how I was able to get a response from customer care so promptly when my travel was cancelled and got my full refund back. Travel in such times is touch and people are hesitant to spend money but if there is such flexibility then its so encouraging. Agnes was the one that responded to me- she was super kind. I originally bought trip insurance for a trip to Mexico due to the COVID test requirement and need to quarantine if positive, but severe weather ended up being the extension to my trip. When my flight was canceled I contacted Seven Corners to verify my coverage and make sure there were no limitations before booking a hotel. When I submitted my claim, I included receipts for my taxi, food, and hotel that all totaled within my daily limits. They did end up needing additional information (copy of the credit card charges) which I promptly sent. From claim to payout, the total time was about 3 weeks. The process was easy and the experience was low stress. This is the first time I have actually used my trip insurance, but it was such an easy process and the company was transparent throughout. As one of the few travel insurance companies that cover COVID related trip delays, I cant recommend them more.

Just make sure you read the policy very careful before spending your money on travel insurance. The coverage for trip cancellation is limited to just a few reasons. In my case the travel agency cancelled due to airlines cancelling flights and … big surprise: that is not covered. So whats the point in having travel insurance?

You guys spend so much money on advertising bombarding me with ads and trying to make me buy your service and when Im here willing to spend my money on it and all I need is just a little bit of assistance in choosing a plan your sales team cant provide that. A team member was not helpful at all when I asked which plan should I go for with my specific requirements, and when I asked to forward my request to somebody senior then she just stopped communicating with me all together. If thats how potential customers are treated than is this how it would be if I actually bought a plan and then had an insurance case? Id be just chasing you guys? That is so unprofessional

Our travel plans included 9 months of travel to Thailand in 2021. After looking into a handful of companies, we learned that Seven Corners was the only one that engages primarily in insurance for travelers. Other companies may do business in the travel insurance market, but when talking to them we learned that they are limited in what they could provide due to the fact that their primary business is not travel insurance. Seven Corners was able to clearly explain the details of their policy and how it satisfied the requirements. Among the other companies we looked into, Seven Corners specifically has an option for medical coverage while using a motorbike. Since this is the most common means of transportation we use in Thailand, this was a great option to have. Other companies do not mention this detail, and may not even cover accidents while using a motorbike. The price was competitive and the purchase process was easy. The purchase process receives 5 stars.Our first interaction with Customer Service was also very good and receives 5 stars. Since we bought insurance from a non-Thai company, Thailand Immigration required a declaration form to be filled out by Seven Corners. 3 signatures were required by directors, company information and a reiteration of the policy coverage had to be written out onto this form provided by Thailand Immigration. Again, Seven Corners came through and filled out the form as requested. I read online that other insurance providers would not sign that form.Our second interaction with Customer Service also was a 5 star experience. Our travel date had to be postponed since our visas were not approved in time for our flight. After we rebooked our flight, we called Seven Corners and notified them of the change. They updated our documents within minutes and issued a refund for the daysthat we no longer needed coverage. No questions, no stress. Our compliments go to Shelly in Customer Care. She has handled all our questions, worries, and changes professionally and kindly.We currently are in thailand right now. We hope to never use the insurance. However, if a need arises, we would feel very comfortable contacting Customer Care.

With a post-COVID international trip awaiting us in a couple of weeks, we found ourselves scrambling to meet all of the new travel requirements. One such requirement was providing proof of insurance that would cover us internationally and specifically include COVID-19. After spending hours of research on the websites of our domestic insurance companies and not finding sufficient support for this requirement, we explored the option of separate coverage solely for our trip. Seven Corners was one of the recommended companies, and I decided to try them first. I cannot believe how easy it was to get this done, on a self-serve basis, in just minutes. They steered me in the right direction, including asking me if I wanted to specifically include COVID-19 coverage or not. I felt confident making the decision so quickly because of the reasonableness of the price and how comprehensive the documentation and breakdowns of information that were provided. Immediately I had my insurance cards, my coverage letter for my travel papers, purchase confirmation, summary of benefits, and a booklet with all of the coverage details and a reference to COVID coverage right on the cover. Why cant other companies do this --- Make things easy, give us what we need instead of what they want to sell, and offer so many ways and places to contact them for help? I would give them zero stars if I could. I purchased the travel insurance which I have never done before because I heard they are scams, but this was a $5,000 trip. Of course it got canceled and they don’t want to pay. I submitted a claim which they denied and tried to file a grievance. I also tried to get someone live but got cut off twice after waiting 15 minutes. This company is a scam with no customer support.

If there was less than one star i would give them -10Cheap company they are there just to not give you back your money .The other insurance companies they help you over the phone and they get every thing done with few mins.For this company you have to file a claim and get them documents cancel your trip.You would lose the convenient to cancel your trip for any reason you want.I had a medical condition and I went to my doctor to check out the reason then after doing some tests a week after give me a call let me know I need to go for a medical process and would not be a good idea to travel after that for 2 to 3 weeks, After that I insured my trip and I canceled it after the cancellation within two days I had my medical process and the week after that I get to car accident and even with all these facts they said sorry we cannot refund you we need to stick to our policy language and all of these happened before your insurance getting affected with anyone please tell me whats the point of having an insurance if you cannot use it.

Will change denial reasons repeatedly, after proven false. Then go back to the original denial reason, that you already debunked 7 months prior! Now I get to re-submit all the documents showing I told them I had other policies again, and again, and again!For the last 7 months, Seven Corners has denied me based on the belief that I returned items. After 2 independent investigations through G4S and Optima, 3 way phone calls with Amazon, and hours of going through each and every item they believed was returned sending an additional 72 pages of proof on top of the original 90.Seven Corners just today, after 7 months of this being Seven Corners only denial reason, re-denied me. Of course not on anything returned because Ive proven that, but they reverted to the original denial letter that claimed I had other providers that I did not tell them about. This was despite the fact that I have ALREADY proven THAT was false.I provided emails, investigation contacts, phone calls...you name it. I easily showed that from day one I had multiple policies through my emails and initial claim (I had 14 checked bags). On the initial claim report I listed that I had at least another policy (there is only room for 1). So, I then sent them each policy name, policy number, and their contact number. I gave them G4Ss investigators number who was doing an investigation with AMEX..so again, they knew I had other carriers. This was given BEFORE they made a decision the FIRST time. There is absolutely no reason, no sane person, could possibly misinterpret me as trying to conceal I had other policies! None. So, when they first claimed this in the initial denial, I showed them stacks of documentation, showing otherwise. Thats when they changed their denial reason to items being returned. NOW, after 7 months of using that denial reason, were back to step 1!Its absolutely maddening how they can this to people ethically. Not to mention, its completely illegal. Avoid at all costs. This insurance company seems fraudulent and sketchy. I went on a trip to SE Asia and got a terrible stomach bug. I had to be hospitalized and treated with 2 rounds of antibiotics (in beginning of January). I kept all of my medical receipts, pharmacy documents, hospital documents, doctor notes, etc. and submitted to seven corners via email. It is MAY 22nd and I just got an email that I need to update all my documents with my certificate number, which I PROVIDED ON ALL THE EMAILS. In a world with hundreds of other insurance companies, pick one that will 1) answer your calls and provide info on your claim status, 2) they will read emails and acknowledge you have already provided the requested info, 3) will ACTUALLY SERVE AS A TRAVEL INSURANCE.I regret purchasing their “elite” package. It has been 5 months and I have yet to receive a dime and today is the first time I have received any communication from them. Highly disappointed and will never purchase insurance through this company again.

I am very lazy in giving a review on something unless I am super impressive. I purchased seven corners insurance for my in-laws visiting USA. When my father-in-law was admitted in hospital, the hospital management looked at the seven corners insurance and they said it was the best insurance plan we took. What they said is right and 100% correct. The claim process was such a simple and we did not have to involve anywhere. The claim process was direct between hospital and the insurance and we had to pay a final bill to hospital that was not covered. It was such an amazing experience with these people and really cant thank enough and I referred my friends to purchase the same insurance for their families visiting USA

My daughters experience in Cambodia was that it did not. Happily, after submitting the receipts and reports, the insurance was paid out in a timely manner. I was going on a 33 day cruise to South America and was offered the trip insurance. Best decision I ever made not just because I was covered but because of how professional and easy Seven Corners made the entire process.While on the cruise there was a flu outbreak and I had to go and see the ships doctor. Anybody who has been on a cruise knows the ships doctor charge is excessive. However when you dont feel well, you over look the cost and utilize the medical resources. I actually didnt think about my travel insurance when I was sick and in my mind just bit the bullet and went. After returning from the cruise I was going through all my saved e mail communication from the cruise line / excursions / and Severn Corners. I glanced at the trip insurance and what was covered and noticed medical. I simply filled out and supplied the requested documentation and e mailed it to Seven Corners. The process was quick and I felt completely fair in regarding documentation requested. Within less than a week I received an email that they had accepted the charges and that I would be receiving a check in the mail for the entire doctor visit.Obviously I was pleased but most of all was sold on the fact that any travels in the future I was going to make sure that I purchased travel insurance because one never knows whats going to happen. And with the professional touch and ease of filing with Seven Corners, why wouldnt you do the right thing and cover yourself with a travel policy ?

Peace of mind. I have purchased the travel medical/dental for our team members for multiple trips for our team to China - never had to use it but its an incredible bargain for that peace of mind that our team have their needs taken care of while overseas especially when US coverage does not respond. Since I havent had to make a claim I can only comment on the process of researching and purchasing my travel insurance. It was very easy to find what I needed and get a quote. I only needed the medical portion since I already have travel interruption protection on my credit card. The website is attractive and easy to navigate. After submitting the documentation needed, Seven Corners quickly paid the amount we had not been reimbursed without any questions. DO NOT BUY INSURANCE FROM THEMThis company is an absolute joke. We purchased travel insurance in January of 2020 for a wedding in Costa Rica (insurance cost us $128). We had to cancel the trip because of the national lockdown during COVID-19 and they denied our claim because a pandemic is not covered by their insurance. Insurance companies are the absolute worst, and this one takes the cake. They are the most unethical company I have ever dealt with and I will be telling everyone I know to NEVER use Seven Corners for any insurance needs. So instead of refunding our $1200 back for the flights and room deposit, they are going to lose WAY more future money from all the people I know and refer to companies I like. Take advantage of people while they are losing their jobs and could really use their (deserved) travel insurance refund - PATHETIC. Hope this is one of the companies that permanently goes under from this because they are absolutely useless anyway.I advise ANYONE who was denied a claim from them to leave a 1-star review here. Lets flood their reviews and tank their rating so more people will avoid them moving forward since they are so unethical and disgusting.

Online service is super quick. Customer care over phone is pretty standard. If your question off their notes, you will most likely be pissed at their too-standard policy language instead of actually understanding and helping their customer. But, their claims process is pretty neat. And, with recent buy out/merge with United Health, Seven Corners has a great network of hospitals. Perfect for J1 and J2s wanting a quick, but comprehensive health care.

Signed up for insurance via their website. Read around about the best travel insurance companies and their named popped up. The quoting process was straightforward and their prices are in line with the other companies I researched. The payment was easy and policy documents sent to my inbox with minimal fuss. Its great to have piece of mind while booking a huge trip. Hopefully I will not need to use the claims process, but if I do I am confident they will pay out per their policy.

SEVEN CORNERS DOENT REFUND THE MEDICAL EXPENSESThe worst customer service in my whole life, they gave me bad information when I was sick in the US. I had a fever and seven corners led me to 3 hospitals that supposedly had coverage with my insurance and that when I was going to ask the hospital I realized that it was not like that. Moreover, they said on a call they will pay me back the expenses for the doctors attention and the purchase of the medicines and now they have only returned the payment of the doctor’s attention and they refuse to pay me the cost for the purchase of medicines. To this we could include that in the whole process of attention and claim, the customer service executives intentionally hung up the call six times. Dont use their services, is waste your money!!!

I like that Seven Corners offers 2 options; it makes it quicker to look over both and decide. There are merits to both options and the prices for them are really good, better than a lot of others. I scuba dive and even the basic package allows for coverage (there are conditions).Reasonable rates and solid coverage even under the basic package.I will definitely use them again and recommend them.

I always buy the travel insurance from seven corners. It was over ten years ago when I got it first. Fortunately I never needed to use but finally this time, i had to use it. I had to buy the travel insurance due to the international move. This time I have family members as well. Whole family (2 adult and 2 kids) were covered and it was only$163 for the whole one month.My son had a head injury and had to go to the hospital and the bill was over $4,000. It was all covered by seven corners. We didnt even need to pay a penny ahead. I know some might have bad reviews but if you buy the right plan for you (I always call to make sure if it is right for us) you shouldnt be having problems.I really appreciate that they were super fast to take care of our bill as well. I highly recommend it for your trip. And thank you again seven corners... Cannot appreciate enough...!

Affordable rates, and easy to arrange. Just dont expect them to ever pay out. They have asked me twice now for medical records that I submitted along with my original reimbursement request. All my expences went into collections So I ended up paying out of pocket and have not yet been reimbursed for an incident in the first week of July

My flight was delayed 3 hours and then cancelled. I called seven corners to discuss my options and the representative was of no assistance at all. It seemed she had no experience with my situation and i felt like I was talking to a robot that just repeated quotes from my policy. I understand what it says but I needed to know what it MEANT and they were no help and only added more stress. My flight was cancelled after a 3 hour delay and the fine print in my policy states that coverage for cancellations only kicks in after a 6 hour delay. Typical of insurance companies, the policy is confusing and strategically worded to maximize profits and this is just more evidence of that. Keep in mind that few planes are going to be delayed 6 hours and still fly. In the time sensitive moments following the flight cancellation, I needed basic info related to my policy but was only told to file a claim. That would have been fine but I was told a claim would take up to a MONTH to process so in that moment I received no assistance and had no reassurance any new costs would or would not be covered by my policy. So read the fine print. Overall Terrible, Untrustworthy, Horrible Customer Service, will never use again.Update: seven corners contacted me. The director listened to my call and literally stated that the Rep. provided all the correct info and was helpful. Sadly, this might satisfy their internal service standards but none of my questions were answered in that critical moment and I was left without any resolution. I was only told to file a claim over and over. I CANNOT WAIT A MONTH in an airport while my claim is processing. I needed answers to very basic questions. SIMPLE QUESTIONS. I might as well been talking to an automated system stuck on repeat.
