Being able to work out 24 hrs is cool if you dont mind working out at the same time as a dozen scrawny high school kids with no shirts on camping out in groups on the equipment.The available machines were very nice.Edit to the owners reply:How about no? Have a 2 star review instead. PF is the gym with the lunk alarm and dress code, genius. I shouldnt have to be a Karen and tell on the kids. Do your job friend.

Great gym for weights and cardio! Its never really overcrowded and most people dont horde the weights. Always clean and have paper towels and cleaning spray bottles. The locker rooms have plenty of lockers (bring your own which I prefer) and there are showers as well as toilet areas.

After a year away from gyms due to the pandemic, its nice to be back. PF has a large number and variety of quality equipment and friendly staff. My only critique would be in regards to the locker rooms. I find the mens locker room to be rather disgusting and its not an amenity Ill likely ever make use of because of that. Otherwise, this is a good place to workout.

Best club in town hands down..... from the overnight closers to the daytime staff... hands down the best place to workout. You can’t beat joining a gym of any kind for $10, but add in another $10 and you have unlimited tanning and massages? Whatever. Fantastic break in the day, like a mini vacation away from the grind each time you go in. 100%

Location closes randomly without any notice to its members. Happened twice over the past 5 days now. Otherwise, a decent location and friendly staff. Was closed on 3/23 and 3/28. Tried calling and checked website on 3/28 and no indication that location was closed.

Beautiful place! Well maintained. Part of the facility has a large atrium glass ceiling. Great on sunny days.

The manager, Rochelle, and her staff, especially Riley, are amazing. The club is so clean. I have been coming to PF for years and by far this is the best customer service, they help with everything. If you have any questions they are always available. They seem to know every client by name. It is very personal and professional and that is unusual for other PFs that I have been too!! Big shout out!!!!!

I chose to join Planet because it is cheap and has what I want, and I chose the Carmel location because reviews said it is clean. I agree that it is clean and the staff is wonderful, however, other members to not follow mask rules as much as they should. Masks are required when walking around/between machines!!! People need to follow the rules, or this needs to be enforced!

Good but makes fun of strong people

Overly crowded during todays times. Lots of people using freewights in the way of the cable machines which makes quite it quite a hassle to switch to another piece of equipment. Over all I left halfway through my workout and went to a different location.

I wish I could bench and squat without having to use the smith machines but other than that it is a great facility!

Arrived just before 5pm and the place was quite a bit busier than normal but still plenty of room to workout and keep the social distancing. Guess alot of people have made new years resolutions this year.

Im going to sound like I am a paid to leave a review like this but I assure you I am not. The gym in my opinion was outstanding. Very very clean. The staff was efficient and competent. I worked with Laura at the front desk who informed me that I could get a guest pass online while I was visiting Carmel fromTampa. Everything ran smoothly. It took seconds to scan me in. The equipment is brand new. The mens locker room was immaculate. If I lived here I would be a member for sure. I would check it out if I were you

Clean and well maintained equipment

This Planet Fitness location is absolutely wonderful! I have been going there for two years now and have interacted with several staff members and managers. Everyone has been very kind and even remembered my name despite being gone for school. The facility is very nice and is constantly being cleaned. I have the Black Card membership card and I thoroughly enjoy all the extra benefits. I use the tanning beds and hydromassage beds regularly and I can truly tell a difference in my workouts. As an Athletic Trainer, I enjoy treating myself to a massage and taking care of my body! The extra $10 is well worth it.

Great workout facility - super clean, and not too crowded in the mornings. Free weights up to 120 and barbells up to 60. Great value for the price.

Most of us cannot return to the gym because we are COVID high risk. It would have been proper business to send out notifications as to when you were going to start charging people again AND also the 40.00 annual fee. But you expect people to sit around looking at their gym contracts to figure out when their annual fee is due. Wonder how much you made off people with your business negligence. That fee is still pending on my bank account and you couldnt even remove it. You all suck!

As other reviewers have alluded, this location is OUTSTANDING! Top to bottom. Equipment, cleanliness, air quality, TVs, and staff. Westfield ownership, management, and general employees need to take a field trip and see how their location should be running. Kudos to Carmel location!!!

Nice clean environment. It’s never been too crowded that you can’t accomplish the goals within your time frame but there is always a steady flow of people. Nice options of equipment and workout platforms. Staff has been nice as well as clientele. Reason for 4 stars is I haven’t used all their services to fairly evaluate overall and I wish their was a larger space for “stretching”.

Wonderful service, love the selection of equipment. Really enjoy the 30 minute circuit on my lunch break! Hate that the Fitness equipment only syncs to Apple but not Android to track fitness..j.

Great location! Enjoy working out there and equipment is good. Excellent value for the cost. The reason for 3 stars is the men’s rest room is nasty on a daily basis. Water from showers run all over the floor, soap dispenser out, shower heads limed up, sink top has so much standing water you can’t set anything down, never clean. Water cooler, water is always warm?? I have mentioned these concerns but falls on deaf ears. If these issues can be corrected I will give you 5 stars.

Super welcoming and everyone that works there is always so friendly! The gym itself is rather new, so the machines are in great condition. It’s a nice size gym with plenty of equipment to go around. Absolutely love it!

The staff is very friendly! Sometimes seems their communication with each other isn’t the best, BUT overall a great place. Very clean. Very reasonably priced. There is an annual fee, but still the cost is reasonable! Gym, trainer, hydrotherapy bed, message chair, tanning, & more for $22/month plus the annual $40 fee (I think that’s the price). Plenty of lockers (bring a lock), showers, spacious locker room. Love this place!

Great gym. I haven’t been a gym member in 20 years. I went as a guest with someone else first and loved getting back to working out regularly so I signed up. The staff is great and the facility is clean. Plenty of things of do there to keep it interesting.

I love the TBE and tanning featuresThe machines are up to date and there are plenty of machines to use.Reason for 4 stars - I wish there were more Mirrors in front of the machines and in the stretching rooms. It truly is a judgment-free zone! I was soured on gyms because the one I belonged to in the past was a dress-to-impress situation. At Planet Fitness people are there just to workout and to me that’s just fantastic.

No month to month contract. Best price per month that you can find in Hamilton County for a gym. $10 option or $20 option depending on certain options.Never had any issue getting on any cardio machines. Smaller amount of free weights, but enough dumbbells and adjustable benches to satisfy.Only down side for this wanting to lift might be lack of that bench press, only option is Smith machine(s).Can also get massage machine and suntan machine that I havent tried.

I visit many PF locations. I really enjoy this location. Always plenty of equipment. The message rooms are set up in a way to really relax. The price is right. The staff currently here is really friendly.

This is a great gym! Its always clean and all the equipment is new and works perfectly. When I had to cancel my membership I just had to stop in for a few minutes, sign something and that was it.

Lied about annual fee even though gym was closed for all those months. In my opinion, we shouldn’t of had to pay it if the gym was closed that whole time or at least cut it in half. When I went to talk about it, I got an attitude the whole time.

Just recently joined. Great value for the price. The staff is friendly, the facility is clean and its not overpopulated with patrons during the times I like to use it.

Joined early 2017 as a black card member.. the machines are well maintained.. definitely worthy of the monthly fee.. was a CrossFit member before joining here and comparing the fees, this is much less and if you are ready to use it, will be great deal.. Treadmills have a time limit if 60 minutes set.. if that can be removed, would help people training for marathons

The facility is okay. There are no free weights and a lot of missing aspects of what a gym usually includes. The staff manager has gotten mad at my wife or me almost every time we have come in. The rest of the staff must learn from her because several of them are the same way. It is a negative atmosphere. I am definitely finding another gym.

Good equipment in the Planet Fitness. I wish the Bikes would be a little more updated. Spin clips and more manual. Can’t get a good spin when you can’t stand up and really go at it.

Great facility I only wish there was a more dedicated stretching area. In the current one the walls are lined with machines. So to use the mats to stretch youre basically in the middle of the room which feels awkward. There should also be mirrors to check your positioning.

Great gym and a good environment. The place is very clean and the staff is friendly. They have a large selection of machines and there are free weights. The 30 minute complete workout room is my favorite feature.

Have been a member for a little over a year. I live almost exactly halfway between this location and the one in Fishers. What a difference between the two. I was in the Carmel location two days ago, and noticed a woman on her hands and knees near the entrance to the mens locker room, cleaning. I took a moment to tell her how much I appreciated how clean they keep the gym. I stopped by the front desk and asked for the manager to show my appreciation. The person at the front desk said our manager is over by the mens locker room entrance, cleaning. Thank you!

My hubby and I have coined this spot Planet Purple for obvious reasons if youve been. They are kind of limited on some equipment, but there is enough there to get the job done as a secondary gym option for sure :-). Its fairly clean and its cheap, so not too bad.

Was a member here from the time they opened.... I am now a Black Card Member and I visit other locations, but this Gym is one of the nicer locations.. Lots of room, newer equipment.... No worries with the crowd, can be crowded at peak hours, after work or on weekends.... Recommended if you are planning on simply joining and not becoming a Black Card Member.... Especially if you planning on using the elliptical or cycles...... Older locations sometimes have older equipment.......limited available machines, etc.....Summer is almost here...... No wantum to be out of shape , pale face..... No they dont have an Indian mascott..........

For some reason planet fitness seems to have a bad reputation as being a gym for people who dont actually work out. However, it is a good clean gym with a lot of equipment and more than most people actually need. So, its a really great gym.

I really am disappointed with Planet Fitness. Initially I had left a five star review because the location worked out perfectly and they had all that both my wife and I needed. The issue; however, is after we moved and we needed to cancel our membership. What is the point of paying $20 a month if Im not going there right? So when we go to make our cancelation they decide that this is a good time to bring out a $30 late fee from March of this year? No emails, no calls, no nothing to notify us that I guess they were having some issue with our bank? We were never late before and didnt realize that this even occurred because we were not notified. Irritating right? What made our experience from bad to worse was the guy handling our cancelation when we voiced our frustration he made a joke out of it and said, Well if you were at a place like LA Fitness Im sure they would have had a staff that would have called and let you know. But dont worry after this you wont lose anymore your moneys (Apparently the word money is not already plural) We would have considered coming back or recommend this place to our friends and family but quite frankly according to their own staff we should go somewhere else. Thanks for the heads up we wont be wasting anymore of our time and moneys here.

Talked to a manager named Rachel here and she was openly rude to her employees and openly sexist towards men saying the world would be better without men and men are the root of all problems in the world. After taking a tour she then pressured and pressured to sell a membership (which I wasnt going to buy because of her) and got frustrated with me and rolled her eyes when I said I needed to go think about it. I would not recommend this planet fitness because if the management is allowed to act like that then theres no telling how the employees act! Worst experience ever!

Went to cancel my membership after nearly 2 years of being a customer only to be greeted by an unwelcoming employee. Then I was informed that I was required to pay for an additional month of service that I would not be able to utilize because I failed to cancel by the 10th of the month. You would think that they would want customers to come back in the future instead of being turned away by a money hungry system.

Excellent location with great equipment and friendly staff. Very clean and focused on getting a workout for the customer. Excellent.

Clean, friendly, plenty of equipment. The facility has high ceilings and skylights. The tanning beds are what youd pay 40+ dollars a month for at a tanning salon. Its half the cost and better than any gym Ive been to yet.

First time sign up of my daughter took twice as long as it should have because employee kept stopping and helping other people. Very annoying and taking valuable time from us.

Great machine choices, free training, weights, a place and mats for floor exercises, bands room, 30 minute workout room. Very reasonably priced.

A very well maintained facility with friendly staff. Its a large space with lots of equipment. I rarely if ever need to wait for anything even at peak times.

I like all that this new place has to offer & the convenience of a Carmel PF. This location is still a work in progress with a few maintenance issues still under way. However, the staff are friendly and a lot has improved since their first week. Even the guy at the front desk Who on my first day in after surgery in December who said tick toc..tic toc... because I was walking slowly coming in is nicer. I am changing my rating from 2 stars to 4 now. Bravo OF Carmel

This is the stupid gym I ever been to. The motto of the company is to cheat the customers. They made it so difficult to cancel the membership and they keep charging you until you do. When you ask them about this, They will refer to the stupidest contract rules only they can understand. They dont have enough equipment to do as well.

It is a gym with a reasonable fee. Everything is kept clean.

So convenient! My only wish was that they were open 24/7, but 24/5 is still awesome.
