I am extremely grateful for Vine Healthcare. We have seen at least 13 doctors for my 9 year old daughter with Autism. Finally answers to her most confusing issues and a doctor who knows how to treat them. She has always had trouble taking the vitamins and medications prescribed before. When I was a little girl I was was born with a skin condition Nevus comedonicus, that would spread as I got older. I highly recommend Dr. Ellen and the entire staff at Vine Healthcare. They’re a refreshing change if you’ve been dealing with symptoms that other doctors can’t seem to figure out or if you’ve been told, “You’re just depressed...It’s all in your head...Take this prescription...etc, etc, etc.” Dr. Ellen uncovered conditions that were severely impacting my quality of life because she was willing to look beyond the traditional standard of care. I particularly appreciate that she will give you solutions to treat your problems at the root instead of just masking symptoms. She will really listen. And she is empathetic because Dr. Ellen doesn’t recommend any treatment that she wouldn’t use herself/with her own family. Vine Healthcare has changed my entire family’s life. I am living a much better life in spite of having autoimmune disease. I have been a patient at Vine Health care for a couple years now. When I first went to Vine, I was very ill. I was very weak. I had severe hormonal deficiencies, immunity issues, food allergies, anxiety issues, and gut issues. I couldnt sleep, focus or concentrate on anything. I could not work because I could not function. I had been told over and over by other Drs that my problems were too complicated. I cant explain the frustration I felt in life. I was desperate for help. My worst fear was that I would just be put on pharmaceuticals and nothing be done to actually address and fix my issues. I knew I wanted to see a functional Dr because I understood that nutrition had to be an essential part of healing and functional Drs understand this fact too. So I made an appointment to see Dr. Ellen Antoine. It has changed my life. Over the coarse of time, even though she has acknowledged that my situation is complicated, she has patiently worked with my body. Giving it the time and resources it needs to heal. She has never hastily treated me with drug therapy, but has always treated my body in a natural healing way, giving it the time to respond. And my body takes a long time!! She addressed my hormonal deficiencies, my nutritional issues and gut issues. This in turn has helped clear up several of the other issues I was having. Her bed side manner is caring, loving, and kind, but serious. She takes my health seriously and does not miss any details. My loved ones cannot believe the difference in me. My quality of life is so much better. I am now working again. I help with volunteer disaster relief, helping people rebuild their homes. Last year, I began section backpacking the Appalachian trail. I never even had the energy to walk a mile on flat ground let alone, hike 12 miles a day, in the mountains, with 35 lbs on my back. I have now completed 3 states on the trail. I run now in different events, I do strength training classes, the list goes on and on. I feel I have so much to do to make up for the time I was so sick, because I feel so much better now. It truly has been life-changing !! And even though I am still healing and working to improve even more, I know I will get there. I am so thankful I found Dr Antoine. Her and her staff are amazing!!!
