Dr. Youkilis, Jen, & Christina are the best!! I was a new patient but they could not have been more kind, courteous, & professional to my wife, Laine, & me. Dr. Youkilis thoroughly evaluated my situation & quickly got to the point of my problem. Under the circumstances he wants to reevaluate me in 6 weeks to make sure I am doing well. Dr. Beach has been my family’s ENT doctor & surgeon & has done different surgeries for different problems on my family members & myself! Dr Youkilis is one our states top doctors for ENT. He has been featured in many publications. But the articles don’t capture his expertise, his professionalism, communication, and his compassion for his patients. I have been his patient for at least 5-6 years. I believe he was instrumental in saving my life. I have HPV in my sinus cavities. My sinus system, bones, had eroded from the massive polyps. I believe I haven’t developed cancer do to the polyps because Dr Youkilis’s experience. One more thing it’s a 2.5 hour round trip for me to see him but worth everything. And get your children vaccinated against HPV.

Dr. Youkilis is clearly an expert in his field and I appreciated his knowledgeable and no BS approach. I felt comfortable trusting him to perform my Septoplasty/Turbinoplasty. I’m 3 weeks post-op and have had no unexpected issues or problems and I can FINALLY FULLY BREATHE!! It’s hard to believe how much work he did and how fast I’ve healed. I’m so grateful to Northside ENT!

Great experience! I had the new Clarifix procedure to get my nose to stop running all the time. Dr. Youkilis is very skilled, and Im well pleased with the results of the procedure. Would recommend him and this procedure for anyone suffering from a constantly running nose!

Dr. Youkilis has changed my quality of life for the better, and I cannot recommend Northside ENT enough. I came to him with chronic sinusitis and immense nasal issues. He was clear and honest about my treatment plan, letting me know that he would likely have to go back in and do more maintenance work that would ultimately lead me to feeling like myself again. His team made me feel special and like they cared about me as a person. Dr. Youkilis was the one calling me with my results and checking on me after surgery, not a receptionist who did not know my chart. His care is personal and effective.

Ive never been a customer/patient of a place where my experience differs so greatly from the average score on Google reviews. Ive read a lot of the negative reviews here and most seem to stem from scheduling/responsiveness/etc. Ive been a patient here for about 5 years and Ive never had any issues with any of that. I have always been pleased with all the administrative parts of Northside ENT. Its been very easy for me to make an appointment and it was easy to start as a new patient. The people up front behind the check in desk are always very kind.In terms of patient care, I cant say enough about how great they are. I have been receiving immunotherapy for allergies for 5 years. I was severely allergic to basically every form of plant life, dogs, cats and dust mites. My allergy attacks have been completely eliminated.I also had three different structural issues with my nose that were corrected in a single surgery by Dr. Beach. He did an outstanding job and the results so far have been life altering, enabling me to breathe so much easier. It seems like I can taste and smell better too. Dr. Beach and the staff there show a great deal of care for their patients. They take their time and always answer every question I have to make me feel comfortable about understanding their plan to help me. Ive never once felt rushed, which is always my number one pet peeve with any doctor.Northside ENT is absolutely five stars.

I had a CT scan in October at the office. It’s been 2 months and I have yet to receive an update with the results of this scan. I’ve called the office 4 times and either spoken to someone who said someone would call me or left a voicemail asking for a returned call. I’ve even gone into the office to pick up my mother’s records and asked about the CT scan results. Nothing. This is unacceptable. I do not recommend this practice. I plan to request a copy of my CT scan and take it to another ENT for further assessment and treatment.

Dr. Bruggers and the staff at Northside ENT were great with my 11 month-old during her consultation, surgery, and follow-up appointments. We have never had to wait long in the waiting room, and they have always had us in and out of the office in a timely manner. We highly recommend them for any little ones with ear infections needing tubes!

OMG I really dont know where to begin. Doctor YOUKILLIS IS the best doctor Ive meet ever...the reason why? I met him in 2019 and I had seen 8 E.N.Ts 8 and none of them ...none of them has gone ABOVE and Beyond...like he has....trying to figure out what is wrong...hes ran test ...done a sinus surgery...ordered 2 compound medicine, and sent this last test to the lab, and today February 5th, and I hope im not speaking to soon, but I believe this is it. . Waited over a week to see Dr Hackett for troubles with my throat (painful swallowing, etc). Once in the room, he spent 2 minutes looking at my throat, told me to get a COVID test (even though I was experiencing no symptoms and had a negative test on me to show him), and made me leave. Wasted days $$$ for a 2 minute visit. Ended up going somewhere else to a trained ENT who was able to easily able to diagnose the problem and help get me on track to feeling better.PLEASE do not go here if you can find another ENT in the area.

I was very pleased with my appointment with Dr. Hackett. Both he and his assistant were incredibly nice and funny. I really appreciated his bluntness (This is going to hurt as opposed to the usual and inaccurate This may sting a bit that you get from most medical professionals). He did a really nice job explaining things and made me feel very comfortable. My appointment was at 4:00 p.m. and I was back in the parking lot at 4:20 p.m.! I would certainly recommend Dr. Hackett for anyone in need of an ENT specialist.

This office disappoints me. My right ear has been ringing for a few days and I am trying to schedule an earlier appointment. I was told that I had to stick with the same doctor. I tried to explain this is a new situation and there is no need to stick to the same doctor. Still, my request for an alternative doctor for an earlier appointment was denied.

As a new patient, I checked in with the receptionist for my appointment and was stunned at how rude she was. I didn’t get her name because she was so extremely confrontational that I was 10 minutes early instead of 15 minutes early. This was due to my taking off work and traveling from the opposite side of town being new to finding their office. She refused my appointment with such a bad attitude. There is really no way for me to describe how badly she acted towards me leaving me to realize that I would Never want to deal with such an absurd attitude on a regular basis. She is a Bad representative for what is probably a good doctor. So sad.

I came in today hopeful that I could get some relief from my vertigo. He said I didnt have vertigo and that I needed a neurologist. I told him my symptoms and he had no real answers. I was very upset and will not go back. I wasted an hour drive.

Total waste of time. Not only did it take me over two weeks to get an appointment with a referral from my doc, I showed up for my appointment on time and they said they couldnt see me that day because I hadnt filled out my paperwork on their website ahead of time, which no one informed me was a requirement, or shown up 30 min ahead of my appointment. Now I get to go search for a different ENT to get relief for my ear pain. Shame on me for not looking ahead of time and seeing that they have a 3 star review on Google and at least four other reviews from people that had the same exact experience that I had. Not a great sign for health care provider that they value paperwork policies over actual care of their patients

I will be finding a new ENT. The office and professionalism of the staff is HORRENDOUS! Have tried to give them a chance after 2 bad experiences but to be told Im getting a call back and it never happen and unfriendly office staff; I can find another office that will treat me the way a patient should be treated. Dr Bruggers has been a great doctor but if I cant ever see him then its a waste of time. Hope they get things figured out before they lose more patients.

I was very disappointed in my last visit. We will no longer be coming to this office. We have been seeing Dr. Hackett for over 11 years with all three of our children, and recently my son was seen just over a month ago. In all of our MANY appointments, we have never been late and weve paid our bills. Yesterday, we arrived ON TIME to our appointment; however, because I did not read through my reminder email, I missed that we needed to be there a half hour early to fill out paperwork for my daughter. So since we didnt get there a half hour prior to our appointment time, we had to reschedule. I understand their policy; however, we have NEVER been late and this was the first time (but technically we were not late). In honor of their patients, they should have been more understanding, letting my daughter still be seen while I filled out the paperwork. It only took me 15 minutes to complete the paperwork and there was no one in the waiting room. Instead of the policy being enforced, they should have accommodated our family since we have been patients for over 11 years. The father in this family is a dentist with a high-functioning dental practice and he agreed that this was a very bad oversight on their office. Due to the lack of personal touch, we will be going elsewhere.

Our doctor, Dr. Seth Bruggers is truly one of the sweetest people I have ever met. Our 16 month old needed tubes. He carried Myles back to the OR himself along with Myless tablet so hed have his music until he was asleep. The nurse in the office and at the Carmel Specialty Surgery Center were just as amazing! Dave was the nurse in the office and he was very warm and welcoming. Valerie at the surgery center was so incredibly sweet and you could tell she really cared about Myles and a for me as a mama being nervous. Heck, even the administrative gal was kind, happy and patient... and well, sadly that is almost never the case with front office people.

I was prescribed a nasal steroid for an issue I have with my hearing. The steroid spray did nothing but make my issues/allergies much worse. I was not told what the side effects would be by the doctor I saw and I thinks thats a serious oversight. I had to stop taking the medication a few days after my appointment.I was also not notified at all that I owed any money. No bill was sent by mail or to my e-mail. 3 months later, I received a 10 day notice to pay a $144 medical bill I never even knew about.The bill was no issue as I had the money to pay it and I did assume after my appointment I would be charged some kind of a cost with the insurance I have. However, its a bit frustrating not to even receive a medical bill until months after the initial appointment, and then receiving a pretty threateningly worded payment reminder about a past due medical bill.I would advise people to ask what the side effects of any medication your prescribed by a medical professional are if they dont give them to you upfront.

This practice is one of the most professional, well put together, well run, and most knowledgeable practices that Ive had the pleasure to be served at.Ive had a persistent health problem for years, that within 5 minutes of examination the doctor was able to identify, asure me is not cancer, and prescribe a treatment that will completely remediate my symptoms.Thank you doctor--you have changed my life and I will never be able to repay you.

I highly recommend Dr. Hackett at Northside ENT. Friendly, caring, knowledgeable and straightforward. He previously treated 2 other family members, and all were very happy. Dr. Hackett diagnosed by throat cancer 3 years ago, and over many visits, he and his staff have taken the time I need, and referred me to the best ancillary care I could get. I am very pleased to recommend him and his practice.

I got disappointed after seen bill for 383$ all what they did ask me 10 questions and says(avoid stress and take ibuprofen) its not take even 10 minutes the checkup my bill ID 2000298. Anyway my family doctor not believed their story because eardrum pain goes worst so I changed my doctor because I believe he has no idea about ear and I canceled my upcoming appointment because I don’t wanna throw my money again. By the way i have much better life then my doctor i am the last one who can got stress .i have advice for anyone when go there and sign papers make sure they not charging you 275$ for new patient fee. Thats crazy i know.

When I read reviews, I disregard them. But they were all totally true. I got appoinment almost 3 weeks ago for frustrating noise. (I can get earliest only 3 weeks later. SO busssyyyy!)They gave me appoinment for 2 pm. But they scheduled another appoinment at 1:30 pm. But I should go there around 1 pm. Who knows it? ONLY them!!! When I arrived around 1:30. They have one lady at front desk, not patient helper and so rude and not problem solver! They only said SORRY. Their fault. I left to work early. She cancelled my appoinment and she wants to give another appoinment after 3 weeks. I will never go there! If I were you, listen these reviews.

We left before we saw the doctor. You better have your paperwork done before you arrive or you will suffer the wrath of the receptionist. I quietly explained that my special-needs son had a medical issue before we left, which put us behind. Even so, we were there nine minutes before our appointment time. I was so relieved wed made it! But the treatment we received was uncalled for. She was rude, condescending, and unprofessional.

Dr. Hackett is the best. I drive 72 miles round trip for my children to see him. My kids have both needed surgery to remove their tonsils and adenoids removed. I wouldnt let anyone but Dr. Hackett operate on my children. One child also has hearing issues. I was truly amazing at the care and success my child has had because of Dr. Hackett. He really is the best! He has been listed as one of Indianas top doctors for countless years.

I am definitely impressed with Dr. Bruggers. He is attentive, knowledgeable, concise, and jovial.I will say I agree with some of the other comments the the front desk needs a Huge Customer Service lesson and check. Its imperative to a practice or any business to have good front desk staff. If you are not nice you will not have patients want to return. I thought the checkout gal was alright, a little quiet, but nice enough.My experience was just OK. The front desk was not very welcoming and a little cold.I had trouble with the software. Its nice to have because its electronic and easy, but the trouble is there seems to be a defect and if you complete on the mobile phone its not saved and as a new patient that is something that should be shared.I could sense the front desk gal was annoyed, but I explained I already completed the paperwork online. She said they were having issues. I kindly suggested to share that info, as I overheard another patient complaining about the same exact problem.My rating is so high because Br. Bruggers is awesome! He is a great doctor with great personal skills and good bedside manner! Very smart and knows his stuff.I liked the nurses that took my blood pressure and the one taking notes, they both were friendly.I am going to have my sinus surgery with him, so I will re-post after I have the surgery.

Not impressed. I had an appointment for weeks about a loss of hearing Ive had. I was starting to get sick that day with sinus. Dr. Beach and his assistant came in and pretty much looked at my ears, nose and through and said my hearing loss is probably from my sinus infection. Hello? I had the issue before I got sick. I left with a prescription for Musenix Day and Night. The doctor didnt even personally ask any questions to me. An assistant comes in with a computer and asked questions about my symptoms. The doctor just went through the motions. I come from a family of doctors and this guy treated me like another day in the office. I recommend another office.

Went in for may appointment yesterday and was told the doctor had cancelled all of his afternoon appointments. They said they tried to call me - one on an old number I have twice had them update, and another on a valid cell number. There were no missed calls or voicemails on the cell. I would steer clear of this practice - one has to wonder why they would misrepresent something like that - causes one to question how solid their ethics are by saying they did something they did not.

I think Northside ENT ripped me off. I went in for an office visit, told them I had no insurance, and they told me it would be $200. I had an office visit, and the doctor looked at my throat with a scope after pre-diagnosing me with Muscle Tension Dysphonia. He recommended I see his colleague in the adjacent office for voice therapy. I decided to hold off on this.Approx. two weeks later I received a bill from them on the amount of $522.00; apparently the office visit was $722. I accuse them of being non transparent or deceptive in their charges for services. Im sure they are genuinely ripping off the insurance companies and raising everyones insurance rates. Hopefully someone will put and end to the highway robbery that doctors are able to get away with soon. I would not go here!

I unfortunately never got into my appointment at Northside ENT. I showed up a few minutes before my appointment and was not welcomed very graciously (which is okay, I understand people are busy/distracted). She asked my name and when I told her she responded well since its time for your appointment we probably cannot get you in today... I was quite confused but she said she would check. Came back and said no we cannot get you in today. Took a day off of work to come in and was turned away. It was quite disappointing. I cannot comment on the doctors who work there.

I am really appalled at how poorly I was just treated by Northside ENT. I saw Dr. Youkilis 2 weeks ago for ongoing throat issues. He went over treatment for LPR, which is what I probably have, and also suggested that I see a voice therapist who could help me not strain my voice so much when trying to talk. I asked if I needed to call to schedule that (because every other referral Ive had recently, the doctors office that I was referred to has contacted me to schedule the appointment). I could have misunderstood, but I thought his response was that the voice therapist was out of town, but her assistant would be getting in touch with me to set something up. So I waited. I was planning to call to schedule it myself if I hadnt heard anything in 2 weeks.One week later (last week) I started getting some sinus drainage & irritated throat. I went to work anyway, which involves talking to a large group of people for a couple hours. I completely lost my voice. Now, I havent been able to talk in 4 days. Its getting worse, not better, and my tonsils feel messed up too. Yesterday at 8:30 am, I submitted a question through Northside ENTs online form since I cant talk on the phone, explaining my condition and asking if I should go ahead and set up an appointment. There was no response by 3:30, so I had my husband call and try to schedule an appointment for me. The receptionist said she would check with the doctor and call back. She didnt call back until the next day (just now) when she told my husband that its my fault I lost my voice because I didnt schedule the follow-up with the voice therapist. He explained that Im sick as well, its not just my voice, and again he was told that theres nothing theyre willing to do for me since I didnt set anything up with their voice therapist. Im completely shocked at this response, and obviously will be looking for a different ENT (and voice therapist) in the future. But for now Im off to urgent care to find a health professional who is actually professional and willing to help me.Edited 2 days later to add that I was correct that they were supposed to be contacting me to schedule the voice therapy appointment. I just received a call from someone at their office who apologized for an office miscommunication they had that resulted in her not being aware that she was supposed to contact me to set that up. So I was refused treatment because of their own mistake. Nice! I also got a follow up call from Dr. Youkilis who apparently did NOT tell whoever my husband talked to that he would not see me since I hadnt scheduled the voice therapy appointment. Based on other reviews of this place, it sounds like they have a problematic receptionist who is going to continue to lose them patients until they do something about her. But Dr. Youkilis himself was wonderful, and I have no problem whatsoever with him. Unfortunately, I will still be contacting a new ENT because I dont feel comfortable in a medical office that employs someone who has such little concern for patients.

I have waited a bit before writing this review so it could be more complete. I had a procedure a year ago to remove a lipoma above my collar bone. It was purely cosmetic but I wanted to address it. My regular doctor referred me to Dr. Robert Youkilis at Northside ENT. Dr. Youkilis was very personable, did his examination, and let me know my options. He also let me know the procedure would take place a few blocks away at the Carmel Specialty Surgical Center. The surgery went well, lasted about an hour, and the scar is just a fine line and is practically invisible even though it is above my collar bone.More importantly, everyone at Northside ENT (receptionist, nurse, doctor) was very nice, efficient, and informative. The office arranged all of the coordination with the Carmel Specialty Surgery Center and let me know who my contact person was. I am not sure how they could have done anything better than they did.The staff at the Carmel Specialty Surgery Center was nothing short of phenomenal -- everyone from the receptionist to the accounts person to the prep nurse to the surgeon [Dr. Youkilis] and anesthesiologist to the nurse who took care of me in the recovery room. Everyone was very helpful and informative, let my wife and me know what would happen next, and made sure I was comfortable though the entire process. It had been years since I had had any kind of surgical procedure so I appreciated how well everyone involved did what they do. One of the things that surprised me most is that Dr. Youkilis called me the next day to see how I was doing. He even invited me to call him or his office directly if I had any questions or concerns. In my opinion it would be difficult for anyone to do it better.I cant recommend Dr. Youkilis, Northside ENT, and the Carmel Specialty Surgery Center more highly. First class!

I really liked Dr. Bruggers and the information he provided about my hearing loss. He ordered some lab tests to find out more. The day after the tests, his nurse left a VM on my home phone, asking me to call back, which of course I didnt get until after work when the office was closed. When I called back the next day, the nurse was out all day and I was told that no one else could provide my test results except Dr. Bruggers, who never called me back. I asked that they call my cell phone instead of my home phone. I had to wait over a long holiday weekend, then called the next business day about 10 am and asked for Dr. Bruggers nurse and they said the best they could do would be to give a message to her. No promise that theyd call me that day. Again, I reminded them to call my cell. When I hadnt heard from them by 2 pm, my husband went over to their office (I was out of town). They swore that they had called my cell phone before noon and left a message. I had no missed calls and no VM. When my husband got home, sure enough, they had left a VM on our HOME machine. Besides the office staffs rudeness, the doctor offered no follow-up and I still have a number of questions about my condition.#1 -- There should be a priority on customer service. Dont ask patients to call back if youre not prepared to help them. There should be a plan to cover for other nurses/doctors when theyre out.#2 -- Dont lie. I can prove that the nurse called my home phone, so dont claim that you called my cell phone!#3 -- There seems to be no accountability for the staff at Northside ENT. I wouldnt recommend this office to others because of their negligence and arrogance.
