I am so grateful for the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce! I have met wonderful people, and my business would not be as successful without the Chamber! The Chamber is constantly working to advocate for businesses in the community. The events are positive and celebrate the local businesses and small business entrepreneurs. It is a must join for Carlsbad businesses!

In what has been a very long couple of months for small business owners, there seem to be very few helpful resources. I was beyond pleasantly surprised when the president of the Chamber was willing to take an immediate phone meeting with me to point me in the right direction for PPP resources. My business is not currently a member, and he still reached out to me personally to make sure we were taken care of. I cant say enough how much I enjoy being a member of Carlsbad Chamber. The Chamber has been an instrumental part in not only growing my business, but building long lasting friendships and connecting me to my community.The staff are truly invested in trying to help its membership grow and provide value. While staff organize many fun, educational and resourceful events, you truly get out what you put in. It is unwise to join and not participate. Most can finish the phrase if you help enough people get what they want... , and the Chamber falls in line with this belief. A member with a heart to give is someone who gets back the most. Members who attend events, join a committee or attend a workshop find they get much more value from their membership.My favorite part of the Chamber is getting a chance to see other business owners and share common ground. Ive been to several local businesses, never to know who is behind them. Now when I visit somewhere in Carlsbad there is a good chance I am connected to that person somewhere, somehow. Its nice to feel like youre a part of the community, especially where we are in a time where we dont know people as well anymore. Technology and Social Media have done well with keeping us connected, but weve become so glued to our smartphones and own lives weve lost some of that positive Cheers lifestyle.I do want to go where everybody knows my name -- now into our third renewal and active involvement with Carlsbad Chamber, I do.
