I came here for a prenatal massage at 39 weeks and out of the few I’ve received my whole pregnancy, my experience at Mantra Karuna takes the cake!! The studio ambience is so warm and relaxing. It smelled heavenly and put me at ease. The massage bed set up was the most comfortable I’ve been in with my pregnant body and I was so at peace and relaxed throughout my 90 minute massage. She gently hit every ache and pain without it being too much. I left my massage session in complete bliss and no pregnancy aches or pains!! I’m now a little over 40 weeks and she squeezed me into her massage schedule last minute to help a desperate mama zen out one more time before this baby gets here!

I loved everything about this massage. Online booking was easy, very user friendly and hassle free. Google maps took me to the place without any pains and found parking right away. The moment you walk into the building you can hear soothing sounds and smell nice essential oils. I was able to let go for those 60 minutes and think about nothing other than how good I was feeling. Highly recommend it!

Nok is kind, thoughtful, and has healing hands. Her prenatal massage was soothing and helped my lower back pain and sciatica so much! I fall asleep every time and wake up light as a cloud. Communicative about any needs, warm, relaxing experience; a full 60 minute body massage including hands and face/head that felt like 90 minutes -- in a good way; Shes receptive and knows how to work muscles without pain and for maximum relaxation. Nok, was ready and waiting when I got there. Very kind, and VERY SKILLED. I have not had a lot of massages, but this was by far the best.Nok made me feel very comfortable and welcome. A couple of times I was wondering if she was done, but no, she had more steps in her process that really enhanced the experience. I cant imagine ever getting a massage from someone else.

Its been almost a week since I got a massage here from Nok and Im still raving about it! Ive been looking for a great massage for a decent price since I moved to the area and I finally found it! The space was clean, quiet and peaceful. Nok listened to all requests/concerns and adjusted accordingly. The 60min Swedish massage + 15min head massage was perfect and exactly what I was looking for. Nok is a a wonderful massage therapist. I received a 90 min Swedish and she did a great job relaxing my sore muscles. Her table is also very comfortable and she used hot towels throughout! I get massage regularly and Nok definitely delivered the nurturing, calming massage I was looking for.

At 38 weeks pregnant, I finally caved and decided to get a prenatal massage for myself. Since I am already on maternity leave and I am trying to stick to a budget, I first decided to check Groupon for a deal. I got lucky and found Mantra Karuna, which is only about 5 minutes from my house. I called on a Sunday and made an appointment for the following day, and was able to get right in (thankfully - because this baby could truly arrive any minute!).The location is easy to find, and there was parking available right out front. Nok greeted me as soon as I walked in the door, invited me in to the space where I was given time to undress and lay down. The bed was SO comfy, even while initially laying on my back. Nok has a wonderful, calming presence and voice to match. I felt relaxed from the very beginning. She had me roll onto one side while she added pillows under my belly and between my knees for comfort, and got right to work.The pressure, intensity and rhythm was perfect. Nok was so methodical even in the way she removed and replaced the sheet and cover each time she rearranged them to work on an area, I was surprised I wasnt asleep in the first 5 minutes. She moved from my back/neck on one side, to my legs, to my back/neck on the other side, feet, décolleté and arms, scalp... it was truly heavenly. At the end of the 60 minutes she began the reiki, during which Im pretty sure I tuned the world out. At the end of the session, Nok gently thanked me and let me know I could take my time to get up and dressed.I am truly grateful to have found Nok and Mantra Karuna, and would absolutely recommend her services to anyone, pregnant or not. I joked on my way out that I would definitely be back, but AFTER the baby arrives, because otherwise the total relaxation I was feeling would likely send me into labor. Might not be a bad idea, though, if baby decides to be stubborn and take her sweet time... :)

I’ve been dealing with severe middle/upper back pain for over a year, and desperate is an understatement after getting X-rays and MRIs, and going from doctor to doctor who had no real answers or solutions to my pain other than diagnosing me with thoracic arthritis at the age of 24. I finally decided to start a regular and frequent routine with a chiropractor, and have made progress but still felt like something was missing. Can’t tell you how hopeful I feel after just one massage at Mantra Karuna with Nok. The atmosphere is so welcoming, and she is hands down the best masseuse I’ve ever been to. I’m sleeping better than ever and am getting my range of motion back. Can’t wait to see the progress I’ll make by sticking with the chiro and seeing Nok twice a month. Wish I could give this place 10 stars!
