When I decided the time was right to have corrective vision surgery, the task of choosing the right doctor was daunting. I decided to go with Dr. Chen after reading testimonials and learning he has had this practice for over a decade. I am so glad it was the correct choice as Dr. Chen and his staff were courteous, knowledgeable, and thorough. I was very nervous during the LASIK procedure but the doctor and operating room staff were reassuringly professional and everything turned out better than I expected! I would now recommend anyone looking into attaining improved vision a consultation at this practice!

I had LASIK surgery around a month ago and wish I would have had the procedure years ago. From initial consult to my current follow-ups, Dr. Chen and his staff have been nothing but diligent and professional at every visit I have had so far. All information that I needed to know was presented to me and any questions I had were answered swiftly. The procedure itself takes very little time at all and the recovery is very easy to manage. I have, and will continue to recommend this location to folks looking for laser eye surgery.

They answered all questions financially and medically making sure i was well educated on lasik procedure and options. I had to have a laser procedure for my retina. I didnt want to have the procedure. Dr. Paul Chen and his staff were great because after the procedure I was nervous about the outcome and had a few more appointments and Dr. Chen did more examinations to make sure I was recovering properly. I had LASIK with Dr. Chen and it is amazing. The staff is quick and thorough and very helpful. They accommodate your schedule very well. Overall a great experience.Dr. Chen himself is a bit fast and blunt for efficiency in his appointments. This will help get in and out quickly without terrible wait times. I opted for PSK LASIK surgery and the staff and Dr. Chen were took me through the process and I came out seeing good as new :) Im really happy with my new eyesight and cant thank them enough.

I had a successful PRK surgery by Dr. Paul Chen at North County Laser Eye Associates in October 2012. I went from a full-time glasses wearer to 20/20 vision in both eyes in less than a month. The pain was mild and fleeting. I took Dr. Chens advice to operate on one eye at a time, one week apart, and that allowed me to not miss any work through the process. Dr. Chen was professional, and it was obvious to me that he holds high standards for his staff. The staff members were attentive to all my needs, shared their own experiences with similar surgeries, and related to me personally. Importantly, the post-surgery protocol involves multiple follow-up appointments, and this made me feel well-cared for (even though Id already paid my $$!). I would recommend North County Laser Eye Associates to anyone with eye care needs.
