Absolutely disgusted with this facility and I will tell you why. Make your own mind up.A premier ER they tell you and then charge you a few extra bucks on top of your deductible.My daughter had an accident went there as it’s local had X-rays taken yes 2 sets. Dr told us nothing wrong just bruising. Confirmed with their radiologist next day. They were incredibly wrong with their diagnosis,. Weeks later after concern with her arm we went to another office to be told she had 2 fractures. They didn’t miss just the one fracture but missed 2 fractures. How can one explain that. Simple. INCOMPETENT(yes I’m upset).What damage may have been done since the wrong diagnosis I don’t no.We certainly will not let this lie.Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

Can I give them 100 out of 5 stars?I have been here twice in the last 3 months.The first time was with my 10 year old daughter. It was a Friday afternoon and we were trying to get in somewhere at the worst possible time. We were leaving town the following morning so we couldnt wait. They got us in right away, and were the absolute loveliest people I could have imagined coming to our rescue in a very stressful situation. They were patient, thorough, and took everything very seriously and cautiously. The medics and doctors treat your kids as though they are their own. I told people that this urgent care is like a dream. If it were in a movie, you would think it was so far fetched you could nor believe it. Its almost magical.Today, I took my son in after he gashed his leg in a bike accident. It was so deep and I am super weak with blood and I couldnt look at it, I just knew it was bad so I took him straight there. We walked in and they immediately saw what needed to be done and rushed him away, letting me sit and compose myself!The medics working were outstanding. They were so caring and nurturing and made my son so comfortable right away. (and me, his falling-apart mom!) Apparently the owner of the urgent care had just popped in to check on something, and immediately threw on her scrubs and got to work. We left 2 hours later, my son with 29 stitches. I was not worried for a moment with him in their care... I knew he was in great care and receiving exactly what the needed.Being a mom of a hurt kid is really stressful. This team takes away some of that stress just by being them! Efficient, knowledgable, caring, and very professional all around.I have had my share of ER visits with my kids, from broken bones, concussions, respiratory issues, and more. There is nothing like this place. It is truly the most amazing emergency medical facility imaginable. I feel so lucky that we live near it, and that we discovered it. I recommend it wholeheartedly and emphatically. Its truly the BEST.And I wish I remembered every name of the people who have helped us these two times, as they were ALL amazing in both instances. The ones I do know are Dr I. (Cant remember her name but a female ER dr, mom of 3), Erin Zehntner and Miranda (both tonight, plus a male that I dont know his name.)THANK YOU, Urgent Care Angels!!! So grateful for you.

I have utilized services at CoastalFamily Urgent Care three different times in the last year. Their facility is wonderful. Each time I was able to get in quickly, receive amazing care, and everything could not have been easier. They are now my go-to for most anything I need medically. Highly recommend!

I didnt think I would find myself writing a review following an issue with bill collection, but I felt compelled to do so because of the highest level of customer service I was just provided. Some context- my boyfriend and I went here in November for a COVID test for travel to Hawaii, as they had partnered with west pac labs to be on the approved travel list. Fast forward many months later and I was receiving a bill from West Pac labs for $100 and a separate bill for my co pay owed to Coastal Family of $10. The breakdown of Coastal Familys bill made complete sense and I had no problem paying the $10 copay. However, I didnt understand why i was also receiving a separate bill from West Pac. Anyways after an already long winded paragraph I just wrote, I called and spoke to the most friendly billing specialist in my life. He took my information to resolve the issue with West Pac and assured me that there was a billing mistake, he even quickly helped resolve my copay owed to Coastal Family. To say that that the whole experience was the complete opposite of what I was expecting would be a serious understatement, as I thought I was just about to wait on hold forever to be told unfortunate news about owing more money than I was initially told. Absolutely incredible customer service a very nice gentleman in the billing department. Bravo!!

I cannot recommend this place enough. The staff (especially Dr Sarah and NP Kristen) were incredible. So knowledgeable and helpful mending me back to good health. The facility is very very clean and the staff are all incredible. Best experience i have had in North County thus far!

Injured my wrist mountain biking on a Saturday. They got me in and x-rayed in the last hour they were open. Everyone I worked with was friendly, efficient, professional and knowledgeable. Very good place to work with and would definitely recommend.

This is a wonderful Urgent Care! I had to take my niece there due to a pool accident requiring stitches. They were so efficient, kind and helpful. Unfortunately she required more care and needed to go to Rady’s Children’s Hospital. They got on the phone right away with the hospital and let them know she was coming, which made the entire process so efficient and smooth. They didn’t even charge me for the visit. I was so impressed with this Urgent care and would highly recommend them!

Dr. Sarah and his staff especially Keith are amazing! They are so grounded and helpful! I didnt realize it was more than just a COVID-19 testing center ! I went in and the same day I had a chest xray, labs and a visit all in one! I have a former career in the medical field, not every urgent care is quality however Coastal Family Urgent care is!!! They offer so much and again you can tell they CARE!

This is not your typical urgent care facility. In fact, it doesnt feel like one at all. Everyone was extremely friendly, helpful and thorough.I had a great experience at Coastal Family Urgent Care and will be recommending them to my friends and family.

Hands down one of the best Urgent Care Office’s ! My newborn daughter and I are visiting from out of state. As a new mother I was concerned because she had a cough. I walked in on a Sunday morning and was seen within 10 minutes or less. My daughter was examined by some of the most kind nurses and physicians I have ever met in my life. Their beside manner is something every office should ever aim to achieve. In addition, to their welcoming and kind staff the office is immaculate! Not to sound weird, but I look forward to the next time I have to go to this urgent care. Thank you so so so much! ❤️

I wish there was a special category for a place that deserves even more than five stars. I was really ill during my two plus week visit to Carlsbad from Chicago and had the good fortune to find the best Urgent Care imaginable! From the moment I walked into this welcoming, clean, friendly, caring environment, I felt taken completely care of. I made an appointment and was taken directly to a room. This is a newer facility so everything is pristine and state of the art. Every person that interacted with me really seemed to care. The PA, Vivian Carlton was terrific. I cannot remember any PA or doctor spending that much time with me ever. Then I called the clinic twice with questions and both Dr. Serra and Dr. Carlton called me back and gave me as much time on the phone as I needed. I had some other issues and went back to Coastal two more times. During both additional visits, everyone again was incredibly compassionate and gave me as much time as I needed. Fortunately I am feeling much better thanks to their excellent medical skills and all of their time that they gave me. Most people worry about what they would do if they were to get sick on a vacation. Well, if you get sick in Carlsbad, you now have a place to go.

I’m from out of town and looked up urgent cares close to our hotel and chose this one due to the wonderful reviews. I was not disappointed . The doctor and staff were so friendly. The doctor was professional and very thorough. The doctor even followed up 2 days later. I believe his name was Dr. Sara or Serra? I would highly recommend them!!!Annette

I had just arrived in LA from NY last week and my 5 year old suddenly became sick. I looked up a few urgent cares in the area and I was very happy that I chose this one. From the staff at the front desk to the PA who saw us everyone was friendly, caring and helpful. Clean facility with parking up front. They were efficient and we were in and out in less than a half hour already on our way to pick up medication for him. Would definitely recommend this place.

My whole experience here was fantastic. It was fast, efficient, the tests came back very quickly. I also cannot say enough good things about the staff, everyone was very kind, patient and incredibly knowledgeable. I definitely will be making this the place I go to if I need any more medical care

Everyone here is awesome! I have used them several time for sports related injuries and they have taken great care of me. The whole staff is super friendly and honest, I highly recommend using them!

We were on vacation when my daughter needed to be seen for leg. The staff was so friendly and helpful. PA Carlton was amazing and took her time with us and made our whole experience much more pleasant than it could have been otherwise. Really great staff here, and RESPONSIVE! I even have been able to speak with the doctors after my visit which, let’s be honest, is virtually unheard of. I did not have to wait, they were super on top of covid19 procedures, and were all-around helpful. I wouldn’t consider going elsewhere for urgent care. Thank you CFUC! Rockstars

Coastal is quick & awesome. My mom sprained her ankle several weeks ago & they did multiple X-rays right away. They give them to you on a CD and explain it to you on their computer screen. They can draw blood and send out to a lab also, which they did b/c my mom’s ankle injury was exacerbated by gout. And my son got the flu really bad & lost 20 lbs a couple months ago!!! They put him on an IV (fluids & meds) b/c he was severely dehydrated. Love their doctor, PA & nurses & staff!My mom was visiting from Japan and she cried later b/c she was so grateful that Dr. Serra & staff showed her so much kindness.

Dr. Serra and staff were very caring and helpful. This is a huge relief knowing they are in my neighborhood and so awesome! I feel very safe knowing they are there, thank you for your help!

Wow! I was seen within moments of finishing filling out the forms. The staff was friendly, efficient and knowledgable. The doctor spent time making sure I understood what he was thinking and why he was recommending the course of treatment for me. He approached my problem from a wholistic perspective and treated me like a person and not simply a case. I HIGHLY recommend.

If you are looking for an exceptionally great staff within a brand new clean environment, I would highly recommend Coastal Family Urgent Care.I went in for Xeomin Aesthetics injections from Vivian, who did an amazing job informing me on the product that the FDA recommends over the Botox brand, as well as assessing where she was going to inject and why. Her knowledge made me instantly trust her and instantly recommended her to several of my friends.With the extraordinary treatment from start to finish, I will be back for both Aestheics and Urgent Care needs.
