Both my kids are now part of the Peak Pediatric dentistry family.I love that Dr Dixon has a conservative approach to dentistry. Amazing Staff! they were so friendly and accommodating to me and my Autistic Daughter. They were very patient with her and very respectful of her boundaries and abilities. Very understanding people! Although we werent able to get much done due to my daughter protesting, they did offer us another appointment in a few months where they could have and Anesthesiologist come in. However, they did say I would have to be the one to contact them, schedule them and would also have to pay an up front Fee for them; that I would be later reimbursed. Other than that, would definitely recommend! The Staff was Amazing and the Dentist was Awesome and so Patient. Im very grateful for their calming and respectful attitudes.

Dr. Chris and staff at Peak Pediatric are absolutely wonderful. Their care and concern for their patients is over the top. When you become a patient, you become a part of their family. They are always responsive in times of crisis, and do their very best to work with you to meet your unique needs. My insurance changed and I had to find a new dentist for my kids. I stumbled upon Peak Dentistry and am so glad that I did! I previously went to another popular pediatric dentist here in Carlsbad and this establishment was much more quaint and personal versus a larger in and out type of place. I took my son (almost 3 years old) to Peak for a regular check up. Dr. Chris and his staff were extremely kind and very patient. The office is clean and kid friendly. We had a great experience.

Dr. Chris is very gentle, makes sure the child is comfortable and always makes you feel like one of the family. I wouldnt trust any other dentist with my kids dental needs. My youngest has dental anxiety and Dr. Chris and his staff were patient and kind. They ensured she knew everything going on. They were fabulous with my older kiddo too. The office staff was great too. The office was clean and welcoming. My kids with dental anxiety actually handed me their card when we arrived home and said “Save this, I definitely want to go back there.”

Great experience. I was nervous about how my daughter would react given that she had never had dental work done before and the people at PPD were super professional and great at keeping her calm. I’m glad we were recommended by our regular dentist and highly recommend them.

We just moved to Carlsbad in May and needed to find a long term pediatric dentist for our daughter in our new city and after reviewing several dentist offices we came across peak and decided to give it a try since it was local and we are so happy we went this route. The staff is incredible and made our little girl feel so comfortable. She was a nervous wreck and opened up completely towards the end. They are very personable and went the extra mile to reassure all was well for us. Looking forward to seeing them all again in 6 months for another check up! I highly recommend if you’re looking for a pediatric dentist for your littles. Being a first time mama we are very picky as to where our girl goes and we made the right choice. The office is such a clean space, very modern with a pinch of surf vibes which made it such a cool spot!

We love going to PEAK Dentistry!! When you walk in the waiting room it presents to be very clean and tidy. They have an air purifier in the waiting room (the little things). The front staff is very friendly and greets you right when you walk in. They make you feel like they recognise you and address your child by name. The office is very efficient, we have never had to wait long. The back staff is amazing with and great with kids as they are also very sweet to the parent. Dr. Chris is also very sweet and gentle, and has a great bedside manner. And again I must reiterate how efficient the office is ran. We are always in and out for our wellness exams and cleanings. I know we all love that as parents!!

My son was recommended to this Pediatric Dentistry because he was too young for some dental work through the first place we went too. I really like how clean, friendly, professional, and gentle the staffs were with him. My son really enjoys the fact that they have a television on their ceiling therefore that helps keep him occupied while his teeth is getting cleaned.

Took my almost 3-year-old to the dentist for the first time here. They were very patient with us and while he did cry the entire time they were looking in his mouth the dentist and dental assistants reassured me it was a normal reaction for his age. He calmed down almost immediately and got a fun prize for being brave. Im happy with the way they handled everything and Im hopeful his next appointment will go better.

My daughter is almost 12 and this is the first dentist she doesnt kick and scream bloody murder about when it is time to go see. She recently had two teeth pulled and Dr. Dixon was amazing with her and so was the hygienist that helped and held her hand during - she didnt even make a peep, wasnt nervous ahead of time and was fine immediately after! Great bedside manner and everyone is really friendly and helpful.

The dentist and the team are amazing! I was sent there by referral and my was told that my child didn’t need extensive work done (that had been recommended by previous dentist). Save me a lot of worry, my child from unnecessary anesthesia, and a lot of money.

I have dental hesitation for myself, so choosing a dentist for my kids was really overwhelming. I couldnt have been more at ease with our first visit to Peak. My daughter had her first ever dental surgery, and everyone there was so fantastic, so sweet, and they not only made her feel comfortable, they made me, her mom, NOT THE ONE HAVING SURGERY, feel completely comfortable. My daughter did fantastic and felt so great! Not a single tear!

They were wildly friendly and super accommodating. My kiddos have some allergies and they made sure everything they used would be safe for them. They also were conservative with their recommendations where the Super Dentists were very very pushy for fillings.

All four of my children with ages ranging from 1-7 years old had appointments. They were greeted with smiles and felt at ease about getting their teeth cleaned. Dr. Chris made sure to answer and address any questions I had and we had a great experience. Plus we were in and out of the office in 35 mins!

Five stars all around! Each member of the front desk staff were kind, helpful, and attentive. The hygienists were comforting and efficient and Dr. Chris put our dentist-fearing children at ease. Took my daughter in today, saved us hundreds in what we thought was an infected tooth that needed to be extracted. Turns out The Super Dentists aren’t so super, because these dentists informed us it wasn’t even infected what so ever! I’ve taken my daughter to super dentists for 5 years and spend thousands in dental work that has led to her trauma of even having the mirror touch her teeth. They were able to provide her all comfort and even smiles that she needed to feel safe that her teeth was a priority that didn’t need to be taken advantage of. Highly recommend this office to anyone looking for the proper dental care for their children.

Let me start off by mentioning, previously Ive had some bad luck with dentists myself and that caused unneeded anxiety towards dentists. Peak Pediatric Dentistry has been a wonderful place to take my child. Before coming here we went to 3 other pediatric dentists, one of which was an absolute nightmare, and the other two were NOT the right fit. When someone suggested Peak Pediatric, I was skeptical, but had been looking when our other pediatric dentist told me my 6 year old son needed to have some of his teeth removed since they hadnt fallen out on their own. First off, the cost was significant and second they did fall out on their own, becaue I chose to wait even after multiple recommendations. What a concept! Some kids teeth take longer to fall out than others. For the record, there wasnt any issues with my sons teeth either. First time at Peak Pediatric, Dr. Chris told me that my sons teeth were looking good and that he still had some teeth that would fall out. No mention of needing them to be removed. He was professional, polite and knowledgeable. He answered ALL my questions and explained everything so I understood what to expect, and what I could do as a parent to help my child with his dental needs at home. Since that first appt, weve had nothing but great experiences with the staff and Dr. Chris. Everytime we go, we feel welcomed and the staff and Dr. Chris are always polite and understanding, as kids and life are hardly predictable. Also since covid, they have health safety measures in place for everyones protection. I give them 5 stars for great customer service and making our family a part of theirs. Keep up the great work and kudos to all!

I took my almost 2 year old for his second-ever checkup here after moving to the area. Everyone we encountered was kind and welcoming. The office is clean and the waiting room is spacious. When it was our turn, they checked our temps with an infrared thermometer before having us come back (covid). Dr. Chris was prompt and gentle while checking my sons teeth. Being a young toddler, he wasn’t thrilled about this and cried the whole time, but Dr. Chris was still able to get a good look and said the crying was normal for this age. He brushed his teeth, did an exam and a fluoride treatment and we were done! Exams at this age are pretty short, and we were in and out in less than 15 minutes. As long as we live in the area I will absolutely be bringing my son here for his checkups and cleanings.
